Delicious appetizers and extensive menu. The service is fast and friendly - they definitely make you feel welcomed. We had a few entrees and Pho. All solid. Will definitely go back. Even when everything was great, the attention can be sometimes overwhelming with someone coming to our table every 1 minute to check on us and move things around or collect a dish. Good service for sure, but a bit of space can be nice too.

Loved Lang Van in Charlotte NC. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. It was packed on a Sunday night. We had the summer roll and another roll with pork, We had chicken curry & barbecue beef with rice! Loved the peanut sauce! Can’t wait to go back!

The best Seafood Pho I’ve tried in Charlotte NC. Flavors are spot on. They do use beef broth, I am not sure if they have Chicken as an alternative. I paid about $15 and I do not believe they offer additional sizes. I wish they would give you a little more seafood and variety but it’s always fresh and delicious. Comes with (two pieces of Imitation Crab meat that are already bathing in the broth, about three shrimp, and a whole lot of Calamari strips) I love the taste of the fried onions in the soup! I will always choose Lang Van for my Seafood Pho.

This is a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food and stellar service. We went on a early Saturday evening, and were seated promptly. They greeted us with smiles and were pretty cordial throughout our visit. The food is top-notch—we got the 137–Lemongrass chicken with rice—this was pretty spicy and flavourful, and had a lot of texture to it, and a chicken dish with noodles and a generous portion of vegetables which had undertones of garlic and ginger in just the right amount. The Vietnamese coffee was quite sweet and yet so delicious—it made for a savoury drink. For appetisers, we got the yellow pancakes with chicken, which essentially are crepes with chicken and vegetables inside them, another wonderful dish. They’ve quite an extensive menu with a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. Don’t let the drab outside of Lang Van fool you. The inside is anything but drab. There’s some interesting history to this place, and it was great to read up on it prior to visiting. The owner and the servers checked on us multiple times and made us feel welcome. Having moved recently to Charlotte from San Francisco, I had been looking for a great Asian food place, and I found it finally. I’m looking forward to visiting here in the future. They’ve some parking in the front and quite a bit of parking in the back. I bet the evenings get busy especially on weekends, but they do a good job of keeping the queue moving. They’re closed on Mondays. 5/5 for Lang Van

It was good, the workers were very kind and attentive. We ordered a pho and rice dish and both were good, though I feel the rice dish was lacking for the price. The grilled pork patty wasn't that large, but it was good though.

Wow. Just… Wow. Flew into Charlotte for business and a colleague suggested we come here. I’m very glad he suggested it. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious, and it’s very reasonably priced. Definitely read the history of this place on their website before you come. I had some of the best spring rolls I think I’ve ever had. In the pictures, you see the pineapple fried rice, the hot pot with tofu, and I think the ginger stirfry. They were all delicious! (and I’m not that big of a tofu fan). Don’t let the outside of this place fool you, it was truly a wonderful experience.

This is an all around 5 star Charlotte staple. An absolute must! A quaint restaurant with a friendly, attentive and helpful staff, offering an expansive menu of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Chicken, pork, shrimp and vegan dishes up and down the menu. We tried a few different dishes: curry, potato pancake, make-your-own spring rolls and squid garlic sauce. It all was so delicious. The ONLY downside is parking. It's a small lot and with as busy as Lang Van gets, sometimes it can be difficult to find a spot. But circle the lot a few times or park down the street because this place is worth it!

Incredible service and hospitality is found here. The vibe is authentic and unique with a mix of intriguing decor. The cuisine is genuine and delicious; the menu is extensive with items you do not see on other menus. Highly recommend Lang Van for Vietnamese and SE Asian dining in Charlotte. The attention to detail is over the top!

Flavorful South Vietnamese Pho, sweeter than Northern. Portions ample and reasonably priced. Service acceptable. Did not appreciate being asked no less than 3 times, by separate wait staff if we wanted appetizers or drinks in a matter if 5 minutes.

The food was excellent. We had #43 Chicken and #109 Beef. The beef and chicken were very flavorful and tender. The service was great. We see why they are repeatedly voted "Best of..." in Charlotte.

Loved it! We order #105 and #106, didn't think it was gonna fill me up but was surprisingly filling! The menu was super big so it took some time to look at as a first timer but the stir fry sauce had lots of flavor and overall very good food. The shrimp and chicken were also very good, a lot of places don't season the meat or just boil the shrimp but even the meat was very flavorful! The Staff were all very friendly, fast, and helpful as well! Small place and was pretty busy as we went on a Friday night but we got seated almost right away. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes but definitely a must try place!

I’ve ate at 5 of the 6 vietnamese spots in Charlotte but hands down for quality, service, customer service, and overall selection this blows everyone else out the water. Anybody looking for the best vietnamese food. Look no further! The waitress is absolute doll. I can’t not tell you how amazing and attentive she was. Have been hearing about this place for years, but never made. Covid has also caused the delayed visit. Today was the day and I am so glad that I came and ate there. The food was so delicious. Met a wonderful family who drove an hour away, just to eat there. They knew the menu based on the number. A true sign of loyal customers. Have been told that there isn't anything bad on the menu. After eating our meal, I believe that the family is right. The food was wonderful. So good, it caused me to forget to take a picture of the food. From all of the awards on the wall, I can see that others agree with me.

Authentic Vietnamese food was not what I expected when I visited Charlotte, but a very welcome surprise. We ordered the crispy quail, Vietnamese coffee, and combination pho. Quail was a perfect appetizer...savory sweet meat and just the right portion size to get a taste and leave you wanting more. The broth of the pho was amazing...savory beef flavor, light and well seasoned. Wait staff are efficient, attentive, and kind, turning tables over in record time to keep the line moving. Generous portion of noodles to fill you up. Overall I highly recommend and would visit weekly if I lived nearby.

This is one of those places that people will recommend if you're visiting the city. It needs little introduction other than it does some of the best Vietnamese food in Charlotte, hands down. It has a big menu, so it can be a little intimidating if you're unsure of what to try. I had the broken rice and I inhaled it under 10 minutes, so just go with your gut and enjoy the ride.

I travel and try Vietnamese all over. I’m usually disappointed. Lang Van did not disappoint. The fresh flavors of Vietnam are alive and well here. I can’t wait to come back. Service was on point.

Went back just to get a picture of a full bawl. My second time there. I drink from the bowl! No spoon! The staff is really friendly and fast.

I have lived in Charlotte five years now and finally made it to Lang Van last night. Boy, am I sorry I have waited this long!?! You walk in and immediately feel such a welcoming atmosphere. Upon being seated we were greeted by the sweetest waitress who helped us order as newbies! The food was absolutely delicious, I still cannot stop thinking about it. Plus, they had my favorite cold, unfiltered sake. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

If I were you, I'd stop reading reviews and make my way to Lang Van with a quickness. The delicious smell that hits you when you walk in, the friendly people greeting you, the warm and flavorful dishes...this isn't a restaurant with comfort food, it's a comfort restaurant. If you like tofu, I absolutely recommend ordering a tofu dish here. While the pho is popular, I'm super happy overall with the way they prepare and cook their veggies and love the vermicelli with tofu and veggies.

all I have to say is wow.. every dish I have had here has changed my life for the better. the food is that excellent! the service is unparalleled! the staff is so amazingly attentive, warm, welcoming, and kind. I just love the decor, too! the Christmas lights give me such joy. you will not find a better place in Charlotte for Vietnamese food. if you've ever visited, you know I'm right! absolutely love everything about this place! can't recommend them enough! also, they have plenty of vegetarian options 🙂🖤✨️

We used to come here quite often but this time was the last time. This place is over-hyped, it is white washed Vietnamese food. You will never see a Vietnamese person eat here. The food is overpriced as well. We ordered a braised fish and the portion was TINY. It was around $23. I'm sad that they have lost my business but there are other Viet places in Charlotte that are just as good or better.

Delicious food and great service! Loved the beef pho and chicken fried rice. All the food was super flavorful and great portions. Cute ambiance and our waitress was super friendly! The food came quickly too. This is my new favorite restaurant in Charlotte and I’ll definitely return soon!

This place is a gem. Has been in Charlotte for a long time and I’m glad it survived the Covid years. It’s a must try if you like Vietnamese cuisine. Hard to say which dish is the best since i like them all; or most of them. The spring rolls are great. The pho is 100; and many fried rice dishes are bulletproof. The menu is long but everything is fresh. And i love that they love Christmas with all the decorations.

The staff was awesome! They were friendly and helpful, very welcoming. The food was excellent. So many options to choose from. I am looking forward to going back.

Well worth coming here. Delicious food, welcoming and hard working staff with reasonable prices. I will happily be back to enjoy it again. This place was on several food lists for the area. It didn't disappoint.

Ambience was good, service was excellent. I tried the lemongrass chicken curry which tasted a lot like like Singapore-flavored with a strong curry powder taste. I thought it was alright. Would still come again because there’s so much on the menu!

The dishes were light, refreshing, and flavorful. The staff never let our water glasses get half empty. Service was fast and friendly. I definitely want to come back!
