For your first trip into Charleston I highly recommend taking the nightly ghost tour. 👻 On the tour you will learn the rich and somewhat disturbing history of many spooky occurrences that have taken place in downtown Charleston! I am sure that all the tour guides are great, but Randy is the exception! When your on his tour you will realize that he speaks from the heart and he truly ❤️ loves his job. My family and I enjoyed his tour. Thank you Randy for making our first experience a GREAT one! Definitely worth the trip all the way from NJ.

Our ghost and graveyards tour was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations. Lexi was a delight and full of great stories/history. We almost didn’t make it in time for the last tour of the night and we are SO glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip to Charleston. Our only regret was not doing it sooner, if we would have known how fun it was going to be, we may have booked more tours with bulldog during our stay. Next time for sure! Awesome job, Lexi.

Daytime garden tour recommended by a local. So happy we chose that. Lovely. Charming. So informative. Easy walk through streets that you won’t experience with the carriages or walking solo. Countless popular spots and stories. Stops at the Waterfront as well. You really get a feel for the ethos of the town and appreciation of its history , preservation, architecture , etc etc. Guide Diane was spectacular but I heard all of them are amazing. Great photo ops.

We had our tour with Sarah. Sarah did a wonderful job explaining rooms and telling the stories of the ghosts. I could feel the difference in energy as soon as I step foot in the jail. I recommend to ground yourself before you go, bring a protective crystal with you and have some sage for when you return to your car or hotel.

Our guide Jack Kelly was great at explaining the history of the Yorktown. We really enjoyed the ship tour without the crowd of usual visitors (after hours). The ship itself is quite scary to begin with so the ghost tour really just elevates the eeriness of it. We actually enjoyed hearing about the history of the ship more than the ghost story 😅

Saturday, November 25th four of us went on an evening tour with Sara(h). She was very knowledgeable and shared lots of stories from the past. The tour was spooky but not scary at all. There were 3 kids on our tour. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Our tour with Keith was most excellent! This has to be the best thing that we have done so far in Charleston and we have done a lot! Keith was so animated and his stories kept us entertained as we covered a vast distance. His personal paranormal experiences were also interesting to hear! We did not take the VIP tour because we believe in ghosts, but it made for superb entertainment and our downtown walks are now filled with reminders of the stores we heard. If you come to Charleston make sure you take the VIP Ghost Tour and ask for Keith! Excellent to every degree!

This USS Yorktown tour in Charleston, SC was so awesome!!! The carrier in itself was pretty amazing…such a wealth of knowledge in one location. You gain a better understanding of just what the service men experienced when being able to take and hear the stories of the past. Oh and yes! We did the 10pm ghost tour and we did have some paranormal things happen here and there. Our guide Justin was outstanding! He was informative, professional, and enthusiastic with the things that occurred. We hope to return to the USS Yorktown in the future and also tour the Laffey.
