Great place to walk, bring your dog, stroll or just pick a spot and read or have a picnic. Views of the ocean, sidewalks everywhere. I highly recommend if you have some free time in Charleston

When I first came to Charleston 30 years ago this was one of the first places that I got to walk through. We live in Mount Pleasant now and we’re fortunate enough to get down here for a staycation and I grabbed y’all a few photos. Definitely a place to visit along with the other thousands of tourists that come through here.

If you don’t have a lot of money, and you need something to do, pack a basket lunch grab a blanket and good book to spend the day at Whitr Point Garden on the Charleston battery. And on the weekends, you’re guaranteed to catch a beautiful wedding ceremony or wedding party getting their portraits done. There’s also passing sail boats and beautiful sunrise and sunset. There’s no public restroom but a 15 minute brisk walk to waterfront Park and there is a bathroom there. There is however free two hour parking on the streets around the park

Beautiful garden! Very peaceful place for you to just chill and relax. There are historical statues you can view and appreciate. It is next to the battery as well for you to enjoy the ocean.

Nice park where the rivers meet. Lots of trees with bending branches. Close to some points of Charleston.

In March white point Garden is covered with lots of flowers and blooming trees. This garden in park is very stunning to walk around and take photos. It is right off of the water and you get a beautiful view of sunrise or the sunset. It is family friendly with easy, parking parallel parking along the curb. Definitely a beautiful place to visit.

❤️❤️❤️ if you have never been to the battery in downtown Charleston you really need to go! The view of the harbor is amazing! The Live Oak trees draping over the park is beautiful. Great photo opportunities at White Point Garden. If you need more ideas for your Charleston visit, message me. I’d be happy to give some suggestions😊

First time I came here was in 1998, I totally forgot about that trip. Glad I was able to see it again. Very well maintained. Beautiful scenery and peace here. Crazy to think what used to be there and what took place though.

Beautiful walk amongst the akimbo limbs of the surrounding trees. Spanish moss hanging from the trees, a light ocean breeze, and the sound of the waves makes for a peaceful walk in this little park at the Southern most tip of downtown. A top 5 visit location while in town it allows you to immerse yourself in the history of the site.

If you're a runner, the waterfront along this park is the place to be. It's gorgeous at sunset with plenty of sidewalk space to get in your miles by the water and through historic parts of Charleston like rainbow row. This is easily in the top five most beautiful runs I've ever done. Go at sunset.

Picturesque and essential Charleston. White Point Garden has spreading oaks and simple serene views of Charleston houses and the waterfront. Ample free parking (as soon as they're done with the construction) that gives you a good cheap base camp for a day on the peninsula. Watch out for Sundays, where you'll reliably see some drama around a Rebel Flag, but other than that this is your spot.

A beautifully landscaped old park in Downtown Charleston. SC. Opposite the park is the ocean. The homes along the park and just beyond are stunning.

Down along the battery, this park offers lovely views. It's wooded with beautiful old oaks that provide shade, and also serve as a rookery. A nice stroll, especially on a hot day.

White Point Garden is a must-stop when visiting Charleston. Take King Street south, and it runs right into White Point Garden. Take a few moments and take in all the history. And make sure you loop around to Waterfront Park and wade in the pineapple fountain.

Amazing and beautiful!! Quite the site and place to be right on the water with all the historic Victorian homes. A very interesting and unique place... gorgeous park...a lot of eye candy looking out on the water and reading about the incredible history of the spot. Highly recommended.

A lovely shady park that is perfected to sit and relax for a while. I saw a lady bring her own hammock, and that’s a great idea. There are many strange sounding birds. I later learned that these were Night Herons, but they sound like dogs barking. There are many Night Heron nests in the trees and they are probably the biggest birds I’ve ever seen outside of a zoo. A couple of benches were covered in bird poop :( and while on the topic, beware falling bird poop while walking under the big beautiful trees

Nice little park with beautiful paths. We arrived early and were able to park right on Murray Blvd. Great views of the water and easy walking distance to pretty much every other site in historic Charleston.
