While it wasn’t the prettiest it could be, this was a fun path to run. Would be stunning in fall or spring (if not flooded). Lots of rain had made some parts a muddy mess, but still had fun. Next time I’m in NC with friends I will run this again!

Beautiful 4 mile hiking area in the woods Its well maintained. Parking is limited, plan to park nearby or on the street. Cant wait to go here in summer.

Another very nice walking trail. We did not walk the whole 2 miles but what we did was great. Visiting from Florida so it nice to actually walk up and down some hills. 👍

Very nice walk on a fall afternoon. Bicyclists need to be trained better and actually make audible warnings, nearly got clipped twice on one afternoon. Calm and peaceful, overall. Needs some trash pickup.

Great escape from the surrounding city. Lots to look at. So fortunate to have such a wonderful place to walk practically in my backyard

Beautiful walking trail and plenty of shady areas, you can take your strollers too. A bit long for the small kids but you can always do half and return back. Less parking spots but street parking and there is shopping areas where you can park 😉.

I love this Greenway. I took a short path closer to the water that's located off the Greenway and found this little guy coming out of his den. Perfect timing!!

Haven't been by in a while (probably before the new parking lot)...place is as charming and peaceful as ever. Always some critters to see and if you can find...little spots off the beaten path with more scenic tranquility (be mindful though, stay safe and respect others property).

Its great but, if it has rained or raining it holds water and little mud. I assume when its dry, it would be fantastic. I, myself don't mind the water but, some people might.

I really like this trail. It is hard surfaced and plenty wide enough to allow bikes and dog walkers to pass safely. Most of it is in the shade. The 4 mile long trail ends at Johnston Road, which has a parking area and bathrooms. Another trail picks up from there if you want to go farther (or is it further). Either way, I think you will like this trail.
