Omg one hour walk across all the lanes with Beautiful sight seeing all the corner and once u reach the edge...u will loose urself. The view from the top edge will drive u crazy.. It also have a famous name called "Number Parai". Do not forget to visit this place whn you travel to valparai. you will see like you are in universe. The mist will touch you and go often. when the mist touches you.. do not get scared but be at the same place where you stand till it gets cleared. cos the mist place will be of deep valley the other side. Risky for kids. Do not play there. Be cautious. Be at your limits. DO Not drink and play with friends. No risk taking. But enjoy the nature by relaxing and sitting there. Also i heard that some times elephants visit there / at night lepords. So better take local village people for extra support. They know better when animals near us.

It's a steep valley that divides Tamilnadu and Kerala in which idamalayar river flows... Must visit place during monsoon season for wonderful views, where the valley will be fully covered with mist/clouds... Now this place is not opened for tourist but you can visit with help of local estate peoples...

It was my first time visiting this particular place although i have been to malakkaparai before. U can visit here only with local guides in special 4 wheeler jeeps or specific vehicles. It's a beautiful tea estate with a dense forest nearby n a suicide point with so far the best aerial-like valley view. Felt it was better than munnar or kodaikanal suicide points. It's quite risky as it is not modified to be a tourist destination yet. I was lucky to have been able to see a group of wild elephants nearby n that was a check off my bucket list !

It was beautiful to see the nature from Number Parai. The valley was filled with mist. Other side of the valley is Kerala. It can be reached from a private estate. Luckily we got permission with the help of a friend.

Good place.but very far.no proper roads to commute. Only two wheeler can go. Very reserve place . Located interior.. border of Tamilnadu and Kerala...

The path to this place is in a very bad condition. The views from here are really good.

A wonderful view pf valley including tribal home views.. River and en number of waterfalls. Is a natural beauty. Heavenly place in short.
