Listen, you know what you get when you choose to stay at motels so this review is not at all about the condition or quality of the room or building. However, after an abysmal experience at the Red Roof Inn which left my poor mother in tears, I walked in to the lobby to talk to Matt. He was so kind and listened to the crazy story about the assistant manager at RRI on a power trip that threatened to call the police on me and my mom for having dogs at a dog-friendly hotel. Matt was so incredibly kind and told us they allowed for two dogs in one room with a small pet fee and got us a room right near the elevator so our older pup could have an easy trip upstairs. He went out of his way to ensure we were okay and felt safe at his motel. Overall amazing customer service from Matt the night before Xmas Eve - a true diamond in the rough and cannot say enough positive things about Matt's demeanor and presence! This chain should be very proud to employ Matt as he handles customer experience issues that most 3-5 star hotels couldn't even fathom with composure and grace. Thanks again, Matt! You really helped to turn our night around!

If you like roaches. (Roach wasn’t dead yet) see pic, water damaged floors, old towels, broken lamps, broken towel racks, broken AC vents,dirty walls, uncomfortable beds, cold showers, and an exit ramp off the back door this is the place for you. Not worth more than $25 a night.

Terrible motel. The room smelled like cigarettes and drug residue and gave my husband an asthma attack. Next day he drove around, feeling better going about the city and then once back in hotel room asthma attack again. He asked for a different room and it smelled just as bad. Apparently the locals call this place the “drug motel” Room was remodeled and fancy new tile shower and no bed bugs but it smelled awful. If you have asthma or sensitive to smells definitely don’t stay here.

New remodeled rooms from top to bottom. Excellent new ownership and management. Clean, modern, and fresh. New floors, walls, and beds. Bathroom area completely remodeled and updated.

The room itself seemed to be updated some. No tissues. No ash trays. Bathroom bad- no vent cover in bathroom and was so nasty. Stuff up the walls and showers need to see some tilex. To top it off I got charged 3 times!!! They stated they refunded me the first time they double charged me, and nope, they were both taken out of my account. Supposed to be 73.26 turns to 146.46 out of my account! Called them and they said they were sorry for their mistake that they refunded me, to give it a few days and then today I got changed again and another charge went out of my account 3!! Times totalling a amount of 219.69 for a 73 dollar room. Calling they said that the todays second charge fee was deducted because it showed the first time they refunded me for the 2!! Times that they charged me that it showed me not paying so they charged me again when I got NO REFUND for the first charge! They blamed it on my bank. Needless to say I had to deny the charges with my bank and they are filing a claim against the hotel and I will never stay at a super 8 again!

I have been staying at this hotel when I come through this area for at least 10 years. Last time I stayed here which was in October there was bed bugs. I have always stayed here with my pets with no problem. well tonight I decided to give this place a try again so I stopped and they tell me no only the little dog is ok and not the cat, that they have new owners and then they want to charge me a fee on top of it. I would never stay here ever again. It's always been budget-friendly but it's always been a trashy place and this time did it in for them with me. Never again....smh

The staff was super nice. They are renovating, and renovated rooms are clean and nice. The drapes were missing a couple of hooks
