I was very exited to celebrate my birthday at the Osteria, Suddenly It was very disappointing. The service felt like they were just bringing plates, No engagement at all even though when I made the reservation they asked if it was an special occasion. I found a hair on my drink and after they change it no one made any comment about it. The menus were very badly printed we couldn’t read properly, not the experience I was expecting. Im doing this review hoping they get the chance to improve since their food and drinks were wonderful.

Overall a great experience and would come back again but just for appetizers and pasta dishes. Focaccia and meatballs were perfect for apps. The pasta was perfectly cooked and a good portion. The ribeye was over cooked but very flavorful (wanted a medium rare and got a medium/well). The swordfish was very nicely cooked but the sauce was very acidic (olives, capers, tomatoes) and the farro was submerged with the sauce, barely any eggplant. Was not able to finish that dish. I was excited about the tiramisu but it was frozen and thawed and just not a fan of that since the consistency was off.

The atmosphere, food, and service were outstanding! The Burrata Salad was one of the best I've ever had and the pasta is made fresh every day which makes a huge difference. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I will be back, a must-try if you're in Chapel Hill.

Decided to go here after seeing the head chef on Beat Bobby Flay, and it didn’t disappoint! Food was delicious and the service was incredible. Staff is very friendly. My family and I will be back!

Osteria Georgi is a must visit. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your mouth tenderness that was enhanced by the rich and flavorful sauce. The cheese with apricot sauce was a delightful surprise, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with cool art and interior ceiling designs making it a truly memorable dining experience. S/O to the Chef who made my steak.

We dined in today for lunch at Osteria Georgi and it was one of the most amazing experience I've had in a very long time since pandemic. The restaurant cleaningness was the first time you noticed walking through the door, follow by they're amazing sanitation score. The decor is elegant, upscale and tastefully put together. We were greeted right away upon our arrival and seated the waitress was appropriately dressed and was extremely professional and helpful. She made great suggestions and paid attention throughout our lunch. We never once felt rushed, we ordered and appetizers, the Italian panini and the cacio e pepe bucatini, she asked which entree we wanted first and proceeded to put our order in. The appetizer arrived within appropriate time and it was delicious ( we order the meat and cheese appetizer). Once we were fully finished she took our plates away and the panini arrived the presentation was phenomenal and the flavors were well balanced with the perfect amount of meats and cheese, (I felt like I was right back home in Italy) in the meantime the bucatini come out and the waitress come apologizing that the entree come out Soo quickly and took it back in the kitchen as that dish is better served hot as you are ready to eat it and not sit to get cold as it can clump. Once we finished our panini the Cacio & Pepe was served and it was AMAZING, was hot was saucy and cheesy. Of course my daughter couldn't leave without trying at least one dessert, we settle on the crostata alla pesca con gelato and it was perfection. The menu is appropriately prices for the quality and the service, I cannot wait to return for dinner with my husband for date night. I would raccomand this restaurant to anyone looking for great service and amazing food.

Had the absolute best time here tonight!! Noor was INCREDIBLE - so attentive, made great recommendations (you need to get the appletini and save room for the espresso martini), and was just so cool and fun!! Seriously request him as your server, he made our night the best!! Also, we were accidentally there past closing and felt so horrible terrible and he was so kind and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. We all loved our meals, and the apps were all great too. Definitely going to dream about the bucatini and the burrata!! Will be looking for an excuse to come back ASAP :)

Visited Osteria randomly with no reservation on a Friday night at 6:30 and they sat us very fast, very surprising. Didn’t know what to expect as this was our first time here and let me tell you, this place was awesome! Service was excellent, we had Noor as our server and he was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended us a bottle of wine as the wine menu is a little overwhelming, and it was one of the best bottles of wine we’ve ever had. Food was fantastic from apps to dinner to desert and the lemon ricotta cheesecake was some of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Paired it with an expresso martini to finish off the night and it was so delicious. Overall this place is great and will be back, would recommend anyone try this place if you like an experience when you’re dining.
