    I brought my cat about a year ago, but as I now look for a new vet and considered going back, I see so many posts about how they are not up front about costs so I will share my experience. I was a new pet owner at the time and my cat was panting on occasion (after exercise and when he is nervous). They considered my cat’s condition to be an emergency so I rushed him to the vet, they performed X-rays and an ultrasound for his lungs, said he probably has a heart problem and less than a year to live, and also said that they have to send the X-rays to a heart specialist to further interpret. This was all pushed on me while I was visibly emotional that my new kitten was potentially very sick or dying. Keep in mind I had also never been to a vet before which they were duly aware of. Everything came back inconclusive. They gave me some antibiotics and worm medication. Then I get a call with a bill of $800. Luckily this is within my means but being my first vet visit ever with a new pet, I was shocked that none of the prices were given up front or during any point of the process. Extremely disappointed with this unprofessional service. I would gladly pay this price every time for my cat’s continued health but they did not even inform me of any of the test’s efficacy or if the conditions they were looking for were even treatable (after some research half of the conditions they wanted to rule out by more blood tests that I held off were not even treatable). TL;DR They just want your money. Not a compassionate place. And my cat is completely fine.

    1.unreasonable charging,consultation for nothing and get paid for100+ 2.unmanaged meeting schedule, call us to come to pick up later we arrived and then told us to come 3 hours later saying it needs rest during workdays. I had to delay my work. 3. asked them to send the receipt via email.and they are either forgot or not want to because of the High charging fees? 4. overall unpleasant experience. you can go somewhere else to save 100+ for each visiting and receive better treating experiences.

    The doctors and staff working here are amazing and your pet will get very good care. I would love to thank Dr. Banon, Dr. Cukierman and all the vet technicians here for the dedication, care, patience and gentleness they put in during the check-ups for my sick cat. My cat has always been given the best care and check-ups. They were friendly, sweet, and took their time to explain what was being done. However, the management is unfair and greedy. I had made an appointment for an ultrasound for my cat here but the appointment date was in 2.5 weeks time. But he was worsening and we couldn't wait that long, so after discussing with my doctor, I was given a referral to the DMV for the US. The sudden decision to take him to the DMV was made, after we passed the 2 week period of free cancellation for the Ultrasound appointment and there was nothing I could do to change that, other than time travelling! Afterwards, when I requested a refund for deposit of $150 for the ultrasound appointment I had originally made here, it was refused saying there was nothing they can do! So I am charged $150 for an ultrasound that is not needed or going to be done anymore. Extremely unfair, greedy and uncaring management that only seeks to make money. Very disappointing because the people who work here are wonderful.

    While the level of care is high, they are extremely expensive, and may frivolously recommend expensive treatments for minor issues. I brought my 2 year old domestic cat in for a check up. I was told he needed dental cleaning and potentially surgical extraction of 2 back molars due to sever plaque and tartar. Very odd for a young cat. They wouldnt quote me an exact price, but implied at least 1000$, and double that if extractions are needed. I booked the dental work, dreading the financial fallout, but chose to get a second opinion. I am glad I did. Another vet clinic assured me the dental work isnt necessary, and even if it was, they gave me a firm quote, at less than half their ball park figure. I understand this is a business, but they clearly prioritize profits over people.

    This a great place. Everyone on the team is very warm and compassionate. Dr. Banon is a great listener. My little one felt very relaxed with her.

    The approach there is more commercial than veterinarian. It’s always a stressful experience for my dog, we weren’t able to rely on them for important diagnosis but had to go to Rive Sud Emergency to have a competent vet. They charge unnecessary fees and recommendation is more based on money making than objective and scientific consideration, it’s really unethical. Changed vet, we’ll only go there to buy food, as the commerce they actually are.

    Nothing is more important to me than my dog, Tango. He was recently sick and I brought him to this vet. I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff and the doctor (Dre Krivak) was amazing! She truly cared for my dog. This will now become my full time vet.

    The care we got when they not only took us after-hours during an emergency, but also the time they gave us with our 18 year old cat passing away post that emergency consult, was stellar. I even got a hand written sympathy card from the workers sent by mail that put me to tears. My Mishou had been to almost every Vet on the island and off island and only in her passing (due to negligence on the part of Centre Veterinaire de Laval) did she receive the most compassionate care. I have never been spoken to with such kindness and professionalism at any other vet. Months later, we have given a home to a kitten and have received nothing but flexibility and kind care from both front desk workers and vets. Our little Sora will have Passionimo Westmount as her primary from here forward. If you are looking for a vet, stop looking here - these aren’t just workers with jobs, they are actual human beings who are stellar at what they do. A very heartfelt thank you to everyone at this establishment for the care of our beloved Mishou 🖤

    We were so lucky to be taken in short notice, even though they aren't our usual vet. The staff was incredibly patient and nice, gave us options as to not have us overpay fees, and gave us recommendations. The prices were reasonable even though I'd pay anything for our cat! They are also very attentive on the phone. Overall, an amazing team of receptionists, techs, and vets!

    This office is full of friendly and knowledgeable staff who answer every single one of my questions with compassion and without being condescending at all. While their services are certainly pricey it's the absolute best I've ever had; they go above and beyond to care for the animals. Certainly not everyone can afford it, but you definitely get the best quality care for the money. I worry for my aging cat and requested a dental cleaning; the staff explained all risks and procedures and also asked for my input and what I accepted to be done in the treatment, such as extractions and what to do if there were complications. They had to do two extractions after all, calling me twice throughout to update me and put my mind at ease, and then sent me pictures by email of the whole procedure and of my cat waking up. I'm very thankful and could not ask for a better service!

    A great center, with supportive staff and vet. My cat had an emergency and although it was at the middle of Christmas holidays I could quickly get reservation. The same day I tried more than other 8 vets and I could not get any appointments. The service was accurate and on-time. I appreciate their service.

    I can't express my gratitude with the way they have been able to accommodate my cat who Is dealing with urinary issues. They've been very thorough and explain everything fully and help me feel more at ease. It's always hard when your furbaby is in pain and working with them trying to identify the cause of my cats bladder inflammation has been so helpful.

    They prescribed our cat medicine and asked us to come 3 times every few days for a checkup. I have no problem with that, but every checkup costs the same as the full consultation price. And then they prescribed another medicine that cost 50$ saying it's better than the old one they prescribed. So we spent 50$ on the previous medicine for nothing. Quite a scammy behavior imo.

    Their main concern is money, not the animal well being consideration. Wish Westmount had a better, more reliable and ethical vet. Fortunately, there is Vetspress not so far.

    Great overall staff. My cat Winnie was in her end of life, fighting cancer for the last year. Winnie was not peeing and wasn't eating, her current vet wasn't available. Passionimo took her in urgently and treated her infection successfully. A month later took a turn for the worst. I needed to confirm that it was time. Her vet was again not available. Passionimo was able to make time for her even valling a customer to trade places with me so I can get her in faster. They showed me compassion that made the whole process of putting her down much much easier. We put Winnie down at home peacefully. Thank you Passionimo for all your kindness

    This place is now added to our list of best vet weve seen so far in montreal. it is now our top #2. The staff is so nice, helpful, sweet and super dynamic. They have a smile on their faces and not scared to pet your pets without worry. They care about our pets and it show !!!! Sure its expensive but at least you have a diagnosis and all your thousand questions are answered. They take their time to examinate your pet and explain everything to you. Thank you !!!!

    A couple weeks ago I went to get some pill for fleas and ticks. Stop at the boutique upstairs bought a large bag of Benny Bully’s liver treats for dog. I paid 66. + taxes. Yesterday I stop to get food at little bears store , I saw the same bag of treats for 50. I will never go there again. They really take advantage of their clients. ☹️

    A vet clinic dedicated to animal welfare. In the last few years, I had two emergencies that I could not get an appointment from any v t clinic . This vet clinic adjusted their schedule to treat the emergency. Service like this is rare. This vet now treats all my animals. Very helpful and professional front desk. There is a culture of service that I really appreciate. I recommend this Veterinarian without reservation.

    Their medication price is x2~x5 of pharmacy so I recommend just getting the prescription and buy the med somewhere else. I paid $200 for something worth $80. I paid $97.46 for ‘surolan gouttes topique’ which I found to be only $49.5 in pharmacy. ‘Maxidex’ was $49.92. I could’ve got this for $12 in a pet pharmacy. I blame myself for not giving a careful thought. I also wonder why they didn’t give me the option of getting the prescription and buying the med somewhere else. It was very disappointing.

    Following multiple visits and no resolution to my cat's condition I decided to change vets. I paid for several consultations that did not lead to any progress. This went on for weeks. I was never contacted by the vet to ask if the recommendations had rendered any results, instead, I felt communication and urgency to resolve the situation lacked. There were several issues; I learned they had my email and address wrong. Once, they did not prescribe me enough medicine (a mistake they admitted to), and I had to go back once again, mid treatment. When another treatment failed, I was told to request a phone consultation and informed I would be charged. In the end, I feel the vet prioritized profit over care. Worse, I feel my pet stuffered unnecessarily. I respect people who make their livelihood providing care for animals, but it's clear this clinic has prioritized profit. I changed vets and my cat is doing much better.

    Excellent service. They helped my senior car with an overgrown thick nail that was close to his paw pad. They were very professional and understood how to handle a highly anxious cat. Pricing is very fair and the staff cares about my cats well being. Highly recommend.

    The team is extremely caring and professional. They take the time to explain everything they will need to do to help your pet, they keep you updated by calling you every step of the way, and will proactively follow up with you by phone once you bring your pet back home to check on him. I strongly recommend and I am very thankful because they were able to treat my cat that was under a lot of pain. He is all better now :)

    Brought my dog here for the first time today. Had a semi-emergency and the lovely receptionist was able to book me within a few despite their tight schedule. The technician and Dr. Banon were professional and extremely sweet with Bambi. I’m very appreciative of their work !
