So we stay 3 days for our honey moon. First and foremost lots of many things which shouldn’t be missed in 5 star hotel. 1. Teeth brush was missing , we have to ask for it. 2. TV doesn’t work… we have to call again and ask someone to fix it. 3. Robs wasn’t comfortable, so heavy. 4. My husband injured his private part in bathtub because drain wasn’t work properly( you want to take nice bath 🛀🏿 in 4 seasons for sure ) , IMPORTANT NOTE: it could cost your health issues 5. We were waiting for breakfast in restaurant for more then 40 minutes .. and they even charge us for 2 pieces of bread 🍞.. Yes we have got as an apology bottle of wine later .. but when you have your short honey moon you don’t want be bother for such small misunderstanding in 5 stars hotel. In general stuff was really friendly and supportive but again in 5 star hotel specially they knew you have special occasion, you would have been expected more focus to details. Priceless for nothing !

Gorgeous property in central Montreal. The staff is friendly and professional, remembers your name, and is willing and ready to help with any request. Even during the rush of New Year's Eve they didn't miss a beat. Wishing the pool area had a hot tub but otherwise, this is a fabulous hotel to get to know Montreal. The rooms are ultra comfortable and cozy, and gorgeously lit.

We booked the Four Seasons for a 24 hour trip- the location is great. The experience was the worst I’ve ever had. Upon arrival to the hotel at 2:45pm the front desk explained that our room was not ready because we had arrived 15 minutes before check in began. We understood and sat in the lobby area to wait. After 30 minutes, the concierge asked if we would like a drink on the hotel, to which we asked for an update on the room. She said, “they are in there cleaning now. We were very busy yesterday and so the staff is behind. It will be another 10 minutes.” At 3:45pm, I explained to the concierge that we had a dinner reservation that we would miss if the room was not available soon- the young man called the housekeeper directly, and we were given an estimate of 10 minutes. Our room was not ready until 4:05pm. We were escorted upstairs by the gentleman, and entered what was an underwhelming room. It looked as if it was a rushed clean up job. We left for dinner, and upon return noticed that the room was further cleaned. More towels were added, more pillows, and a few bathroom items- along with a card and fruit tray from the housekeeping manager apologizing for the delay. We were perplexed by the mundane cleaning update as we were aware it was not the evening turndown service. We realized that these items were supposed to be in the room during initial arrival, but because of the rushed job, they were not. We arrived back to the hotel at 11:30pm. At this point the evening turndown service had been completed and there was another plate with chocolates waiting with another apology. The next morning we went to breakfast at Marcus Restaurant in the hotel. The service and food was below average. We watched as many tables around us received the wrong food, and then to no surprise our food was also placed on the wrong table. We ordered avocado toast, chia puddling, steak and eggs, and chicken and waffles. The only item meeting expectations was the chicken and waffles. The avocado toast and chia pudding were lacking flavor. The steak was tough and lacked flavor. We took one bite out of it. We wanted to return it, but were unable to locate our waitress and so it sat on the table. When she arrived and asked to take the plates, my partner replied, “yes, the steak was very tough, we did not enjoy it”- the waitress just looked and walked away. As we waited for the check, tables around us were continuously receiving the wrong food. The experience was lackluster at best. We decided that we no longer wished to be at the hotel, so instead of staying for late checkout we decided to depart at 11:30am. We were greeted and told to wait on the couches until the next person was available. The check out process seemed to be smooth. The woman who completed the check out asked if we had a car, and then realized the car was never charged to the room. She said, “you will have to go down to the S1 level to retrieve your vehicle and pay, I will walk you around the corner to the elevator” then said, “do you have bags?” And just stared as we said “yes.” My partner picked up our bags, and a table tipped over and cracked- we were then told by the manager that we would be liable for the table. We explained that in grabbing our bags with no assistance the table was knocked over, and at no point were we given assistance with the bags (the manager tried to insist that the woman offered assistance)- the manager agreed to look into as we waited 25 mins for our car to be retrieved since the woman sent us to the wrong location to receive the car. Overall the experience was beyond disheartening. We were a set of the few people of color in the hotel. It is hard to feel that this incident was not one of service inequality. We watched countless other people be attended to and treated with respect, which we did not receive. We received a mundane credit for the issues with service, and a liability issue as we were leaving the hotel, all due to a lack of equal service by the staff- no attention was made to make sure our stay was the same as those around us. Never again.

It's always been one of the best hotels in Montreal. From the rooms; the location and more importantly, the staff. They excel in the customer service field and it's truly a pleasure to stay there. Highly recommend many visits and avoid the construction season at all costs!

Amazing! I've never been treated like a king before, friendly, helpful greeters. This place goes above and beyond, every employee and especially managers gave us full attention, they went as far as getting my son a HABS flag for his 1st NHL game. Service top-notch. Literally walk 3 minutes and you are close to great shopping and food, oh not to forget the Bell Centre was a close walk too.

Our three-day honeymoon fell short of the expected five-star experience. Issues arose such as missing toothbrushes, a faulty TV, and uncomfortable robes. A mishap with a malfunctioning bathtub drain led to a minor injury - a health risk at best. Despite the staff's friendliness, a long wait for breakfast and an unexpected charge for bread was disappointing. A compensatory bottle of wine couldn't make up for the overlooked details, especially during such a special occasion.

Montreal location lives up to the brand. Rooms are slick and location is easy access to everything downtown. 1 of 2 elevators was down for the first 48hrs or so of our vist, only slightly inconvenient. The doorman who looks like Eddie Vedder always had a great fit. All of the staff were the typical high level operators you expect from The 4S.

Excellent housekeeping staff, nice central location, hotel adjacent to Montreal’s hi-end shopping mall, and a new hotel with fine room accommodations. Our 7th 4 Seasons property this past year and the only one with below avg service. Very impersonal and rude greeting upon arrival. No one to include the front desk, doorman, or restaurant staff tried to be friendly or even address us by our names. The breakfast service and food at the on-site restaurant is pathetic. Very poorly trained staff. At times we thought the staff was playing a game with us: poured coffee not in a cup but on our table, dropped food in our laps, and argued with us. So bad was the service that on our 3rd day we ordered room service to avoid the restaurant. Fortunately, the food and server both proved to be excellent. However, the room service charge was $1437. When asked about this, the front desk person said “an oversight “. The GM did apologize and credited our bill for the numerous service missteps.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel experience. From the moment we entered we felt well taken care of. The doorman remembered our names the next day, the front desk staff were happy to help my wife practice her french and give helpful recommendations. The rooms are tasteful and elegant. It is a newer Four Seasons property, and it shows. All the amenities you would expect at a luxury hotel. Cannot recommend it enough!

My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal was an extraordinary experience. The blend of modern design, breathtaking views, and impeccable service created an atmosphere of luxury and elegance that exceeded all expectations. The exceptional dining, world-class spa, and warm, professional staff made this stay truly unforgettable. It's an oasis of refined elegance in the heart of the city, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for an exceptional Montreal experience.

I stayed 4 nights at the Four Seasons Montreal, and it was impeccable. The hotel itself is gorgeous with well appointed rooms, and nice amenities, though I do wish they had a hot tub in either the spa or the pool area. Service is where the hotel shines, from delivering any of your wants or needs any time day or night to the front desk ensuring that you are enjoying your stay (Stefan at the front desk is fantastic knowing each guest by name and was a pleasure to talk to). Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal.

I came here to celebrate my recent engagement and I couldn’t have been more impressed. This is my second time staying at this property and it exceeds every aspect of Four Seasons service and quality. We were given two delicious surprise welcome cakes to celebrate the occasion, and while they did make a small error with regards to my allergies, they quickly apologized for the mistake and made sure they did us right. Our dinner at Marcus was delicious. We had their beef special with burrata which was excellent. But the highlight wasn’t the food, or the rooms (which are top notch as always). It was hands down the service they gave us to make us feel special but also to make right for their mistake. The in room dining manger, restaurant manager, and head chef all came over to make sure we were taken care of and personally congratulated us and apologized for the hiccup. Everyone is human and sometimes things get missed. I will admit, allergies are a BIG thing to miss though. That said I can’t envision myself staying at any other property in Montreal. Thank you to the whole team for the service and making things right.

4.5 star hotel. Wanted to give it the full 5 stars, but the lounge is way to noisy, no good place to sit outside your room and enjoy a drink, its like you are a club which is very off brand for a four seasons. If you are looking for a hotel with a quiet lounge or proper bar that isn't a club, then head somewhere else. Other than that, the rooms could be slightly cleaner for a 5 star hotel, and service was great but not impeccable (they forgot some things in our requests). One of the best gyms I've been to as well, with nice fruit and water station, and the right amount of equipment, all high quality. One last thing, when I gave my honest feedback, the property manager sent me an email to hear more of my suggestions, but when offered to call, simply hung up on me and texted me sorry busy. Was really odd and not a good sign of the true service of the hotel. Thought people should know.

Just returned from a wonderful experience at the Four Seasons Montreal. My first time staying at a Four Seasons property and I couldn’t be more happy with my stay. This is truly a 5 star hotel based on their wonderful staff. From Akash and Miguel warmly greeting you at the door, to Neil, Veronica and Stefan assisting with any request that I had at reception. I had a few hiccups with my room and Nicolas the manager of the front office personally reached out to resolve my issue promptly. The whole team was so kind and gracious and made the entire stay one of a kind. I will definitely be back at the Four Seasons the next time I’m in Montreal!

Great 5 star hotel choice in Montreal and exactly what you'd expect from a Four Seasons Hotel. It's of course more expensive then it's competitors, but if you're looking for the extra special experience, it's well worth it. Probably the simplest, but most convenient feature was the tablet that lets you manage your usual room needs without ever having to call or go to the reception, including a nifty Live Chat feature. Like with any hotel, don't expect perfection - there were a couple of issues when I first entered the room, but luckily they fixed it ASAP. Watch out for the entrance though, it's a little confusing - in order to check in you need to walk into the small entryway and then take the first elevators you see to the 3rd floor. The reception is there. If ever you're lost though, you can always just ask any of the staff there and they'll guide you.

We did not stay here but we did go to Marcus which is their bar/restaurant. It's a great vibe at night and Saturday brunch is very nice. If you like good music, nice people.....it's awesome.

The rooms are great like four seasons should be but housekeeping needs to go for training. They simply do not know how to clean . Also no atte tion to detail I'm here trying to get a cup.of coffee of course no cups like no towels replaced . The amenities are nice but in times like these cleaning is crucial and housekeepers around they world understands how important they are for guests. We appreciate them around the world but this hotel needs to send them back for training -1 . My housekeepers would be fired. I thought my grand niece made up the bed

This by far the worst four seasons I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in four seasons all over the world. My wife and I were in Montréal for two nights and booked their highest level room that wasn’t a suite. It was advertised as spacious it was anything but. Carpet was stained, bathroom had one sink and a small vanity. They did not make up the room for the second day. The bar has Heineken and 3 other bottle beers that I had never heard of.. no draft beer….only round bar stools with no back no comfortable seating. Spa offered massages Monday to Thursday not on weekends. Price was over 1000 per night. This is not in the top 10hotels in montreal and is by far the worst 4 seasons I have stayed at

Just leaving after a four night stay at this wonderful hotel. If you're searching for a nice place to stay in Montreal, this is it. The location can't be beat. Hotel sits in the heart of downtown Montreal near many shops and restaurants. The staff is warm and friendly, not pretentious at all. And the rooms are stunning - soft lighting and many little details that make you feel warm and cozy. Room service and housekeeping pay attention to tiny details that make the splurge worth the cost. There is also a fantastic gym with tons of great equipment, and a swimming pool and sauna. Love this place and can't wait to return. Love love!

We have stayed at many five star resorts but this one was very different in a great way. I want to recognize Eric Rager and the entire staff for an amazing experience at this facility. From the time we pulled up to the valet we were welcomed with an incredibly friendly valet staff. The customer service from the group was awesome. Miguel, Henry, Atkash and so many others from the valet staff truly was heartwarming. My kids felt so welcome every time we left and the car was brought to us. Neil and Veronica at the front desk as well as others, and forgive me as I don’t remember all of your names gave us top-notch service. The room service was always delivered with courtesy, timeliness as well as your friendly faces. Thank you Maxime and all of you! One thing about this hotel that separates it from others from my experience is the quality of the mattresses that they use. I wish we could’ve brought them home lol. The location of the facility was awesome. Only a 25 minute walk to old Montreal and centrally located to all of the hustle and bustle that goes on in this beautiful city. Before I end it, I also want to give a shout out to Restaurant and lounge staff. The food was amazing and we always felt like family when we arrived. We have been here once before but this time took advantage of other amenities like the spa, which gave my son then best massage that he could’ve ever asked for for a birthday gift. Again this experience was phenomenal and I want to let the entire staff know that we really appreciated their hospitality and everything they did to make us feel welcome and happy during our stay.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal, and it has undoubtedly become our favorite hotel in the world. The exceptional service began long before our check-in, as Marie-Jeanne, Dimitar, and Vash went above and beyond by providing insightful recommendations and assistance months before our visit. Days before our trip, Dimitar kindly guided us to celebrate my birthday at Portus 360, arranging a last-minute reservation with an impeccable view of Montreal. Throughout our stay, Dimitar and his colleague showcased unwavering helpfulness, making our experience truly delightful. The check-in and check-out processes were seamlessly handled by the courteous and efficient front desk team. Despite a small wait, the comfortable lounge made our brief delay inconsequential. The staff swiftly prepared our room, ensuring it was ready upon our return from lunch. My interactions with the reservation team, particularly Elizabeth and Natalie, were incredibly positive. They promptly attended to all our needs, arranging for a mini fridge in our room at a moment's notice through the diligent efforts of the engineering team. The housekeeping team excelled in their attention to detail, anticipating our needs and adding thoughtful touches to our room, from glass cleaner wipes for our eyeglasses to keeping us hydrated with additional water. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight, complemented by a relaxed atmosphere and impeccable service. The lounge, where the affable David from the front desk ensured our VIP entrance and secured a perfect table, offered a remarkable experience with a fantastic DJ, delightful mocktails, and attentive servers. The doormen, with their warm hospitality and refreshing gestures, epitomized the high standard of service throughout our stay. The spa, though not experienced this time, was accommodating and eager to assist, embodying the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The pool, steam room, and sauna were meticulously maintained, adding to our overall sense of luxury and relaxation. In conclusion, our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal surpassed all expectations. The dedicated team ensured every aspect of our visit was flawless. We eagerly look forward to returning to Montreal and relishing another exceptional stay at the Four Seasons. Highly recommended.

Not one to usually write reviews, in this case I feel compelled to. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I had a minor delay in getting my car from valet, and they had a manager get involved (I believe his name was George) and resolve the issue immediately. I didn't even complain and they went above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction. Great people and extremely well run! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

4 stars for the facilities, beautiful, well maintained, clean, well decorated. Just lacking outlets in the common areas to work from like the lounge. 3 stars because of service. It’s a luxurious and expensive place, yet the service doesn’t measure up. I got a lot of judgment for my very average car when I arrived at Valet, where the staff questioned me and doubted me having a room at the hotel. It was insulting. Then I couldn’t get anyone at night at the valet to bring my car. In the lounge, nobody comes to you to offer food or drinks. You constantly have to search for staff.

Professional and excellent customer service at all levels of their staff. Front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about areas. Helped us with restaurant reservations and provided directions. Also arranged limo to airport. I am very impressed to receive personal attention from Front desk Service Manager with regards to false fire alarm. Thank you to all of you for creating a pleasant stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. Cheers :)

Such a beautiful hotel. Honestly speaking, the only hotel I would stay at in MTL. The vibe in its entirety is unmatched. The staff at Four Seasons has been the absolute best in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at. Top to bottom experience was impeccable. Shout out to everyone there! BTW the hotel scent is super nice - we missed the purchase while we were there but def worth the purchase.

Loved my stay here!! Our room was absolutely beautiful. Hotel is pricey but for a 5 star hotel it’s definitely worth it. Went to the spa and got a massage! Loved the whole experience. Thank you four seasons!!

Fabulous stay! beautiful hotel, and the rooms are even more impeccable! only a few small things that were noticeable, our iPad wasn’t working and had to have tech come in to fix it, and noticed there was no bath salts or anything to enjoy and utilize the tub - had to use the body wash from the shower for some substance. Otherwise A+

Really lovely hotel. The best feature is the ability to connect 2 rooms. We are a party of 6, and they put us in interconnected rooms, great feature for families without needing to book a suite.

I would give this a full 5 stars if it wasn't for the one guy from concierge who made our arrival not so pleasant and one of the servers in the lounge. The rest of the staff members were excellent and welcoming!!!! Miguel from concierge more than made up for the other guy. He deserves a bonus or something. The ladies from the spa are AMAZING! Specifically Marie-Eve and Andreia. 10/10 would recommend the spa to everyone. Get a facial from Marie. The hotel is beautiful so it the ambience and the overall vibe. It smells amazing. I'm going to purchase that scent.

Stayed 1 night at the four seasons montreal, the staff was extremely welcoming , the room was really next level. In my opinion it is the top hotel in montreal right now. The concierge went above ans beyond for us in terms of restaurant bookings, personal shopping experiences etc. The restaurant Marcus also is delightful. The four seasons service, paired with this world class brand new hotel really made our stay a moment to remember

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was wonderful. Devin at Valet was great and remembered our names and was very attentive. Mary was our server in the lounge and she was so nice and pleasant and fun. The staff at the Four Seasons made our stay very enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back.

Delightful as one would expect with the Four Seasons name plate. Vibrant, and full of energy was the lounge at the 3rd floor restaurant, Marcus. The drinks were certainly well constructed and the environment was phenomenal. I did not experience staying at the hotel as of yet.

One of the most beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in North America. This property truly embodies the term God is in the Details. Interior Design and Architecture Attention to the smallest details is impeccable right from the entrance of the hotel lobby, elevator to the corridor of the rooms has an Art Installation. The Oak Chevron hardwood floors of the rooms are perfectly aligned, embedded and joined seamlessly together with the carpet. The use of lighting is prominent throughout the space. And the natural stones on the floors and bathroom counters and shower provide a feeling of calmness. The creative wall paper in the separate toilet with closed doors and the flush mounted on the walls has a useful and easy to use functionally. One of the top reasons why I love staying at Four Seasons properties is because of the implementation of High Technology. The curtains & lightings are all automated by light switches. The view is magnificent and most importantly the price is justified not only for Luxury and comfortable experience but for the safety and security this company believes in to make an extra effort for our & our family’s safety while we travel to different countries. The restaurant Marcus is located on the rooftop. The decor food & cocktails are superb. The Spa has a reflexology hot tub stones and stones floor to walk on to feel calm and relaxing. The staff is mindful, attentive and every so present with special requests. I highly recommend this property for your next Luxury Stylish Getaway! Enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay here thanks to Eric and Helen who helped us with our room and Demitri who has to be the best concierge at an 4Seasons anywhere. Also the breakfast each morning was wonderful and the ambience great. We ended up with a corner room on 10th floor and if you can swing it ask for room 1028. The location is incredible. We walked to the Montreal jazz festival and all over the downtown area. Easy to uber also from their and Miguel helped us continuously with that. The one think I might mention to management is the loud techno music in the common areas. I get that attracts younger people but honestly the clientle is older and the loud music in the Bar, restaurant and lobby would annoy anyone of any age. That aside, we were incredibly pleased with our stay in every way. The beds and pillows and room amenities are also nice and the bottle water or umbrella or whatever you need is all taken care of and well thought through. Thanks for making it a great stay

This review is long overdue. We visited this property the weekend of February 11th, 2022. We were immediately welcomed by the lovely valet team. Check-in couldn’t have gone any smoother and the room was stunning and well appointed, most notably the bathroom which has a huge soaking tub (a plus for any bath lover) and decent sized shower. We completely overlooked that it was the weekend right before Valentines Day and finding a dinner reservation anywhere decent for Saturday night was turning into mission impossible. We texted with the hotel concierge and within minutes they got us a table at one of our top restaurants choices. We were blown away by this and were so grateful! From the hotel design to the incredible staff that work there, this is a place not to be missed when visiting Montreal. We’re looking forward to the next time we can get away for a weekend and stay there and hopefully on that trip try out the spa!

We have been to a few Four Seasons in different cities and countries but only for the restaurant and bars. We stopped for a few drinks and most other locations have high class and romantic bars, the bar here is more of a night club atmosphere and very loud. It is not what we expected given our experience with other location.

Service ok in both the Hotel and restaurant ( Marcus ) but extremely noisy, music from the 3rd floor bar and 5th floor could be heard on the 11th floor. Only 2 elevators, one shut down for VIP who had not yet arrived. Extremely over priced, $8000.00 single room for 4 nights plus parking charges. No response from management after filling out customer survey form. Stayed July 27-30 2022

Fabulous. Lovely room overlooking Mr Cohen on the wall. Great staff very helpful. Only thing I would recommend is get breakfast included as it is eye wateringly expensive but delicious.

Despite the photos and the reviews, this is such an awful place. The prices are sky-high, which is expected for a four season, after all. But the issue is the manager and its staff. Not friendly at all. We waited 50 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order (the place was not crowded at all). After waiting to order, we had to wait an hour and a half to be able to pay. I don't recommend this place at all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. The room itself was top-notch, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The decor was stylish and modern, creating a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. One of the things that stood out to me most about the Four Seasons Hotel was its convenient location. It was within easy walking distance of a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. In addition to the room and location, the Four Seasons Hotel also offers a wide range of amenities and services. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I would give the Four Seasons Hotel a full five stars. It is a must-stay for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable hotel experience in a convenient location.

Beautiful hotel. Very well situated. Not much too look at from the outside but serene and beautiful inside. The restaurant, Marcus has delicious food and a nice, not overly pretentious decor. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Floor to ceiling windows had a view of the Leonard Cohen mural. The bathroom was spacious, modern, had great lighting and a large, deep oval tub. Bed was very comfortable. Location is just steps away from Rue Ste Catherine, the main shopping strip. It's a 20 min walk to the Old City. You can see Monte Royale from the hotel and it's a 5-10 min walk to the base.

Over rated hotel and restaurant. How do you justify charging $90 for filet de Sole, served with way too loud music. Loved the glass curtains, the restrooms and the location very near Wanda stripclub!

The Four Seasons was beautiful, well-kept up, and very thoughtfully designed. Every employee was kind, friendly and helpful. They made my birthday feel special and celebrated. The location was very central and easy to navigate to restaurants, bars, shopping and museums. We didn't need to get in a car the whole trip - which coming from Vermont was a nice change! This was truly a special hotel and experience.

Fantastic experience as usual. Luxurious and tasteful styling. Rooms are quite, despite the busy downtown location. Service is always great. The restaurants mainly focus on seafood, but there are many other restaurant options within a block or two. Easy access of the highway and located between Mt. Royal and historic Old-Montreal.

Great location right downtown, 2 minutes to the Bell Center and everything else you could want downtown! Rooms are updated, view from our 29th floor is stunning! And the bar is wonderful!
