Absolutely beautiful area in downtown Charleston! This is definitely one of my favorite vacation spots. There is no way to take a bad picture down here! Beautiful homes, beautiful streets, beautiful ornamental gates, beautiful plants.....just BEAUTIFUL!

Really pretty pastel houses. Great for Instagram. Not much immediately there, but some restaurants, bars, and cafes within walking distance.

Great area for an early morning walk, before the summer heat drags you down, and the selfie crowds get annoying. I love peering in at the gated courtyards and admiring the beautiful, historic façades and gorgeous window boxes.

The rainbow row homes are a cool place to visit and grab some photos. Access was free and easy, just park on the street and grab a photo. It's a unique part of the city and worth a quick visit.

One of a kind history place in downtown Charleston. Vibrant and colorful buildings are matched only by the abundance of unique visitors to this area.

Why? Because it looks different every time I come. The season, the color of cars out front, the shadows and the vibrancy. It's always well kept and shows so much pride. And it's free y'all.

There is nothing too exciting about this, a row of houses with pastel colors. Yes it’s pretty to look at but I wouldn’t go out of your way to come here. It is a historical landmark and used to be a center of commerce.

This was one of our many stops over the weekend. The colorfully picked colors along the street made each one stand out on its own. Driving through this area is a real challenge. To see the design, color, the vegetation, and actually MEET AND GREET people is worth the walking tour! Just try a block, you might enjoy yourself!

If you like colors then this is the cool spot to take picture, otherwise this row looks exactly as in the photos, this is a busy street and middle of traffic, tourists take pictures. If you are staying then a morning walk will be fun here through waterfront park. Free to see, but hard to get a parking near by this row.

There are only a couple colorful houses but it is right on a park on the water where you can sit andxwatch tha sailboats. The pineapple fountain and city gallery are just down the path.

Beautiful buildings and plenty of architecture in this area to marvel over. However, the parking can be slightly annoying depending on the day and time of trying to be in the area.

Charleston boasts a captivating street worth exploring! Consider adding it to your must-see list. The area is bustling, filled with both traffic and eager individuals capturing moments in front of these charming homes.

Difficult to photograph the entire row. Fun to walk the area to ad.ire the colorful architecture. Did a horse draw carriage later in the day and gained more insight to history of area.

Not as exciting as people make it out to be. We spent an hour walking other streets that had much more beautiful homes and some were just as colorful as rainbow row. There’s lots of young women just there for instagramable photos, it’s on a busy street and there’s a ton of cars in front of the homes.

To get decent parking you must arrive early, before noon. Wonderful historical architecture and history. The park is nice and relaxing.

A gorgeous spot for a stroll, and of course a photo opp! There are many lovely homes on surrounding streets as well - some colorful, others with unique window boxes and walls of greenery. It's a nice area to stroll through if you have the time and like picturesque homes and scenery.

The walk along Rainbow Row is a must see and do! The historic Georgian homes are so beautiful and it's amazing to see them preserved over the years. There's a plaque explaining the history behind Rainbow Row, and puts into perspective just how old these homes are.

Beautiful pastel colored row houses along E Bay Drive in Charleston. Meticulously maintained garden areas. What an impressive sight!

I went past rainbow row on Charleston hidden alleys tour. The houses themselves are gorgeous and then the architecture and history behind them makes them really interesting.

I just wonder what it is like to live in these homes. How can I get through those gates and hang where the inside people hang? Is there some Charleston hazing that I need to endure to sit in that sweet in between atrium area I know y’all fancy folks have behind those pretty colored walls!! Am I crazy?!
