I've been coming here for quite a few years and have camped, photographed, watched the stream, exercised, cooled off during conflicts. This is definitely one of my favorite places and like a second home. The people who visit here are almost always friendly, and the scenery changes daily. I definitely recommend this place but I've been reluctant to review for fear of encouraging overcrowding. One of few peaceful places left on the metro area. My only concern is the occasional Sasguatch sighting- see photo for details πŸ˜‚

Great open space that connects to the area trail system. I run here frequently and love that I can get some hill work in our keep it somewhat flat, depending on what I'm doing. I don't go on top of the dam often buy did yesterday, they recently added crushed rock and it was a great surface with obvious wife trail at the end connecting back down on the east side. If you are new to the open space, there is also a landscape service center for south suburban on the grounds, it's the building. During the service center hours it's best not to park in their work parking lot towards the dam, stay towards the entrance from Holly. It's a small parking lot but I've rarely seen it completely full. Added photos and a couple of videos showing the flooded area after the 3.25" of rain received on 6/26/2021. It was definitely higher last night before it was done raining, this is still impressive over 10 hours later.

I was visiting family for the holidays and I would move there just to have this space. It is the best walking trail I've ever been to and the clearing is so beautiful and open and this winter was just perfect for walking. I looked forward to it every day taking my dog Henry and then I would drop him off and go for a job training for my 5K and I am not a physical person but this beautiful area made me! Dead serious!

Easy neighborhood loop to walk, about 2 miles, mostly flat aside from going up the dam portion. You can cross up and down the dam on side paths for a more challenging workout. Small gravel lot on Holly. Peaceful and can see nice sunsets from the dam.

Nice! Well maintained, a variety of nature filled scenery. A trail that's an easy walk, a peaceful off neighborhood track. Also, an unassuming, little parcel, a special memory sphere with a bench, small shade trees, fresh flowers and touching memorials.

Great spot for a dog to run off lease. Long paths to keep an eye on other people coming up. A few muddy spots, but otherwise great for a nice walk.

Willow Springs open space is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away in Centennial. My daughter and I stumbled upon this area through our Geocaching app. There are 4 hidden treasures throughout this trail. The trail is easy for small children and even strollers if needed. We had a great time walking the dogs and searching for geos.

Agreed with most! Love the little slice of nature! It may not be very big nor real nature but it’s a decent temporary escape! Sometimes it even turns into a makeshift little lake!

It's a nice little gem in the city. Open space with trees and other plants. You can climb the dam and get a good view or traverse the dirt trails or the concrete track. There are sweet memorials to peoples loved ones along the trail. Wonderful place to walk your dog and get in some steps. I would give it a 5 stars if they had a place to use the restroom on site.

I learned from a neighbor that there’s free mulch available for residents here. It would be so helpful if the sign for this facility on Holly, added their hours of operation times and an additional sign about Free Mulch for residents. The free mulch for residents sign can only be seen when you drive inside the open gates during their weekdays hours of operation. This is so great that residents have access to free mulch. When I called to inquire, the person was very kind and helpful and we went to get mulch for our trees in our yard. Thank you for this great service.

Interested in nature? This park located in Englewood Reservoir showcases the wildlife, wildflowers and geology of the Denver Basin. Interpretive displays make the visit an enjoyable, educational experience. Shops along Arapahoe and in the nearby Park Meadows shopping area provide plenty of amenities including light rail connection into Denver.

Great calm place that is not too far, but allows you to get out in nature. Dirt trails are great for running as it's never very busy.

Peaceful neighborhood and a nice big park for it. For those that don't know, there is an actual spring here and sometimes you can find water coming out of the ground!
