Stopped by this place on my way to North Carolina for my wedding. The customer service was okay, had better. Cashiers were more into their conversation for several minutes before assisting me. I ordered their pretzel sticks and rotisserie chicken bites basket. They forgot to give me my dipping for my pretzel sticks. One of my slices of bread tasted semi-stale. Not all the chicken bites was edible as their was rubbery parts in it. Fries were actually the second best thing except for the pretzel sticks. Not too salty or greasy, just right. If you're in a pinch and with family that's hungry I'd say go for it. If you can wait a bit longer when traveling then skip this please instead.

Charged us $40 for two chicken tender meals, forgot toast with it, charged us for extra sauce, charged us for drinks and we didn’t even get any

1/10/23 Health Inspection report: DQ Grill & Chill, 807 East Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hand sink in back kitchen doesn’t have paper towels; observed a buildup of pink slime on ice machine shield; observed a buildup of slime on ice machine at drink machines and on drip trays; temperatures of ice cream mix and milk in the lowboy are elevated; did not observe dates on prepped salads, cut tomatoes or gravy; containers and utensils are heavily cracked, which is causing staining or pitting; racks in storage area are rusty; units on front counter and back freezers have torn gaskets; fans in the lowboy are leaking into a drip pan; observed fuzzy mold on racks in walk-in cooler, gaskets of ice cream machine and inside lowboy on front line; several areas need cleaning (inside of units, gaskets, doors on units, standing fan and equipment on cook line); observed pest droppings and other dirt in cabinets under drive-thru; mop sink is leaking; nozzle is hanging into the three-compartment sink; there is low grouting in front counter, around the ice machine and in dish area; coving tiles around wall near drive-thru are missing; caulking is worn around the front hand sink; observed food splatter on walls at drive-thru; fans and ceiling of walk-in are dusty; there is grime/dirt buildup under equipment throughout kitchen.

This location is part of an Exxon gas station. You can walk between inside. So it's not very big but most people are not staying so it works. The service was friendly and quick. The place was clean despite the traffic. The wet walnuts were a generous portion on my chocolate sundae. What a welcome break in our long drive!

This was my first DQ in Virginia and it was a great experience. Good food,customer service and awesome ice cream. I got a $4 Cotton Candy Blizzard and it was really good. Not a bad location either

Nice kids working here. Soda machine filter doesn't work too well, I can taste the chlorinated water they use.

We just stopped for gas and a quick DQ chocolate shake. The 3 young women working tonight 12/20 at 6:50 PM were delightful, pleasant, and incredibly professional. I worked in restaurants for many years and know how tough it is to work a slow night. These ladies were in constant motion doing what needed to be done, and I would like to commend them. It was a tough traffic trip for us, and their smiles helped us recharge. Thank you.

My experience was a great one. The food tasted great. I wish there were enough people to clean up though.

Soft ice cream for the soft spot in my soul! Is been a fav since I can recall. The servers here are super nice, always friendly and the orders are always correct.

This Dairy Queen is tied to a gas station/convenience store. Its small, has only a couple of tables, and a reduced brazier menu. That being said, the staff is extra polite and helpful, the ice cream is delicious as always... And I discovered at my last visit (because it wasn't obvious the last couple of times I visited) is that it does have a drive through. You just have to drive counter clockwise around the building. So that makes it even better a place to get your Dairy Queen fix!

Gave us the wrong burger order of combo fries is child size but ice cream was good.2 combos was 19.00 for that price yall got to do better.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve had. Employees were huddled around talking bad about every customer that was waiting including me and my girlfriend. All I ordered was a large fry and a large cone dipped. And 3 or 4 people huddled around the ice cream machine when it was being made, why is that? Made me feel very weary of my food. My girlfriend was uncomfortable because one employee kept looking at her and then back at another employee over and over(obviously talking about my girlfriend in some fashion). Overall it was an uncomfortable experience and everyone in there is accountable. Will never come back to this Dairy Queen again, maybe not any at all honestly. And I’d give this -10 stars if I could.

Came in at 9:30 and the whole place was a mess. Ordered a blizzard and by the time I was done paying it was being handed to me. It was completely melted and looked as if it half the ingredients were just thrown in it without being touched afterwards. They obviously didn’t care and were trying to just close up. Don’t go there in the evenings

Hi visiting Virginia with my unit for training. Customer service was very unprofessional. Made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcomed. Not sure if it’s cus It was how I was dressed my ethnicity or if it was cus I had headphones on. But good to know this is how visitors are treated from out of state. Very awkward encounter 🤷‍♂️

Consumer beware. Short change artist at the drive through. If you order quarts you'll pay full price and they short you by giving you your ice cream in milkshake cups. Drive on by unless you like being screwed.

Was the only place besides McDonalds to stop for food on 3 exits. Every other place was closed. 5-7 young people working, food came out quick and they were energetic and polite. Burger bun was soggy and smashed, lettuce was basically just a stem, and the fries in the bottom half of the box were cold and soggy. Not a huge fan of DQ food, their desserts are normally all I get.

I'm a door dash driver and I always love taking orderss from here.the manager Qasin always makes sure the orders are made correctly and as quickly as possible, someone promoted that guy to district or something, I wish more young people had this type of work ethic

Stopped for ice cream after going to Ginter Fire show. Had some wonderful vanilla ice cream.

The food is not worth the price. We spent almost 40$ for two kids meal size 4 peice chicken tenders basket and 2 medium blizzards. The blizzards were not even soild when we got them. They were the consistency of a milkshake.

While traveling will not go back here. It's a new store. 1 large Refresher,1 medium frozen coffee, and 2 pumpkin muffins. $18.10 wow!!! Dis have nice staff working drivethru

We go here once or twice a month, the team here is really great and nice and also are fast.

They microwave their food, not made to order you order it and they pop it in the microwave to warm it up and give it to you. Burger does not taste fresh at all, customer service is good. Don't get food here at all. Just get ice cream.

The young man at the counter was awesome super friendly and helped me alot. Will return again when on this side of town. Thank you so much. Wish I knew his name.
