We
came
here
only
because
we
wanted
lunch
but
I
wanted
a
cocktail
with
lunch
and
they
have
a
full
bar.
What
we
experienced
was
not
expected.
We
figured
this
was
your
usual
bar
and
grill
on
the
water,
ho
hum,
you
can
toss
a
coin
to
the
next
when
near
the
water.
The
place
is
beautiful,
open
airy.
There
is
full
outside
dining,
a
covered
and
protected
patio
for
dining,
a
bar,
and
inside.
I
understand
they
have
their
herb
garden
you
can
walk
through
but
being
a
blustery
day,
we
chose
the
comfort
of
inside.
The
place
is
clean,
and
there
are
barriers
between
booths.
The
menu
has
a
regular
lunch
menu
and
a
specials
menu.
When
you
usually
see
“island
fare”
it’s
usually
some
Cuban
dishes
and
or
Jamaican
and
maybe
something
a
bit
off
the
beaten
path
if
lucky.
Here,
you
see
Barbados,
St
Croix,
Trini,
St
Kitts,
Anguilla,
etc.
Wow!
They
use
organic
bits,
fresh
blue
crab
for
stuffings,
clean
meats.
There
are
also
lots
of
southern
foods
that
are
elevated
to
finer
dining.
Here’s
the
thing,
yes,
the
menu
reads
beautifully
and
lots
of
awesome
choices
but
to
be
real,
the
food
is
what
makes
it.
It’s
not
just
“food”.
It’s
art,
it’s
passion,
it’s
amazing.
I
ordered
what
read
as
a
standard
quinoa
and
kale
salad
with
Trini
pepita
pesto
and
seared
tuna.
The
kind
of
thing
you
can
easily
put
together,
right?
Not
here!
There
was
an
apple
and
jicama
salsa
that
was
in
the
quinoa.
The
baby
kale
was
fresh
and
lovely.
The
pepita
pesto
was
smooth
and
tasty.
The
tuna...
was
buttery
soft
and
melted
in
your
mouth.
It
was
just
like
what
you
expect
at
a
really
good
sushi
restaurant,
buttery
tasting,
melts
in
your
mouth
deliciousness.
There
was
amazing
care
taken
for
every
part
of
the
dish.
They
do
this
with
all
the
dishes.
They
aren’t
just
slapped
onto
a
plate,
they
are
artfully
arranged
and
every
component
had
lots
of
thought
go
into
them.
You
can
taste
the
heart
and
soul.
This
is
what
sets
this
place
apart
from
other
waterfront
places.
The
pricing
is
fair.
It’s
not
cheap,
but
you
can
eat
cheaply.
It’s
not
crazy
expensive,
but
some
of
the
higher
end
dishes
do
sport
a
higher
end
price,
that
I
find
justified.
Not
everything
has
a
price
listed.
Yes,
it’s
kinda
that
place,
but
in
a
good
way.
The
drinks
are
poured
generously.
2
and
you
are
in
no
pain.
The
“Fruit
Punch”
is
oh
so
smooth
and
yummy.
We
cleaned
our
plates.
Stuffed
to
the
gills,
we
didn’t
want
the
experience
to
end
so
we
actually
ordered
dessert
and
a
dessert
coffee.
The
pineapple
cheesecake-
oh
my
wow.
I’m
not
one
for
crust
but
I
did
nick
a
chunk
off
the
remaining
bite.
We
went
back
for
dinner,
as
I
thought
I
left
my
glasses
there.
I
did
not.
I
need
glasses
to
find
my
glasses!
The
menu
and
specials
changed.
The
pricing
went
up.
I
think
you
can
easily
drop
$100
before
tip,
but
with
this
restaurant,
it’s
worth
it.
You
really
do
get
some
great
bang
for
your
buck.
It’s
the
kind
of
place
I
will
watch
my
pennies
during
the
week
to
save
up
for
a
meal
here.
I
don’t
do
that
very
often.
I
find
this
place
well
worth
it.
I
will
certainly
miss
it
after
we
sail
off
in
a
few
weeks.
But,
I
think
I
would
absolutely
make
my
way
back
if
close
enough.
I
want
to
tell
you
go!
Enjoy!
Just
please,
leave
a
table
open
for
us.
