Disappointing
Experience
at
Starbucks
-
Bird
Paradise
I
recently
visited
Starbucks
at
Bird
Paradise
with
my
2-year-old
son,
hoping
for
a
delightful
experience
during
our
day
out.
Unfortunately,
our
encounter
with
the
male
Chinese
cashier
with
glasses
left
us
with
a
rather
disappointing
impression.
Upon
placing
my
order,
the
cashier
requested
that
I
wait,
which
I
completely
understood
given
the
busy
weekend.
To
manage
my
active
toddler,
I
had
him
sit
on
the
counter
next
to
me.
However,
when
the
cashier
returned,
he
abruptly
mentioned
not
to
have
my
son
on
the
counter,
and
the
manner
in
which
he
communicated
this
was
far
from
pleasant.
As
I
visited
Starbucks
today
alone
with
my
toddler
,
I
strive
to
ensure
my
child's
behavior,
especially
in
public
spaces.
Regrettably,
when
my
son
innocently
touched
the
visa
machine,
the
Starbucks
staff
swiftly
and
rudely
moved
it,
leaving
us
feeling
unwelcome.
Weekends
are
undoubtedly
busy,
but
this
experience
contradicted
the
joyful
atmosphere
expected
at
a
family-friendly
venue
like
Bird
Paradise.
It
was
disheartening
to
encounter
such
an
unwelcoming
attitude,
especially
considering
we
were
there
to
enjoy
the
park
with
our
children.
I
believe
customer
service
plays
a
pivotal
role
in
shaping
overall
experiences,
and
this
incident
fell
short
of
the
expected
standards.
I
hope
this
feedback
serves
as
a
constructive
way
for
Starbucks
at
Bird
Paradise
to
address
and
improve
their
service.
