This has always been a family favorite, but tonight was exceptional. We devoured what we got so quickly, but we did get a could pics (Huge Hefner & the Cedarburger). The food is always literally made fresh and just like a greasy burger stand burger should be. The Custard is always creamy and delish. But the stars of the show are the 4-member team of highschoolers just cranking out food this sunday eve (3/19/23) just before close. None have stopped moving. None are crabby about it. I wish I had staff like this...

Why go to Culver’s when you can have a much more authentic and bigger burger! Love this old school burger and shake spot, from the exterior to the arcade games and inside it feels like the burger spots of the 80s and 90s! Burgers are big and there’s a lot of options, we enjoyed the Huge Hefner and the Cedar Burger! Huge Hefner is a play on the Big Mac and is wayyy better obviously, the cedar burger was good as well, the cheese sauce is pretty rich tho. Had the get a shake and an Oreo cookie sandwich too, boy are we glad we stopped! If your in the area, trust me, skip Culver’s and come here!

I was treated to Hefners for dinner and boy howdy was it a great burger joint! The restaurant has a pleasant clean aesthetic to it and has good quick service! The food itself is very great! I had a vanilla milkshake, order of fries and double cheeseburger woth pickles and mustard and all tasted great and filling! Try Hefners out if you're in the area, it's great! Solid food, good outdoor seating in the summer, cozy block corner with lots of mature trees. Highly suggest stopping in, even if it's just the once. This place isn't for everyone. But for those that it is, it's very well loved. It's almost always at least a little busy. Locals mostly. There's great parks near by so highly suggest, if the parking lot is too crowded for you, to stop at one of those. Custard is solid, fries are solid, the rest is on preference. Food ranges from good cookout to excellent diner. Hard to go wrong. Never going to have something you hate.

Awesome little old fashioned custard shop just outside the heart of Cedarburg. We stopped for a frozen treat after a long day of hiking with the toddler. The menu was big with lots of food options, but we didn't explore any of them. The custard was great, loved by the toddler. I had the Reeses malt, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Likely vanilla custard with a big handful of reeses peanut butter cups chopped up throughout. It definitely needed a bigger straw, but dang was that tasty. We enjoyed our custard in one of the many outdoor seats. What a beautiful location.

Fun little place with indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside would not be handicap accessible as it's pretty tight inside. Great for a quick fast food bite. Portions are huge and prices are great for what you get. I had the regular fish sandwich and was fill up when I was done. Hubby got the Hugh Hefner burger and onion rings. Said it was like having a big Mac, he meant that as a compliment, but better. Onion rings were fabulous! When i tried to order ice cream though, i didnt realize the big lust was toppings only. When I had asked about flavors of ice cream I was told 3 flavors that didn't interest me but after we ordered saw a man with a chocolate cone so was confused by that. Maybe it wasn't explained to me accurately, maybe I just didn't understand what she said. I would go there again and hopefully get a real explanation of the ice cream menu! Outdoor seating has a great ambiance for an ice cream place. Check the. Out for sure!

Although I enjoy the food. I can't help but notice the the service has been on a steady downward trajectory. Unfortunately Hefner's has become an establishment where I'm simply not surprised when my order is incorrect. And as I previously stated that I really do enjoy the food, if the quality of service does not change,I fear that my patronage may have to come to an end.
