Well decorated park. Here you will see lots of blooming lotus in a small water body beside the greyish coloured hut.

Really green and clean garden to visit if you're visiting Dakshineswar temple. There are 5 big 'Vat' trees and other several herbal plants in the park, having soothing ambience. Spectacular view of river is another advantage.

To the North of Bakul Tala is a wide open space called the Panchabati and to its south in later years under Sri Ramkrishna’s guidance, 5 trees Banyan, Peepal, Neem, Amlaki and Woodapple trees were planted. Soil from the ‘Radha Kund’ and ‘Shyam Kund’ of Vrindavan was brought here to plant these trees. It is in Panchbati Sri ramkrishna spent 12 years of sadhana. Under the tutelage of Sri Totapuri he took sanyas according to vedantic rites. For the purpose of sadhana a hut was built in Panchabati which was later rebuilt into ‘Shanti Kuthi’. Close to it is a Shiv temple with a Shiv linga where puja is performed everyday.

It is such a huge park. The temple garden stands directly on the east bank of the Ganges. The northern section of the land and a portion to the east contain an orchard, flower gardens, and two small reservoirs. The southern section is paved with brick and mortar. The visitor arriving by boat ascends the steps of an imposing bathing-ghat which leads to the chandni, a roofed terrace, on either side of which stand in a row six temples of Siva. East of the terrace and the Siva temples is a large court, paved, rectangular in shape, and running north and south.

This park is adjacent to the Dakshineswar Kali Temple and presents a sight of peace and tranquility amidst the otherwise crowded temple complex. Previously it used to be much more open and accessible but now only portions of the park can be entered due to restrictions laid down for crowd management. Entry to this spot is free and is located right on the banks of the river.

The park is very next to Dakshineshwar Kali temple. But the surroundings are very dirty. All kind of wastes are dumping in this area.if it maintain well it would be a very good place to relax and refresh on the banks of Ganges.

Thats a park behind Dakshineshwar temple. The big trees are bounded by concrete and that is the sitting area of park. View- The hooghly river. Soothing breeze blowing. A place where someone can take rest after some walk in the temple area. It is not at all a park, it is a sitting area/ resting place.
