My root touch up was 270$ after being quoted twice my Bishops to be 80$ less than a week before the appointment, both online and over the phone. Staff worked with me to reduce the price closer to my average price I pay at my normal salon. Resulting in 165$, which again, is still higher than I normally pay. Additionally, the color didn't turn out correct and now I am going to said former salon to get it corrected, meaning another appointment elsewhere. Staff was very friendly, absolutely no complaints about them, but obviously I would have never made the appointment if Bishops was upfront about the price. Needing a follow up appointment to correct it only worsens the experience.

The shop is ultra friendly and good vibes absorbed the whole time your there. Kristi is Amazing as a manager, stylist and colorist… you will not leave disappointed. Dog friendly plus🤩❤️

I had a lovely experience here! I was a bit nervous, after seeing mixed yelp reviews and wanting a somewhat complicated style done, but Dani took great care of me throughout the entire process, and all the staff I interacted with were very friendly. Dani was a good conversationalist and was able to answer of all of my questions well. She was very attentive to my needs, offering water and making sure I was comfortable. She did a great job with my hair and maintained the same level of energy despite it being a six hour process. It was definitely on the expensive end. I’m definitely happy with the service and hair style, but I would have to save up to do this again. I’m far from opposed to returning, though.

I have been going to Bishops for the past 3 years. The stylists are not only skilled but also incredibly friendly and attentive. My stylist, Joanie, always takes the time to understand exactly what I want and offers valuable suggestions. The result exceeded my expectations—excellent cut and color! The salon itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend Bishops for anyone looking for top-notch service and a stylish, comfortable environment. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience!

Officially making this my home for hair care! I just moved to Charlotte, and was a little worried to get my hair done by a new salon and stylist. I took a chance on Bishop, as their Google reviews were very good! I can 100% see why! I was greeted right away, and the energy was so positive. They offered me a beverage and I was sat in the stylist chair immediately. TK was amazing! Listened to exactly what I wanted, and the results were amazing. My hair feels so much lighter and healthier. Could not recommend enough!

I went to the Midtown location. Ashley did a great job with my haircut. The atmosphere was welcoming, they had Gameboy Colors to play while waiting, offered water, and chatted with me. My haircut is apparently difficult for some other hairdressers, but not here! Great fade and buzz, nice layering, etc. I was actually asked questions about my cut throughout the process, I was given the opportunity to look at the cut during the process and suggest changes, and they recommended styling products I had asked for. I was very pleased with the service. I'll be back soon. Thanks for the welcoming and enjoyable experience while giving me safety as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

My experience with Dani was great. She is very professional, and after I had encountered poor service at another salon previously, working with Dani made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I love both the hair color and cut she gave me.

Bishops is a great place! I love the vibe of the salon- they have all kinds of cool art, fun music, beverages available, and I'm a big fan of the waiting area that has Gameboys, books, and other games to keep you entertained if you need to wait. Everybody was friendly, informative, and pleasant. My cut was done expertly and my stylist did an amazing job listening to what I wanted. I love my cut, and I loved my experience here. I will absolutely be going back.
