We have not stayed at this hotel. Nevertheless, we attempted the vegetarian restaurant. The cuisine was superior to that of other hotels in Guruvayur belonging to the same category. Therefore, the staff is impolite and unappreciative of non-resident consumers. When the hotel is fully booked, they do not concern about non-resident guests. Therefore, I would advise my family and friends to avoid their restaurants. And advise management to either handle both customers equally or post a sign prohibiting non-residents from using the restaurants.

Stayed in July 2022. Had a good experience. Rooms are quite clean and well maintained. Only cons are uncomfortable mattresses and mosquitoes (even within an AC room without opening windows!). Restaurant is clean. Although the menu is quite extensive, most of the items aren't available when you ask for it. Taste is good. Room service was quite prompt. Food is on the expensive side. Biggest pro of this place is the location. Just a 5min walk from the temple. Would stay again.

Wonderful experience. The rooms are neat and clean. The only problem I faced was mosquito. Hot water was available through out the time. Good location as its walkable distance to the temple. A good vegetarian restaurant is also available in the ground floor. Room service is also excellent.

Extensive cleaning of sofa sets, wall paints etc required. Lot of used marks like vermilion (sindoor) marks on sofa, dirt marks/ lines on sofas and walls etc need an extensive cleaning. Also no online booking facility yet. If trying to book online, it's just sending a query to the hotel reservation team, even till date I have no reply. Had to call by phone to book. While other gokulam group hotels have online booking, this hotel's site seems to be still years behind. However, the staff's courteous behaviour need a special mention. Each and every member of the team was very much coordinative, helpful and swift in response. Any shortcomings if notified was taken care of immediately. Restaurant also is good, having varied varieties of vegetarian cuisine. Also parking space needs to be bigger, in case more than 50% of the rooms are filled with family each having one car per room, then several cars need to be parked hotel outside patking.

Sree Gokulam Vanamala is one of the hotels very near to Guruvayoor Sree Krishna temple. All together this is a good hotel to stay. Difficult to get rooms during festivals. The rooms are good, but they could improve. Check in time is 2 pm. There is a vegetarian restaurant in the ground floor. Room service is also there.

Had a very pleasant stay for 2D/1N here. From outside, it looks a bit old but rooms were good. Staff was polite & courteous. Room service was quick & prompt. Food was very tasty. Restaurant staff also were very good. Parking space is limited in the premises, but I think they have valet parking as well.

I had a very good experience at Shree Gokulam Vanmala. It is situated at a very prime location -close to both the temple and the auditorium. Great location. Few steps to the temple. Clean room. But at the cost we pay , we expect atleast a couple of mineral water bottles in room which wasn't there . Resturant serves good food. And it's very clean.

The most favorable thing about the hotel is its location, which is near the temple. You can reach the entrance to the temple within a few steps. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and supportive. Their vegetarian restaurant is next door to the reception and provides quality food.

This hotel is an old one. However, with some renovations, most modern amenities are available. The location is the most important factor that makes this hotel a coveted place. It is right outside the southern nada, One needs only to walk a few meters to enter the temple premises. The food and hospitality are good: nothing great, but definitely nothing negative. Room service starts at 6 AM which may be an inconvenience for early risers. However, there is an electric kettle and instant coffee & tea bags provided in all rooms.

Very near to temple. Hardly 2mins walk. I stay regularly here. Nowadays i feel rooms are not maintained properly. Restaurant service also not that great. For morning breakfast good options available. Food also tasty.. Lunch not that great.Apart from near to temple nothing to tell.

I have been going to this place since many years but of late not stayed here. We went for breakfast and they have maintained the quality and service also. This place is very close to the temple so very convenient also

We have stayed in many resorts of 5 stars in south india but this was the cleanest of all. Room service straight away. Next to Temple. Nice food. Most importantly clean bathroom.

Only because of the location it's good it's just opposite to the temple and can easily reach but the rooms are not well maintained even not painted should be well maintained atleast do the painting works and will be much better 😂 looks like an old building but the rates are not as cheap as it is

The restaurant serves fresh and tasty South Indian dishes. Their quality of food and service has remained unchanged for 3 decades. Value for money.

A good hotel available in Guruvayur. They have a restaurant also. Food is better compared to other hotels in Guruvayur. Can say good when you take the Guruvayur standards.Pricing maybe a bit high compared to others for food as well as stay. Parking in front of hotel is limited. They have another open parking space within 500 meters from the hotel. The rooms were neat and clean. Staff were also helpful to us when ever I stayed there. You have to book rooms either through their website or calling them directly. This hotel is not listed in any other hotel booking apps. Very near to temple is a plus.

We stayed in the hotel for five days during the ashtami rohini. It was a wonderful experience. The room is comfortable and hot water available 24 hours. The staff were very good with the room service and house keeping. The food served in the restaurant is excellent. The location is great, it's so close to the Guruvayoor temple. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable guruvayoor stay

The ambience and Food is pretty good but their customer service is really bad and pathetic. If we ask for any extra gravy , they won’t provide . As per their rule , they can only provide so and so food which is ridiculous . As a native of Guruvayoor, this is how they were treating us, Imagine How they will treat the outsiders. Well, their staffs should get proper customer service training which is really necessary.

The hotel is not at all well maintained. The washrooms are nothing like the pictures they show and is stinky.The restaurant staff is impolite and disrespectful. The rooms are not worth the money they ask for. Only advantage is that the temple is nearby.

Came here for the restaurant. Amazing food, service and ambience among restaurants in Guruvayoor. Food is not overpriced and top notch cleanliness.

2nd time visit to the same restaurant, yes the fod was good, but didn't even cleaned the tables for 10 minutes, had to wait very long... Even they served the food on top of unclean mats where food was spilled over earlier. And have watched putting wastes on the glass of water instead of solied plates while cleaning... Hygiene needs to be improved like hell...

I used to visit this hotel restuarant whenever i visited lord guruvayurappan. But this time on 11th Dec 2022, their restuarant service and food are utter failure. The chutney and their sambar were taken out from fridge. more over the ghee rost 3 nos ordered were of non tasty and of low standards. The coffee served was of poor quality and watery.The waiter and the supervisor both were not customer friendly. We 5 people had to wait almost 35 minutes fof starter tomotoe soup. Another 25 minutes for pulav, paneer masala,and chappathi. Another 5 age old people on the next table waitedalmost 45 minutes to their food to reach their table. The waiter uttered nonsenses. The are not willing to serve hot water at all. So fellow devotees donot got to vanamala restuarant for dine. You have other choices in guruvayur. finally we paid 1350 for 5 peoples dine. Too costly affair.

Rooms and the indoor restaurant are very neat and clean. The reception staff, service boys and the security people are polite and well behaved. It's close to south nada of the temple. The only negative i found is the parking space in front of the hotel is limited to maximum 10 cars. Don't know whether they have a separate parking space. Overall , very good experience.

Almost like next door to temple. Food is good. Restaurant at the ground floor.limited parking space but security will help. Found a fly in the snacks, rest all were good. Hope its a one off incident

Despite being an old hotel this place is exceptionally well maintained. The staff were extremely polite and service in rooms was excellent. Food at their restaurant was also good. They also have a parking place nearby which they allowed us to use before checking in. This was really useful as we were able to visit the temple and didn't get a parking spot in Guruvayoor due to all parking spaces which were full as we arrived on a Sunday morning. Will recommend this place to all coming to Guruvayur.

The room wasn't well maintained. A few lights weren't working. Mosquitoes in the room. Hard water from the tap. Stained bed sheets, pillow covers and quilts. Curtains that were never washed? Dirty chairs. I'm giving a rating of two only because the bell boy and security staff were very courteous and, room service was quick.
