A new place, it's an awesome showroom! They have a variety of tropical and saltwater fish. And basically everything you could ever need to take care of them. Very beautiful. The owner is also very nice and friendly. If you are looking for a more exotic and modern aquarium this is the place!

I recently purchased my 125g tank from here. The experience couldn’t have went better. I’ve been to every fish store in Charlotte and surrounding areas and got the best customer service by far here. It’s not the biggest store out there but the layout makes it so it never feels cramped like other places around here. Not to mention they have the best plant selection/display I’ve seen in a long time. This is definitely my new go-to spot going forward!

Ordered a 125 gallon tank and Mike personally delivered my tank. Didn't realize the size of the tank until I got it lol. It's perfect for my peacock and haps. Thank you Mike and much appreciated.

Absolutely love The Fish Room. My husband and I have been fish lovers for over 10+ years and we always seem to find a wide variety of fish here. The owner Mike is so nice and super helpful. Always have a great experience when we come here. My husband and I make that 30 min drive just to come here. Staff is always so helpful and answers any questions we may have. The store is always SO CLEAN and the signage for the prices of everything is super clear. Always enjoy my visits here and I'll always be a loyal customer.

We had a great experience on our first ever visit today. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Great selection of saltwater and freshwater fish and aquarium supplies. We were excited to get a knifefish to add to our freshwater tank.

This is a great fish aquarium store. Purchased a saltwater tank and system from Mike the owner. He is very knowledgeable about the products he sells. Can't wait for the tank to cycle so I can start putting fish in it. I found my one stop shop for all my saltwater supplies and fish. Thanks Mike!

Go see Mike and support our community! Hands down, always has the best selection of plants. I bought an orange crayfish from Mike and he is thriving with all my tetras. I put a lot of caves and leaves in the 36 gallon to keep him busy. I got 8 cherry barbs and numerous fish from Mike, all doing very well. They also have frozen brine shrimp available which is a great meal option for specific types of fish.

Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Great to have a local fish store in the Ballantyne area as it's been needed for many years.

Mike, is very knowledgeable about reefing and if theres any questions or concerns you have he will try his best to assist you. I believe Mike's biggest qualities are his passion for the hobby, consideration and patience with his customers . He has A1 customer service.

Great store, clean and well stocked! Certainly stocking more varieties of fish than other stores. They have a selection of freshwater fish, invertebrates and plants, saltwater fish, corals, and invertebrates. I enjoyed asking my many questions about both fresh and saltwater. Knowledgeable staff that were able to answer my questions with clear expertise. Will be back!

Mike is the bestest! They always treat us great. Whenever we need advice, they always have lots of info to share. We have been happy with everything we have bought there: plants, fish, shrimp, snails, substrate, dragon stone, foreign wood, tank cleaning equipment, and so on. We live kinda far from them since we moved, but we keep going because they are top notch!

We came there today to get a new fish for our store - our last one passed away and we needed a new friend for the team! Austin was wonderful - he gave us great advice and was super friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated his help and the store was beautiful as well!

First time visiting the store today and was very pleased. Definitely the best store I’ve been to in the Charlotte area. Very clean and well lit. The owner helped with the sale of some livestock I purchased. Wicked nice guy and seems very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning very soon for more.

I’ve gone here a couple times now since they do have a pretty good selection of items and fish that I can’t find in other local shops closer to me but the employees were not friendly and didn’t seem interesting in helping me. It was really frustrating trying to get the attention of employees. I felt very unwelcome, like they just wanted me to leave. I will probably go for things I can’t find elsewhere but I’ve been really disappointed with the customer service on 3 out of my 4 visits. It really ruined my experience here and made me feel really awkward and uncomfortable as I desperately tried flagging down employees and was blatantly ignored on several occasions.
