Is parking very small? Yes! You may not get in it’s true. But I prefer it and will wait the 40 minutes if needed. This is still one of my favorite beaches around. So much treasure hunting. The walk through the path leading to the end is 1.3 miles. We stop off at all the little openings to observe the inlet, dip our feet in, watch the boats, and snap some photos. It’s beautiful. Then we make our way back along the ocean side collecting treasures. It’s a place I love so much. It’s worth the $3 parking fee for sure. End it with a picnic lunch. There are many tables set up with ocean views, just follow either the shaded path and find them along the Oceanside or walk along the beach and there are a few spread out along the shore. The bathrooms are well kept and there is an outdoor shower spray to rinse off. It is also handicap accessible which is wonderful.

Nice beach! Soft sand, lots of small shells and sharks teeth. Good kayak launch on the channel side!

Amazing state park! We read the reviews online prior to going and saw it fills up quickly due to the limited parking space and that was true! We arrived an hour early and waited in line. The parking lot was full by 8:15 and the place opens at 8:00. The beach is a close walk to the parking lot, which is nice because the sand is extremely hot!! The water is a beautiful clear and most importantly, the sharks teeth was ashore in bunches here! There is a restroom, shower, and water bottle station on site as well. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful beach with clear blue water. Lots of shark teeth all over the beach. When snorkeling we found tons of shells. Lots of paths to walk. Many areas of small beaches for fishing or sunning. We kayaked past Stump Beach and had a huge beach all to ourselves.

As a lifetime Floridian, I can say that there are not too many beaches on the west coast of south florida that have walking trails on the beach. It’s a beautiful place to boat, beach, walk, explore.

Stump Pass is my favorite beach in the Englewood area. The parking lot is small so if you don't get there early, you will have to wait to get in. There's a $3 honor system at an unmanned station after you park. You can enter the beach from the pay station or you can continue past the bath house. There you can go right into the beach or continue down a partially shaded path nearly to the end on the beach, to the pass. Many boats park on the Lemon Bay side on the peninsula. There are lots of shells and sharks teeth. Happy hunting! I almost forgot, there's a kayak launch on the left in the middle of the parking lot. Dogs are allowed on the Bayside but not on the beach.

Beautiful beach to find dozens of shark teeth and relax. We saw a manatee on the ocean side. We came by boat and just had the best time here. We saw a large parking lot also and I think there was a nice looking bathroom facility.

Absolutely beautiful! No sign of red tide and water crystal clear. Great for kayaking and for shelling. We found a ton of shark teeth with hardly any effort. There are also gorgeous trails we didn't have a chance to walk. We walked toward the end of key and it was worth it.

Excellent beach with trails. As well as kayaking/paddleboarding on opposite side of the beach with plenty of areas to pull over to rest and relax with small little beaches during low tide. Lots of dolphins and the occasional manatee. Great boating area for water-skiing and tubing.

Definitely worth the stop. Very clean and great paths all the way to the pass. The only problem is the parking, during the busy season its almost impossible to find a spot. I recommend riding your bike. Or ebike.

Gorgeous beach saving lots of turtles! Water was fantastic blue and warm, red tide wasn't even an issue. Loved it more than most beaches!! Tons of cool shells, shark teeth, lots of activity.

Absolutely beautiful park. There is an entrance fee and the trails are pet friendly but not the beaches. Very busy place and parking is hard to find but definately worth the visit but definately recommend bug spray as the mosquitos carry you away. But great for walking, swimming or shelling.

Beautiful beaches and well maintained walking trails. Lots of people bring boats over to spend the day on what feels like a private beach. The restrooms were damaged in the hurricane but portable toilets are available. Parking costs $3 and can be challenging on the weekends

Beaches are amazing. Gulf coast sunsets are spectacular. Arrive early to get a spot. Once lot is full, you options are limited. Restrooms are available and there is a nice nature trail that allows you to access both the beach and Lemon Bay. Parking is only $3 per carload..

Beautiful rustic beach with sand dunes, crystal clear waters, sea shells and shark teeth to find. Absolutely beautiful! It's a $3 fee to enter and we'll worth every dollar.

Very beautiful and peaceful place . You can walk 1.3 miles one way. You can see a lot of native trees and flowers. Also, you can fish , swim, hike, look for shells and sunbathe. But, very limited parking. We were waiting for parking spot at least 40mins.

Great place! We were there for the first time on Sunday and had an awesome time looking for shark teeth and shells. The park attendant was so nice! When we asked, she kindly gave us some tips on how to find shark teeth. Thank you for the great experience! 😊

One of my favorite beaches in all of Florida. Natural beauty and beautiful water. Great for long walks.

We came here in the afternoon on a Saturday. The parking lot was quite full, but a few spots were available at that time. On this trip we stopped at a few beaches, but this was the only one where we found sharks teeth. Altogether we found around 30. Very fun, clean, pretty, and the small parking lot naturally keeps the crowds low.

Beautiful beach with lots of shells. Water was a little rough when we went and a lot of the shell were broken. Also the nature trail was closed, so we were unable to go all the way to the end.

We just love the serene wooded trails to the remote beaches! This is our go-to park for the best natural beach experience in the area! We always find shark teeth and see plenty of wildlife at Stump Pass. It's like having our own private beach.

It's inexpensive, just $3 to park on the honor system. Lots of people, not the best parking though. There's a nature trail, bathrooms, outdoor shower and spigot if you need to rinse. No lifeguard, but plenty of friendly people to help out if needed. I like this spot very much!

Beautiful beach. Proposed to my soon to be wife here. A very large beach with not a lot of parking.

Beautiful park, great place to launch a kayak. If you plan on paddling through the pass be aware of the tide and when it changes. The pass becomes a swift river with each tide change.

Wow...what a gem. Lived here for 20 years and have never been here. Never knew this existed Was very surprised to see such a stretch of beach so secluded and private Beautiful trail also between the beach and the inlet Could not suggest more for anyone to check this out... much different than the usual beaches you will see in the area

This popular, family friendly beach is hard to beat. Parking is limited. This means the beach isn't too crowded but it also means a spit is not guaranteed. The $3 per car fee is collected via an envelope at the entrance with a perforated stub to be left in the vehicle. The beach is loaded with shells, sharks teeth, and other treasures of the sea.

Rented a pontoon for the day and stopped to visit this amazing island. The water was crystal clear that day. Nothing better then the sand between your toes

We were here on 10/17/21 and it was a gorgeous day as you can see by the photos. These beaches are world famous for shelling and shark teeth hunting. What we found was a beach full of RED TIDE kills…dead fish, eels, etc. Did you know… red tide creates a toxic atmosphere that kills the fish in the water, but also, toxins into the air we breathe as well? I had a reaction to this in the form of an asthma attack. It is not a good idea to be or swim where dead fish are seen on the beach, particularly if you have any kind of respiratory issues. Nature gets 5 stars / humans, zero for being the cause of red tide!
