This is one of the best parks in suburban Denver (Greenwood Vlg) and we don’t come here enough. The wide open spaces, bathrooms, paths, access to the Highline Canal and HCT, many picnic tables and benches….. It’s a lovely park. And yesterday we actually found my husband’s childhood home on Panama Dr! It was so cool to watch him count and then 95% confidently say “That’s it!”

Beautiful park connecting to the Highline Canal trail. Not very busy and a lot of nice open space for training sessions with your dog.

Extremely clean and well kept. Dog friendly park! Public restrooms are clean and easily accessible right by entrance. There's so many hidden spots that are easy to get to if you're not an avid walker. Makes you feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this park. I love it!!!!

I liked this park a lot. There are plenty of paved trails to explore. I also liked the small dam that is there. Very bicycle friendly as well. I saw a few folks letting their dogs play in the water also.

Easy parking and nice playground. The tennis courts and basketball court seemed well kept too.

Great park overall and a good starting point for bike rides of various lengths. The park has lots of facilities including tennis courts, covered eating areas, bathrooms, and children's play grounds. This bike route and others and videos of rides in Denver can be seen on Spoke32 Cycling Club on Facebook or YouTube. Pictures below are from those rides.

The water was running fast across the walking path, so there was no walking there, but it looked very cool from the bridge.

My son and my pup love it. In special the pass through the little creek.

Presence of large trees makes this park really enjoyable during afternoon hours of hot summer days. The stream next to the fields makes this park even more fun to spend few hours with the kids. Overall it is a very well maintained and popular park. Parking lot gets filled up quickly so it can be tricky during weekends and holidays.

Beautiful walk! Wish vehicle's were not allowed on paths, unless doing work. But it is a beautiful area.

Another hidden gem of a park this one with a nice creek running through it. Tennis courts are more for the recreational player with decent cracks so the serious players should seek elsewhere. High line canal trail is here parking is decent lots of shade lots of sun.

Great place for the kids to play and explore. They have a little library by the bathroom, and my little ones love that.

Lovely park to sit and relax. Nice playground and several benches by the creek, as well as shaded picnic areas.

I don't understand why the bathrooms are closed at this park too. Please call Park and Rec and tell them to open the bathrooms. Why would they be closed for six months of the year ? People need bathrooms in the winter as much as the summer. We pay taxes year round. The P&R workers get paid year round.

Great playground, lots of green space, a creek, and bathrooms. My kids love it! Only negative is that it needs more parking.

We rented shelter C across from the athletic center for our rescue picnic. In my opinion there is no better place for a family/group meeting or picnic. We highly recommend this park.

Fun playground. Lots of space for children and adults to run around. Good amount of trash cans. I liked how there were holes in the top to make it easier to throw garbage away.

Big park. Well maintained! They have a playground. Picnic area, Tennis courts, baseball fields and presumably, soccer fields too. Lots of places to explore. Just across the Canal is the ice rink too. The rec center is a stone throw away.

deKoevend is one of the best places in the Denver metro for outdoor activities! I am there quite often and I can tell you it's quite nice with plenty of open trails and other facilities available 😃

We visit this park quite often. The kids live to play in the creek and on the playground. Unfortunately, the water fountain doesn't, or didn't, work.

Large Multi-use park with lots of trees and an irrigation canal. From the parking lot, you can NOT see many of the Park features, like the ball fields, and there are no maps or signs giving directions. I did not see a sign for the Park, either, when driving up toward the parking lot from the south. The softball field was hard on the infield and OK in the outfield, sporting 275 foot fences.
