Great cruise port and very accessible from the ship. Good shops with a variety of goods to buy and a couple of food outlets. You can organise water taxis and normal cabs within the main building. There was a busy smoothie shop which I didn't try but I will next time!

Unlike many other ports in the Caribbean where you must walk endless choppy sidewalks or pay high prices to cabbies or pick ‘em up touristic trucks just to get into town, Basseterre Is instantly accessible with not even a 5 min walk from the pier. Your ship essentially parks in downtown. Yay Boy for that! Fear not and walk right into it.

Touristic shops that are familiar to many of the Western and Eastern Indies ports of call for the cruise ships. A new pier was created just to the north of Port Zante which poses a longer walk to the port, however is well constructed.

Nice shops, shop around for a discount prices vary from location to location. Careful of the monkey guys, They will hand you a monkey and then ask for payment unexpectedly.

Very nice port, make sure to go through the fort then cross over the floating bridge to the shopping area.

This is one of my favourite islands in the Caribbean. Great port loads of shops. With taxes all over. Very easy access to one of the many fabulous beaches ⛱️.

Full of Duty Free shops, jewelry stores, and souvenir vendors. It was very crowded due to the “last lap” celebration to end the holiday season. We did buy some items!

It was an amazing experience! Loved our tour guide and taking a ride around the island. It's the best way to go, for me that is.

Vibrant place with lots of shops in the near area of the port. At the time we visited Saint Kitts it was Carnival season and there was a big parade with costumed dancers.

Good cruise port. Safe port. Lots of local tours available without any crime on tourists. Lots of jewelry stores (of course!!) and a few t-shirt, magnets, alcohol, and other tourist goodies.

Beautiful cruise port in Basseterre St Kitts, We boarded a catamaran from here and sailed to Pinneys Beach in Nevis with a stop along the way to do some snorkeling.

If your on a cruise and looking for a cheeper tour. Go to no rush bar at the port and find Moses. $20 -$25 per person. And get a 2 hour tour plus a beach stop and rum or beer. The driver is very knowledgeable about the island and very friendly.

Very lively place. There are a lot of liquor Stores, so if you are looking for something, shop around. There are Casinos available as well and restaurants. These is also an area where you can buy souvenirs from, eat and drink, without having to worry about safety, too much.

The port is in the process of being reconstructed, but it still very much felt alive (full spirited) and accessible. A lot of shops and restaurants.

There is no beautiful scenery on the whole island, and there are no beautiful beaches. The worst feeling in the entire Caribbean island. An island not recommended.

Not my favorite cruise port by any means. Very much of a cluster when there’s a couple or more ships docked. Tons of people and lots of people just jam packed in various lines waiting for whatever excision they are going on. Pretty standard duty free shop areas and a bar or two. I thought the port felt sort of rundown and dirty. We didn’t enjoy walking around and we ventured out a bit and it got a little seedy so we turned back. I’d recommend probably just going right to your line and moving on.

Excellent shopping. Do not, however, fall prey to the cruel street hawkers who have animals with them for the purposes of tourist photographs. Its a cruel practice and animal welfare doesn't feature at all here.

We LOVED St Kitts! Take the excursion to NEVIS! Make sure you have SMOOTHIE as your tour guy! He is entertaining! He sings! He knows everything about the Island! Also if you are an Alexander Hamilton fan, you can see the home he was born in and lived in until he moved to St Croix at 9 years old.

Beautiful terminal! I really enjoyed it when disembarking from the cruise! A lot of shops, everything was well organized and the locals were really nice! I can’t wait to come back to St. Kitts again!
