ARULMIGU LAKSHMI NARASIMHA SWAMY TEMPLE (அருள்மிகு லட்சுமி நரசிம்ம சுவாமி திருக்கோவில்) is located in Ukkadam, Coimbatore. It is centrally placed in the heart of the city, very near to Town hall, and anyone coming to this temple can get down at Ukkadam and can just walk 200 mtrs towards Townhall can reach the temple in 2 minutes. This 250-year-old (approx) temple was very recently consecrated (திருக்குடமுழுக்கு) on 5th February 2020 and the function was celebrated in a grand manner with thousands of devotees visiting the temple and there was large number of people waiting on the roads in queue to see the lord on that day. Annadhanam was also done with great grandeur and many people were provided food and water. All arrangements made were very well organized. On visiting this temple, one can receive blessings from Lord Ganesha with Lord Rahu and Lord Kethu just below a Peepal tree, Lord Hanuman and Lord Garudan at the entrance of the main diety of Lord Narasimha with Goddess Lakshmi sitting on his left lap. There is a separate dedicated room available for lighting lamp with many tables on the South-West side of the temple and very next to it is a newly renovated Annadhanam hall present. SPECIAL POOJAS: 1. Swathi Star homam (சுவாதி நட்சத்திர பூஜை) 2. Sahasranaamam Archanai (சஹஸ்ரநாம அர்ச்சனை) Daily Annadhanam is carried out by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department (இந்து சமய அறநிலையத் துறை) as this temple is run and maintained by them. There is a separate toilet facility for both men and women just on the North-West corner of the temple near the Annadhanam hall. Devotees are not treated equally here very high partiality is seen for a single lady devotee whenever she visits they stop the pooja and let her inside till the god statue and give her alone kumkum and chandan. I have been noticing this incident for almost 14th week and this very bad as a devotee everyone should be treated equally. When the special lady comes all the ayyars will go and work as if she is their Boss. Very bad. Last week incident was very horrible they made us wait for more than 15 minutes. I request the management to take this an request and change the things accordingly. For kind information this happens every Tuesday morning. If you want check it.

Very nice temple. Very huge crowd. God save us ever

Liked it. Felt a little like dharmapuri in Telangana. It was not too crowdy we went on a Saturday evening. But do they not serve prasadam in here, like when we went they didn't. So i think they might be serving only on special occasions.
