I unfortunately got a really bad massage here. Today is my birthday and used a gift card. I asked for a hot stone massage with aroma therapy, and was really disappointed. The therapist started me on my stomach - which was weird. I asked her to please go a little firmer three times, and she did not. I felt as if she didn't want to touch me. She just kept rubbing lotion on me, not touching the muscle at all...sigh :-(. I tried to schedule another massage with another therapist, and they didn't have anyone available after 1p until the end of March...Its January. I am a member, but seriously thinking of canceling.

Incredibly kind and helpful staff. I was able to call and make a gift card purchase for a specific dollar amount instead of being forced to choose a specific service online (since I have no idea what she’ll want to experience and asking her would have ruined the birthday surprise). I received emails quickly after the transaction, and I was able to provide a happy birthday text with the image of the gift card within minutes. [Of course an improvement would be the ability to make an online gift card purchase for any dollar amount instead of only a pre-specified package. This would be a great option for guys who have no idea what girls want.]

UPDATE: The manager reached out to me today and was extremely apologetic. Offered me a discount and was truly making every effort possible to make things right. I don't have an issue with the providers there or the services I received -- but I'll be staying away from any subscription offers! The service providers are great! However, the issue I have had (twice now!) is with the subscription plans they offer. I signed up a few years ago and all was good for the first 6 months or so. Then it seemed like there were a bunch of "conditions" that were applied if I wanted to use the subscription benefits, so I terminated. You think I would have learned my lesson! Fast forward 2+ years. I visit the Meadowmont location and I get sucked in again! My first visit was great! I sign up thinking this time will be different (HA!). They schedule me for another visit. I go today and am charged full price. When I question the subscription I paid for, I'm told that I am one day shy to be able to use it! SERIOUSLY?!?! I'm done! Shame on me!

I’ve been going to this location off and on for 2+ years and haven’t had a bad experience yet! Sometimes booking on the site is wonky, but I’m usually able to call and get something booked in a reasonable time (often I get voicemail first but so long as I leave a detailed message, staff responds within 24 hours and are always helpful). I usually get a deep tissue by Ms. Pil who’s incredibly thorough and skilled, and just had Mr. Mitchell for the first time today and oh my god was it magical. I’m someone that likes a deep massage/manual massage to really release tension in my muscles and the therapists here are not afraid to give you that if you want it! I recommend this location to all my friends.

Shona gave me the most wonderful facial! So relaxing and peaceful. My skin looked incredible afterwards. Even my husband commented on how wonderful my skin looked. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back.

I've been a member of Hand and Stone for a year and love the convenience of being able to choose from any of their locations. I also like the option of being able to gift my sessions to others for a nominal transfer fee.

April gives a great massage. I became a member in April 2022 and return once a month. My neck and back are grateful. 👍👍 Updated: Since my first review, I continue to be pleased with every visit to this location. The front desk staff is always very friendly. I’ve had a great massages from April and a wonderful facial from Maveline. Today I had an incredible massage and facial with Rebekah! Highly recommend!

I booked a facial with detox and foot treatment yesterday at the meadowmont village location. I arrived and was checked in and was taken back to a room. The lady told me she did not do feet to pick something else. She listed 2 other services so I did scalp massage. The scalp massage involved her soaking my head in peppermint smell that was sickening and petting my head not massaging at all. She did not extract any pimples. She said they didn’t look like pus. I went home and popped quite a few so untrue. The facial involved her putting 100 layers of cream on my face and calling it a day. When I got in the shower that night my face literally melted off. This experience was $200 and truly was not worth $25. I also called the location 4 times today to speak with a manger and not once has anyone picked up the phone or called me back

I have been getting facials by Annie and she is the very best. My skin is so smooth and at 71 I need that
