We have been going here with our two dogs since we got them both 4 years ago when they were pups. One of them broke her tooth. We took her in and they were so kind and helpful. They worked with us on price and we got her dental surgery that day. It all happened very fast and they took amazing care of her. She is doing very well 24 hours after 5 teeth being removed. They really care about you and your fur babies here.

I have a not-so-friendly Husky, who needed his shots and caused me so much anxiety that I had put it off and put it off. When I finally called around to other vets and explained my situation and fears, most places were either super judgy toward me or wanted me to take out a second mortgage to pay for the appointment. Linn Animal Hospital North staff were simply amazing. They didn't speak down to me or make me feel like my puppy was a lost cause. The doctor was spectacular with us also. He explained everything to us and didn't push us on procedures, but instead gave us the facts and let us know we could see how this appointment went and then schedule for other things later. Prices were extremely reasonable and the appointment was done with compassion and support for our situation. This will definitely be our forever vet!!

My cat needed to see a vet immediately so I was calling any vet I could find for availability. While others were willing to provide suggestions of who else might be available on a Saturday, this location instead refused assistance (because they were busy) but also would only recommend their alternate locations later in the week. I ended the call with the impression that they'd rather let my pet suffer or worse than suggest help they couldn't profit from. Tl;Dr: Profit over pets. Reply: Couldn't find another way to respond to your post below so I've added it here. I did end up at Blue Pearl after another vet pointed me in that direction. Having recently moved to the area, I was unaware of this, and your office wouldn't recommend them during the call. We've since found a proper vet in town and have taken a few of our pets there. I was disappointed that I wasn't introduced to Blue Pearl until I had contacted another clinic, when it seems as though you could have done it when I needed it most.

As a long-standing customer, 30 plus years, Linn Animal hospital at all of their locations provides the most comprehensive and pet-centric care. Solid diagnosis and recommendations.

They are so caring and thoughtful. My Rylie is healing up very well and they were able to remove her cancer so she can stay with us for a while longer. Can’t thank them enough

I have never been treated so rude by their office staff been going to Linn Animal for at least 7 years and it is all the locations and today was the straw that broke the camels back my dog was very sick and they said that they did not have a opening and then she comes back and tells me that they have a spot that they can work me in and told me that they were doing me a favor and so I called another vet and they said that they could get me and so we went there and then I called them and again the office staff told me that they were doing me a favor and that they moved people around to get me and I said no because they told me that they were working me in so why lie and then they told me that they have a appointment at 4:00 they put me there and I said I would get back to them and they called the vet we went to to get was wrong with my dog and I told the new vet not to give it to them dont treat me bad and then think we are going to come back that will not happen...

I have an aggressive dog when it comes to vets. No one knew how to handle her. She’s 10 and has literally been to 8 vets. My husband became friends with one of the vets here and he has done such a great job. We got a new puppy and he’s really made the experience so relaxing and wonderful. I wish we started going to him sooner with our older dog.

They saved our Doggo's life this past fall. Emergency surgery done at their Marion location by Dr. Garmin. She was fantastic with him and with us!! Thank you so very much!!! We usually see Dr. Winterowd at the North location and like them there, too!!! Great vets and great staff!!!

I called them to set up my shih tzu as a new patient and they were able to get me in within a couple days, just for routine work. Unfortunately, I had something come up and had to cancel that appointment but because of the very sweet and professional people they have answering the phones, as well as their ability to fit you in rather quickly, I will be rescheduling with them for sure!

They were able to schedule my dog fairly quickly for an ear infection but the price I was quoted over the phone was much less than what they charged my husband when he took her in. If I had known, I would have challenged the bill to have them justify the jump in price. She goes back for a follow-up soon so I plan to get some answers. Otherwise seems like a great place. Clean, friendly.

Great veterinarians! Had a sick cat that wouldn’t eat, they ran all the needed tests to diagnose, and gave me the right medication and food advice to get my cat back to normal. Anyone’s pets are in great hands here!!

Great people. We were in quickly and received great service. They were caring towards our animals and listening to our concerns. They also got back to us with blood work results very quickly relieving us of the concerns we had over our animals health and gave us guidance on how to improve and give them longer healthy lives as well. Addition: A week ago we had to take my 19 year old cat back in. Unfortunately she had declined very quickly and had to be put down. They were extremely caring and sensitive. Having dealt with this situation before I knew what was going on but they still walked through the procedure and explained everything. I appreciated very much how they were so understanding

As the owner of multiple cats I have been very pleased with the services provided by the staff at Linn Animal Hospital North. I recently brought in a cat for some dental work, and the results have been excellent. They are gentle with the animals, as well as thorough. They provide you with an estimate of the work to be done, explain the process and the possible issues, and deliver your animal back to you at the estimated time. Thank you to them for a job well done. You have my continued patronage as long as I have cats (and reside in Iowa).

They are super respectful and helpful. Been going here for years and I've never had a single complaint.

I showed up on the wrong day (a day early for my appt) but they still got me in however, after 378$ in tests I'm told it'd cost an additional 200$ to send off to radiologist to diagnose the problem... really... so disappointing that everyone is about money instead of quality of service. I knew I should have walked back out when I saw the sign that said 8.75$ additional for splitting prescription pills. I won't use them again and definitely told my buddies about my experience. Response: You could have told me you couldn't do anything but take xrays and that'd it be additional for a radiologist to read outside. If I'd known that I would have went another direction. You know what you did as I've seen in other reviews.

Best experience ever! Dr was so nice and took care of all our needs. Highly recommend!
