    I spent a week staying there for a business trip. The rooms are well maintained, the housekeeping is thoroughly done and the staff are professional and friendly. The room I stayed in didn't have a refrigerator, but the staff went out of their way to arrange one for me. The only gripe I had was with the restaurant, as I was there for work and need to get going early. It says online that the restaurant opens at 06:30, and that is acceptable to ensure that one can plan around this. But they only put out all the food at about 06:50 at which time you can dish up. Until then they seem to be setting up, at least for the week I was there. In addition, there is ample safe parking and security.

    Hotel restaurant starters, burned chicken livers soaked in peri peri sauce. Bruschetta burned. A visiting family who had been there for a long duration was clearly comfortable in the restaurant.The child in his high chair screamed at the top of his lungs for 50 minutes. Cosseted by waitrons (which is not a bad thing) but encouraged by mother. Two patrons objected but carried him eventually for a few seconds of silence. A dinner ruined by lack of thought and a poorly constructed meal. No block out curtains to enable a decent sleep which was further interrupted by the slamming of doors and extremely rowdy returning guests.

    Great conference centre. Tech equipment on point audio and visual. Tables well set with mineral water, some mint, a pen and writing pad. Lovely dinning area with delicious food. Walkable distance to the lovely Centurion Mall. Friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay. Thanks ANEW Hotel Centurion.

    A group of about 20 of us arrived on a business trip and they were not equipped to handle all of us arriving at the same time. We arrived at about 8pm and were wanting dinner (which they were advised we would) and assumed that we would eat from the buffet which was R295 per head. We had a budget of R300 per person which was supposed to include our soft drink. When enquiring about ordering a la carte we were told it would take about 45 minutes. 2 of us ordered pasta and a third ordered a steak, medium done. When our food arrived over 45 minutes later the steak was overcooked and it was quite a performance to get them to rectify their mistake. I would not recommend the hotel as a result. The staff were unfriendly and surly.

    My bed wasn't made and looked like someone just got out of it. Got a new duvet but should've insisted on all new linen. Returned home with a rash from something that bit me as diagnosed by gp (should actually ask ANEW to pay my medical bills). Desk chair and towels in tatters. However, no loadshedding disruption, great food and service. Especially from Richard at the bar.

    The mat/rag in the hotel its an old story. No fridges in some of the rooms at the corridors there are dirty spots, it's not looking good.

    I was traveling for business and spent 5 full days in the hotel. Unlike my 5 older, male colleagues who were provided with quiet rooms on the 5th floor, with view to the pool ..., I was given a room on the first floor, facing the parking lot and the busy road. I was sent politely to hell when asking to be treated like my colleagues. So: not much difference compared to Europe for treatment of solo women travellers. The restaurant is fine when you don't have to stay 24/7. The food never changed. Great breakfast buffet, omelettes and other egg variations are cooked for you on request. Friendly service. It's best to stay away from green beans... They are way undercooked. The hotel is some 50 m away from a large shopping mall. It feels safe to go and was a nice distraction. There is a train station across the bridge. No time to try but I was told it's ok to walk there as a group. Conclusion ; safe hotel, but not a pleasant stay for me

    I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent 2-day stay at ANEW - my first with the ANEW hotel group. Large comfortable rooms, large shower and nicely serviced by housekeeping. Strong (and quiet) AC (which was required at 40deg C when I was there). Pleasant working area in the room and strong wi-fi. Friendly reception and bar. Although there isnt a fridge in the room, the bar very kindly provided me with a bucket of ice. Will definitely be making use of ANEW elsewhere in the country on my travels.

    Been here once and the rooms are amazing!! I walked in asked for the cheapest room and got a amazing one at that!! Neat and tidy is a understatement! Had a proper desk if you want to work there as well!!

    We booked for 2 x family rooms, we only got one room with a sleeper couch, the other room did not have a sleeper couch. The rooms were quite different in that one had a fridge and the other did not, there was no consistency, there was no blow dryer in the one room, did request for one and did not receive it. When we arrived, the rooms were not very clean. There was also ants on the bed in another room booked. There was an awful stench at the restaurant and surrounding outside areas as well as the elevator at the hotel. There was no communication regarding this although there were repairs being done. Personally the reception and surrounding areas around the reception can be rated 4 stars but not the actual rooms that is a one star for me.

    Absolutely horrendous experience at this ANEW Hotel. 1st: They have an iron back log( dont know what that is) so just know that you might not get an iron and might be creased your entire stay. 2nd: There is a funny smell am not sure if its the room or sheets or general smell of the area because of the swamp close by. 3rd: During my stay my bed side lamp wasnt working 4th: the sink clogged and water didnt go down. 5th: When i asked them how many stars they had they said they have 4 however they are a new hotel which explained alot because what i received was a 1 star / hostel stay experience. They mustnt say its 4 star when its not. Pricing is 1400 but i could have paid much less somewhere else and gotten a better hotel stay. So with that said. If you can stay else. Honestly really not worth it.

    Attended a day's training session in the conference room/ offices, clean, prestige , pristine and friendly service. Noted the restaurant area and external pool area for social drinks etc. Will definitely consider for a private stay over when doing business in the area.

    The hotel is a mess,they don't even clean the bath room for the whole week,they don't change sheets for a week,the toilet is not cleaned aswel as the shower. I will never be here again and I blame the NPA for booking us here. The food is terrible and one thing daily. This place my must be closed or NPA must delete this hotel from their database The room is a mess. Sheets not changed for the entire week, Bathroom is not cleaned. Like the wall of bathroom shower is rusty

    What a beautiful hotel and excellent service, from the reception to the end. Loved the pool area and the lighting at night. I booked for 3 days and I felt at home. The rooms are so clean, it's so quiet and the food was just out of this place "delicious". Compliments to Vuyo at the reception, she made the checking in so easy and Johnny the executive chef for the amazing food preparation. Keep up the great work. I will definitely came back again soon.

    Rooms could do with a mini fridge. Bar is a bit expensive. But the rooms are clean and neat. Food is super great. Pool area also clean and beautiful

    Rooms are poorly serviced, heating not working, blocked wash basins. Management keep arms length from dealing with problems, while the poor reception staff do their best to deal with inconvenienced guests.

    This place is full of scammer, i was double charged for my breakfast and they dont want to pay my money back. The manger promised to do an investigation and come back to me but that never happened.

    What a lovely Hotel! Location is perfect for business in Fourways, Sunning hill, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria with easy access to the Gautrain for Sandton and Rosebank! Rooms are spacious and staff friendly and efficient. Can definately recommend the Anew Hotel in Centurion.

    A great hotel for your travels in the heart of Centurion nearby the train station to get you to the airport quickly so as not to miss that flight. The service is great and the rooms are spacious and have the necessities to make your stay comfortable.

    Hotel is refurbished and all but service stinks. Dirty towel, used soaps in shower, little toilet roll, no tv remote in room. Room service desk has an attitude. It's a shame that the standard is good but service dololo!

    Newly revamped. It is stunning and the food was the best I have had in a long time. Done to perfection. Tge place looks stunning and the staff is friendly yet very professional. Rooms definately upper class. I was very Impressed. Can recommend to anyone

    Stayed on the 4th floor. The service was good,stuff was friendly, enjoyed their breakfast. I think they could improve with their furniture and bathroom,there was some noises coming in when I would switch on 1 of the bathroom lights apart from that ,it was good.

    My stay at ANEW Hotel Centurion was nothing short of spectacular. I had a business trip up to Pretoria and Hatfield, and I'm thrilled I picked ANEW. The rooms and service was exactly as expected/hoped for, but what really made my trip amazing was the exceptional care that the staff took in their jobs and their guests. By the time I left - I knew everyone by name. They absolutely made me feel like royalty, and that made my stay that extra bit more special :-)

    In my previous review I the only negative was that they couldn't find my cellphone charger. Couple of days later received a phone call that they found it and they courier ot to me with no cost to me. Thank you so much!!!

    We called in to ask if they serving the buffet the lady at reception said yes and gave us the price. We drove all the way, got a Tyre issue only to get there, there is no buffet. We called again while in the restaurant she confirmed again there's buffet till we told her there's none. She was not even pologetic. Fine we request for a table of normal menu they tell us not to sit tables are reserved with no signs. We then get another table. We order, food takes very long people are screaming and making a noise inside. Definitely not the place to relax and enjoy a meal. Since we got our food no waiter came to check on us. I asked for Tabasco and they bring a bottle with literally 1 drop inside. They then offered us dessert on the house which we didn't have we just paid out bill and left we were fed up enough already. Not even a toothpick was offered after serving us meat. Our Friday night was ruined we just went home and slept. We promised never to step foot there again. Horrible even the restaurant smells like cooking oil. Was really not impressed by everything there.

    My colleagues and I organised a birthday surprise for my boss which was meant to be in her room before she checked in. We were promised a room drop and an upgrade and we delivered a gift from our team to put in the room. It is most disappointing to find out that she didn't receive any of the above even the gift we bought and delivered. I appreciate that she had a roof over her head over night but I'm not sure how you can mess up a whole planned surprise unless you really have no understanding of personalized service and the concept of going the extra mile or you are not even trying. One of my colleagues went to view the room my boss would be staying in and was unhappy with the cleanliness levels, she was shown another room which she approved but in the end my boss was given the room that hadn't been approved with the dirty couch. Both my colleague and I are former hoteliers and deep down in my heart I still consider myself as one, so we know it's possible to do better. It would have been great if this experience had gone the way it was planned considering that she was spending her birthday away from her family. I'm disappointed and heart broken.

    My arrival time at the Airport was 12:30 but l guess they did not account for the time it would take us to clear and get out of the Airport, so when l eventually got out about 45mins after arrival, the shuttle had gone. l called and they said the driver would be back but it would take time, so l could get on the Gautrain and they would pick me up at the station, however, l decided to Uber. The staff is friendly and the service was good. However, there were no bottles of drinking water in the room, apparently l was supposed to call reception and ask for them. l loved the proximity to the Centurion Mall for my convenience.

    I arrived with a booking confirmation voucher and they said the hotel was fully booked and I have not been allocated a room. Stood at reception for over an hour when they continuously told me that they have my booking record but unfortunately they are fully booked and security wanted to escort me out of the hotel at 1am

    We did stay at the hotel and required to order for dinner from a menu. The issue was that there were a few dishes on the menu but if you order this, "no stock" if you order that " no stock" It is not acceptable to have a list of dishes on the menu but only 2 or 3 were available to order from.

    The lake had a horrendous smell so we could not spend time outside. The hotel is decorated beautifully but the platters are over priced for what you get. The rooms are clean, well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.

    Many times house keeping staff cleaned my room after 4pm and i had to walk out for them to clean. The classic is when they didnt put towels in the bathroom and i walked out of the shower like a crocodile. Otherwise, good breakfast

    The staff are friendly and try their best to make your stay comfortable. The rooms however are tired and look very sad. The bathrooms need a good makeover, and the grouting between the tiles need to be changed. There was no fridge in my room to keep water cold overnight. From the outside the hotel looks pleasant and acceptable but the rooms are really dated. The STENCH coming off from the Centurion lake makes sitting outside at the pool absolutely unbearable. Not to mention the flies and mosquitoes! Definitely will not be returning.

    During breakfast, Waitresses need to improve their customer Service to Guests, For example: To ask hot water It can take +-10mins or get cold tea. It happened for consecutive days. No monitoring of waitresses or rating. The food is best
