We were taken here as part of the south tour. The soup was ok, nothing else was good about my meal, which was severely overpriced, almost three times the price of an average meal elsewhere on the island that isn't a 5 star hotel. We felt scammed as even the restaurant across the street was also overpriced and we were hungry.

Good outlet for vegetarian food. Scenic view. Good ambiance. Prompt service

The vegetarian and chicken lunches were lovely. So good we went back the next day and had it again. They remembered us from they day before and gave us wonderful friendly service and good price. My daughters green hair might have had something to do with it! Highly recommended restaurant.

Loved everything about this place. From the greeting to the food and the scenic view of the mountains and nature. The food was well worth the wait, because it was the best lobster I’ve had in years, so fresh and well-prepared. The grilled king prawns were a delicacy also. I highly recommend this place to anyone who comes to Chamarel and Mauritius, you can not find better food elsewhere on the island. We will come and visit many more times surely.

Friendly service and good food.

The restaurant owners was very friendly and accommodating. The food experience was excellent eating on palm leaves. The curries was tasty 🤤 and the side dishes perfectly complimented the dish.

Absolutely disappointing! We wanted to eat lobster and ordered two big owns (the normal ones on the menu cost 1400 R). We had to wait for 1,5 hours and then the two lobsters we got were dry, without any taste, the worst ones we have ever eaten. The price for these two lobsters which might have been frozen was 4900R!!!! What a shame! We felt been cheated and this was one of the worst experiences we have had on the island.

Food okay, but soup and veggies within “day plate” completely without taste. Price is not worth the size/ quality served. Has a strong taste of tourist trap, nice and friendly service though.
