Felt lIke I was sleeping in a crackhouse mold in bathroom mysterious plywood on wall more the likely covering a hole carpet was filthy a shampooer couldnt fix it and the smell was awful had to go buy a bunch of lysol

Reelz nice place. I be stayin der for 3 months fo works. My room havin a bed, tv, sink, and shower. Enjoyed free waffles in the morning and my female friend at night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! READ BELOW!! Don't ever go to this place, do a simple check for 2 way mirrors and you'll find one facing the bed. At least that's how it is for sure in room 6. Goodluck and please check it before you stay. YouTube will give you an easy test and it works because the one by the sink that wouldn't have a view of the bed passes the test.. it's disgusting what kind of people exist today...

Words can't describe .Can't believe that place is even able to be rented out for guests to stay in. Called cab and asked them to take me and my friend to sunset motel. Figured it was just a little outside of Charleston. Everywhere else was booked due to a train derailment and the railroad companies needing the rooms everywhere close. We check in and sign by window says no refunds. She said the total for one night was 65 dollars or 68 can't remember. Anyways go to room and it was scary. The door didn't have anything to lock but a chain. These rooms were ancient looked like we had stepped decades out of time but was completely disgusting, dirty and nasty. The bed was on the floor with no frame. The bathroom was so disgusting that I couldn't even sit on the toilet. Me and my friend were in shock. So we looked up motels and hotels in other areas close by. Found a super 8 in Dunbar so we called them. Thank God they had a room because we couldn't stay there it was horrible. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. I mean it was worse place I've been and had not even been there an hour. No way anyone can say this place has anything good to offer. The cab company came back to get us and they apologized and didn't want to be rude and wanted to tell us what we were getting into but didn't know if we had ever stayed there and didn't want to offend us. So we checked in at Dunbar super 8 and it was only a couple dollars more. A mansion compared to sunset. I would have honestly felt better sleeping in a tent than sunset motel. Like I said I don't know how that place is even open to public .Should be condemned.

60 bucks but ring your own blankets and some smell good spay.

Stayed here some years ago, but at the time we had the last room on the right on the second story. The steel door was bent and did not close all the way, so you could see outside even when closed. Wouldn't lock either; had to use a chair to prevent intruders. The room was tired and shabby, and the closest place to eat was miles away at a shopping center. It was my own fault we ended up here; I hadn't made advanced reservations for some place in Charleston. It was pretty cheap for the night; I'll give it that much. At that time it was about the only place on the road and I swear I heard banjos playing the theme song from "Deliverance" when we walked out and down the stairs the next morning. It's one of those motels where once you stay there you'll never forget it.

Trash and over priced!!!! Burn holes all in the carpet, light fixtures missing off the walls pieces of wood over sheetrock

It was honestly the most horrible room I've ever seen!! I had to pull over to sleep so it was last resort! 4 locks on the inside of door!!! Bathroom was disgusting....I checked for bugs...luckily didn't see any kind....but I was outta there by 8 am....see ya!!!!
