    Great stay at the Hampton inn! Was able to book another night with ease - very cheap but super clean and comfortable! Service was way better than expected, Janette took good care of us! Also the other women at the counter were super nice! Have to give 5/5 stars!

    First issue was check-in. Our group had all confirmation numbers and CC info but yet somehow we weren't in Hampton's system. After more than an hour we finally had to charge the rooms to another card. Then the rooms....bugs everywhere. At least one room in our group had a broken AC. We ended up pairing up in the decent rooms with no infestation. The rest of our stay couldn't possibly make up for these troubles.

    A colleague and I were traveling to Charlotte on business and I chose this Hampton Inn and Suites (HIS) because it looked to be in a decent area. I used to work for a couple of HIS so I am familiar with the brand and any time I travel I always try to book with them. I checked in online the day prior to my trip and chose both rooms. When we got to the hotel, the first thing we noticed was trash all in the parking lot. The second thing we noticed was a beat up car a few down from mine with smells of marijuana coming from it. We walked in to the front desk and stood there for a good 3-4 minutes before anyone ever came up. The Front Desk Agent (FDA) had her cell phone with her with an active call on speaker phone. She went back in the back and was talking to someone. Finally the FDA came back and started checking us in. As we were being checked in, at least 5 other guests walked in. Another FDA came out and said, we'll be right with you. I saw that there was only one computer.... That's NOT normal. I booked two standard King rooms. Only one standard King was ready, so my colleague was upgraded to a King Suite. I was VERY impressed with our rooms. They were clean and the AC worked very well. I was right beside the elevator, so I was a little apprehensive, but it was okay. The hallway was quiet. I noticed there were a lot of other corporate guests there. The breakfast was good-standard HIS. The FDA checking us out was SUPER friendly. I WOULD recommend this hotel, especially for corporate travelers or those who are conscientious of where you lay your head at night!

    This is a very family friendly, clean, modern hotel with easy access in/out. Our stay was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and well kept up with so many breakfast options. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a 100% positive experience.

    !!! Do not stay in room 317 the toilet does not work. Someone left a plunger outside our door after we called about it that night. First of all we don’t work there and we’re on vacation we shouldn’t have to do your work. Someone came and plugged it the next morning. The toilet cleared but did the very same thing late in the night. This was very unpleasant and a inconvenience. I guess if I would have read the reviews someone else had made a previously about the toilet in room 317 not working properly. You guys know this is an issue and should not be having this room or any room available for stays. People pay their hard earned money for what they believe will be a relaxing time away from home. I’m a Hilton honors member and this was a first for me. I was so disappointed.

    Sorry didn't have time of posting review. My family and I love the home away from home feeling we had when we came thru the door. The staff was so helpful we were past check in time but they just took care of it as to say no worries at all. We stayed the whole weekend and enjoyed so much fun yet still had a lovely cozy place to unwind thank you so much for the birthday weekend my son dream of you sure made his wish come true

    I didn’t actually stay here HOWEVER I have been here for 2 weeks for a class held in their meeting room. I just wanted to take a moment to brag on the staff, they have been nothing short of a model staff. Specifically Miss Rita, the worlds kindest front desk woman. Walking into an 8-5 class every day was not exciting, but knowing I would be greeted by her big smile and giggles each morning was the highlight of my day. Thank you ladies for all of the fresh hot coffee and patience! I’ll be booking a stay here soon just to enjoy the facility and to see Miss Rita and Miss Emelia!

    Upon booking a standard king room, I was given a suite – and what a suite it was! I've had my fair share of hotel stays, but never have I encountered a room of such grand proportions. Beyond the room, the staff exuded warmth and friendliness, making the stay all the more delightful. Located conveniently on the fringes of Charlotte, this establishment ticks all the boxes for a great stay. Highly recommended for those seeking both comfort and hospitality.

    FANTASTIC place! In addition to a great facility, the staff is truly the best - and I've stayed all over the world. Friendly, helpful, caring, concerned, and happy. Also, the included breakfast is better than 90% of l9cal restaraunts and cafes. This review is not hyperbole, it's FACT!

    I stay here every year meeting up with my sister for girls weekend at Extraordinary Women Conference. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is amazing, and the staff is very friendly. If there's a problem it's dealt with promptly. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed!

    I have to rate this as a three star. First the gentleman that accommodated us in our check-in was amazing. He apologized because our original booking rooms were no longer available because the hotel was booked. But he upgraded us without charge to a suite. The reason that I can’t give this hotel, a five star rating is because our room, which was a suite smelled like cigarette smoke. ( this room was a non-smoking room) Because we don’t smoke this was very bothersome for our stay, especially with the price that we pay for the room. I didn’t get a good nights rest because the hotel room smell like smoke. We probably would not have had this room in the first place because our original room was given away or no longer available because of the hotel being booked

    We arrived for our stay at 7PM. To policemen interviewing customers who had been robbed earlier. We tried to get into our rooms only to find one occupied by a couple that had broken in! We had several teenage girls that were supposed to be in that room! I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t been there when those two crooks came to the door. The security guard was very diligent in his investigation, and helped calm the upset teenagers down, but the other night shift personnel were not as helpful. The morning breakfast she made was wonderful! The morning kitchen manager Pat was great!

    The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. But most of all we truly are appreciative of Mark the reservation agent. He is very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable of the area. This is a great place to stay and would recommend it to all my family and friends.

    Absolutely horrible stay here. Now I have a caveat that the hotel staff were nice enough to refund me the hotel room, hence the 2 stars. As a Diamond member, I’d expect better service to be provided for Hilton’s members, or any customer. I walked in, only to find dozens of bugs/ladybugs all over the ceilings, air conditioner, desk, lamps. When asked about getting a room swap, they said they were booked. When asked about getting the room clean, they said they’d look into it. When asked why this room wasn’t checked before giving it to a customer, there wasn’t any answer. The consolation was that I could book another hotel room somewhere else if I was dissatisfied. I don’t normally write reviews but the manner of rectifying this issue was very frustrating. There’s no way these bugs had appeared out of nowhere after the room had been cleaned. 1 or 2, fine, I wouldn’t have made a big deal but there were dozens.

    Location was very convenient to the Carolina Place Mall where we did our pop up shop. This past weekend it was a snowing and very cold but staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites made life much easier. We had great service from the Front Desk employee, Quincy, he tended to all of our needs and made sure we were comfortable during our stay there. We booked two rooms and he made sure that both of our rooms were accommodated with everything we needed. The complementary breakfast was well organized and very clean. I would stay here each time we come and visit Charlotte!

    Our toilet was stopped up and we never got a plunger brought to our room which was disappointing. We called once we noticed at night and we had to let the staff know during check out the next morning that the toilet overflowed in room 317. We have kids so one of them must of used the bathroom early that morning. This was unfortunate because we loved the room and the check in customer service was outstanding.

    Gotta give 5 stars to the service I received from Cali at the Hampton here in Charlotte! I travel a lot nowadays and Cali provided some amazing service. Staying here on a business trip and was greeted by one of the brightest smiles I've seen all day. Cali was a big help and getting me situated with my mom. Checking in with super easy with her help.

    Overall an amazing hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and alot more roomier than expected! The only thing I would say is maybe something can be placed on the floor of the shower in the rooms with separate shower and bath as the tile can be slippery. That itself was very minor and did not detract from the rest of the experience there. Location wise is pretty quiet but only about 10-15 minutes from attractions and nice restaurants. Choices for fast food/quick bites are right down the road though. Breakfast was great with 2 different style waffle makers & plenty of extras to create your own like blueberry mix, choc.chips, etc. There was also sausage patties, western style omelletes, fruit, hot oatmeal, and other options. Overall amazing and definitely a hotel that will be one to return too on future trips to Charlotte.

    Stayed this past weekend and Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Fred and Darrell were amazing and very welcoming. Even the security guy was nice. My biggest issue is the day I was leaving I was trying to get a towel and wash cloth for over an hour and was finally told they do not provide those to guest that’s leaving , I’ve never heard of that before and even though all of the used towels and rags was in the hall they wouldn’t provide one set. And it’s sad it took over an hour to find that out.

    Came to this Hampton Inn & the front desk guy Quincy Hill was super cool and made sure my room was good. He was very friendly and even though it was snowing he made our stay 100% better. This guy deserves a raise & needs to be promoted to management. He definitely deserves everything Hilton has to offer!

    Nice area, big rooms, breakfast is great, nice fitness room and customer service. The perfect place for me to stay and scope Charlotte. BUT with their rooms being so large, they should pay more attention to cleaning. The bathroom tub was pretty dirty

    The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. It's nice to have a breakfast in the morning before leaving. Two drawbacks -- eggs were cold even though they were in a warmer and the tub/shower is a slip/fall issue waiting to happen. Once you are soaped up, the tub is super-slippery. Even the grab bar was slippery with soap on my hands.

    My wife & I received the best customer service hands down from Quincy, one of the front desk personnel. He was very hospitable and very warm toward us. Service such as this should be noted. Not to mention the rooms exceeded expectations and were very well kept. Way to go Quincy, you have got this place new customers whenever we fly out of NC! 5/5 stars

    The hotel was really nice and clean. The hot breakfast was good with fresh items on display. Quincy was the representative who checked us in. He was very courteous and welcoming to this establishment. I am a cheer mom and I can say his customer service was excellent. Thank you Quincy and to the rest of the staff for making our stay comfortable. I will definitely come back and recommend others as well.

    Not bad, room was clean. We were given two room keys but one was not activated. Pillows were too soft for my liking , but that’s personal preference. Breakfast was good no complaints there. Halls were also quiet so I slept good.

    Gotta give 5 stars to the service I received from Cali at the Hampton here in Charlotte! I travel a lot nowadays and Cali provided some amazing service. Staying here on a business trip and was greeted by one of the brightest smiles I've seen all day. Cali was a big help and getting me situated with my mom. Checking in with super easy with her help. This Hampton location is conveniently located off of one of the main highways. It's a little far outside of the downtown area so it's fairly quiet around it. I didn't find that it had much walkable stuff around but I did arrive to my room at 10 o'clock at night. The hotel was quiet where there weren't many guests and loud people around. The room was clean. This is not one of the newer locations that are updated so things are a little old but it's clean and tidy. The decor is that oldies 2010 decor - you can tell the hotel is in need of some Reno. Five stars for the amazing service I received from Cali.
