I am only giving this one star because while the bathrooms were closed they did have a porta potty, which was handicap accessible. It has been a long time since we launched from there, but now there is a$15.00 fee for non- residents! Really?

My family stayed just up the road from this little gem of a beach and wow I couldn't be happier.

The Center Harbor, NH Town Beach is a small, interesting area with docks, a boat launch and a small non-public beach that has a nice view of the M/S Mount Washington. During this pandemic season we’ve done take-out from several local area restaurants and parked here to eat out lunch or dinner. People fish off the docks during the summer season. The boat launch is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. There is a 3-hour time limit on docking and an attendant will collect a $15 fee from non-residents. The beach and park area also has some benches with a nice view of the lake.

This little beach is a gem! Clean, shallow drop off is great for little kids, not crowded most days. But not a public beach. Only for Center Harbor residents and guests. You need a beach permit, or a guest pass from a resident. Otherwise you will asked to leave; parking is limited and by permit only and violators are ticketed. Tough restrictions, but also why the beach is so nice.

When the temperatures soared to the mid-90s this was such a beautiful place to go to to cool off. Beautiful beach with all the amenities and right next door are the center Harbor public piers and boat launch. We could fish and swim within 15 ft of each other. The beach was in great shape with two lifeguards they have a raft for jumping off from, just a nice place. we went there daily during our vacation my grandson and I to mostly fish but we went swimming also on a couple of days.

Beautiful well-kept. Sandy Beach ~150ft short. Small grass field 100'x100', playground with climbing stuff, slides, swing sets, Pavilion of 9 tables (seating ~70), 2 porta potties. Would have given it 5 Stars had it been 3 times larger.

Went there to see the Mount Washington in its home port. It isn't running yet.

This is NOT a public beach and never has been. This is for Center Harbor and Moultonborough residents only. Parking passes are required. A $75.00 parking ticket will be issued for vehicles parked without a permit. This is not uncommon in the lakes region that towns around the lake have resident only beaches.
