Food is great! Giant Chicken Salad with the chicken tossed in your choice of sauce, and the Philly cheese steak is amazing (I added blue cheese to mines) comes with A1 sauce.. smh Took it to a whole... Nuvah... Level!!

Well, if you are looking for a place with great service and cold beer, might want to keep looking. First time here and highly disappointed. A nice short walk from the Blue Line light rail, the outside boasts of a bright colored "hole-in-the-wall" gem. With its small umbrella dotted patio which had all full tables, we were expecting a great experience. The interior was dark, which gave it that true tavern feel. Charging stations at the tables was an unexpected treat. The beers (draught)...depending on which one you ordered were not cold. Half of my party had cold, the other half was just a bit above room temperature. The food was typical "pub-type" fare and it was delicious. The bad part was how long it took to get a server (and there was only one who worked the whole place, inside and out, at lunch). Once our food came we immediately asked for the check because we weren't sure when we would see our server again. We ended up getting the bartender to close us out because our server never came back. All in all, a few perks in the visit, but with so many other places to eat along the lightrail line, it will be awhile before I return.

Service was sloooww. Food was even slower. Party of 4, food came out in increments 5 minutes apart(not together) after an hour with only a half full restaurant. I had to ask for the side that came with my meal. Charged for ranch that the menu listed as coming with my chicken. Coleslaw was sour, as if it were rotten. Also, they charge a percentage to pay with a credit card. Let me repeat that, in 2022, THEY CHARGE A FEE TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD. 2 stars(really 1 star) because the spicy garlic sauce was legit. P.S. It's $17 to park and they do not validate parking.

It's Ya guy Rah with another review!! Let me tell you... If you're looking for something to munch on that's not too heavy and just right, these are the Goldie Locs of Tots! Like an Americana lasagna these tots are layered with cheese, chili and bacon! Too good (especially with a ranch or blue cheese on the side) If this doesn't do it for you, grab the Loaded Tower of Tots! It will not disappoint, the kitchen puts it down! Definitely a local bar with down to earth vibes! Worth the the stop! 😎👌🏽Come see Tiff, Erin, Alicia, Brian and the rest of the crew on the Bland St station stop! The kitchen puts it DOWN!! #BILLSBAR #GAMEDAYVIBES

A night out in Charlotte, a few friends and I thought we’d try this place out. Probably the most HORRIBLE experience I’ve ever had. First, we walk in and no one greets us to let us know if we need to wait or seat ourselves. Someone finally noticed us in passing and told us to “sit anywhere.” The floor was pretty full so we went up a few steps and sat a table that was filthy(that should have been our first sign to leave) so we sanitized and cleaned our table and chairs. Servers watched us clean our area and at no point came over to take over or offer help. Once seated, another group came in shortly after us and sat in the same area. After maybe 10 minutes (that’s me being nice) server Shannon comes out and goes to greet and take drink order for the group that came in after us. Shannon then comes over to us with a “I don’t really want to be here or serve them” type of attitude. We tried to ask questions about food suggestions, her attitude was very nonchalant and more of a “hurry up and figure out what you want” type of vibe from her. I asked her about drink specials, she kind of rushed/mumbled through that so I had to stand to get closer to her before asking her to repeat what she said. All in all, her service was horrible. Our drinks were brought out by someone else who sat our drinks down without telling us who had what, so we pretty much guessed that part. As we’re talking , majority of our food comes out and is sat on the table. Then a giant roach crawls down the wall beside me and lands on our table in the midst of the food. Shannon walks back to bring the last part of our order and causally looks on to see what happened, didn’t apologize for that experience, just proceeded to grab our food and move it to another dirty table where there was a dead Roach laying on the floor along with napkins and forks. At no point did a manger come out and acknowledge what happened, Shannon acted as if nothing happened and carried on to ask if we needed anything else. Another server sat behind us (at this point we’re standing, not feeling comfortable to sit down in this filthy area) and pretty much stared and listened to our conversation as opposed to asking if we were okay or if we needed anything. She then waits until Shannon returns to the area and asks her what happened. At this point I asked for our checks and to go boxes (no one offered to comp our meal) we were only given an excuse about why the roach was in the building, something about having to leave doors open or something like that, I don’t know. Pretty pointless if you ask me. No apologies for our experience, Shannon brings our boxes and checks and tells us to have a great night. Never have I ever dealt with such nonchalant servers who didn’t think it was important to address what took place in their restaurant or offer anything to make up for the bad experience. Needless to say we’ll never visit this place again. By the way, another customer sitting close to us came back and killed the roach on our table with his shoe. Not the servers, and it was left there just as the others on the floor. Waste of $25.

Tavern on the Tracks is my go-to spot for a late-night bite in Southend. Located right behind the brickyard. Tavern works as a spot that anyone can go to and not have to worry too much about the usual south-end crowd. My only issue with it is that your order will get sent to the wrong seat on occasion because of their ticket system at the bar. Great place to watch the football game and you can typically always grab a seat or table. The Wings are solid, I recommend the lemon and pepper. The mixed drinks are less expensive than across the street but just as good if not better.

Tavern on the Tracks in Charlotte, NC, embodies the true spirit of a dive bar. With its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, it's a go-to spot for a laid-back night out. The dimly lit interior and eclectic decor create a cozy ambiance, perfect for enjoying a cold beer or a classic cocktail. While the menu might not be extensive, the simplicity adds to the charm. The diverse crowd adds to the welcoming vibe, making Tavern on the Tracks a local gem for those seeking an authentic dive bar experience in Charlotte.

This was the first time experiencing a Buffalo Bills Backer bar in NC. Wild atmosphere! We went to drink and watch the game but would love to go back and try the food. Wouldn’t be Buffalo without buckets of Labatts Blue.

Great dive bar in a sea of trendy places in Southend! Service is great. People are friendly. Prices are very good especially for this area. Their wings are some of the best in the city! Highly recommend.

Great food and drink options. Friendly service. Restrooms could use some attention, but it was basically clean. Wonderful Buffalo Bills bar! Let's Go Buffalo!

Good pub food. Fun Bills Backers bar. DJ played all night during the commercial breaks (during the Bills game). Was a loud house party atmosphere. If your a Buffalo native, the hot wings are Duff's mild.

Almost Towed Be aware of where you park. I was told I could park here. I went in to support there restaurant because a friend of mine, owner of most of the buildings in that area told me to check it out. The manager was drunk and very rude when we went to get back in our car. He snapped a pick of my tag and followed us out of the parking deck on to the street. He was a male Karen for sure. Bad mouth and drunk… “manager” wow I’m never eating there again. But as for the parking I’ll be talking to the Landlord. The guy wanted us to get towed very badly… very badly. That’s his second income for sure. He hook up the tow driver and they hook him up with a few $100.00

Buyer beware if using a Debit card (I will get to that later in the review). First off, we were just there last night. We basically just order a variety of appetizers that were shared among 6 adults with a few adult beverages. Our tab was roughly $120-140 we had it split 4 way (which we requested BEFORE she prepared the check) The food was great. We liked every item we ordered. Large variety of menu offerings. All American fare pub-style food. My only issues were that there were no physical menus everything had to be seen by scanning QR code. Which I fully understand that is becoming the norm. However, The server was not very knowledgeable of the food and/or bar menu especially when we just wanted to ask quick questions without having to open up our phones and scroll thought the many, many menu items to find what you were looking for. I actually like the idea but of scanning a code . But, my experience tells me that QR codes are much more efficient for smaller, easier to navigate menu selections and when the server actually knows the menu and can answer questions. But, Here is the “kicker” of our experience—- They also charge a CARD FEE!! What the HELL is a freaking card fee in 2023?? On my $35 check they charged a $1.03 card fee. I have no idea what it meant and didn’t bother to ask the server (simply because she couldn’t answer any of our other questions).I mean, it was only $1, I get it but we had no idea of the fee and to me it seems like an unnecessary fee. What? Would they have rather us pay cash when we couldn’t even have an actual menu? Seems like they favor the digital business model but then penalize the customer for it? Give me back the menu and I will gladly pay cash if a card is such an inconvenience or too expensive of an offering. Maybe I missed the notification of a card fee somewhere in the endless scrolling of looking for something to eat. Post your fees where they can be seen BY ALL!! And at least 1 menu for tables that request it, PLEASE! Not everyone is open to having phones out when they are trying have a meal with friends/family!

walked in to the end of what I guess was trivia night, basically some guy shouting survey results and point awards into a microphone, the gain turned so high it was distorting and ripping the speakers. crossed the sticky floor to the bar to make an order, and was promptly gouged for a Labatt blue on tap. as soon as I got to the table a waitress appeared to ask if we needed to order. while I was holding a full beer. never appeared again. subsequent trips to the bar accompanied by waiting for a staff member to take our order (several would walk by and make eye contact, including waitress, but none of them would stop to take the order or let the bartender know that patrons were waiting. then, in what I can only describe as sheer audacity, tacked on a $1.25 charge to pay by credit card. having worked in the retail point of sale industry, that's an outrageous amount of money for a cc transaction. most cc processors will beg you to let them pay those fees for you since they'll make their cash anyway, but trying to pass a MAYBE sixty cents charge (on the almost laughably high side of the estimate) to customers with a hundred plus percent mark up is downright greedy and evil. wouldn't darken their door again if you paid me.

If I can give this review a zero stars I would. I am embarrassed on behalf of this establishment to present a pasta as a “macaroni and cheese “ when in fact it was no where near that of a dish. What they presented before our table was a version of hamburger helper with some rendition of a tomato sauce attempt . The pasta dish should be rename and described for what it truly is. I as a Demi chef would of loved to join the back and teach these cooks the proper way to Mac and cheese .

Oh so sad. I just paid $40 for 2 drinks. NOTE... they did not have our top pick for Whiskey or Tequila. Settled for what's available. Still just not impressed. We visited the Chatlotte Brew House down the block, tipped well, quality liquor, six drinks, still paid less! Taking a walk...

Shannon was an absolute treat as a server. She was so kind and super attentive to the table. This was my first time at Tavern on the Tracks and I had an absolute blast. If you're in the Charlotte area and a Bills fan, this is the place to go to. Go Bills!

Shannon was AMAZING! The bar was packed for game day and she went out of her way to make us feel seen and waited on us as quickly as possible. A++++ service Shannon! We love you!

This was the second time we came to this restaurant. It was busy and the food was great the last time we went but we had a not so good time this second time around. Apparently our server walked out mid shift and although the bartender told us to pick our own seat, no one wanted to serve us. So we gave the bartender our orders who didn't seem too happy about that...then we waited a long time for our food. The food was mediocre at best and we probably won't be back. It was embarrassing because we brought our friends with us and it was just so disappointing.

As someone who plays the National Anthem on a daily basis, Tavern is squeezing the American consumer out of American pastimes like having an affordable meal and beer. I was erroneously overcharged for my chicken tenders and a beer. Was over $30. When we confronted the bartender about the charges being blatantly wrong compared to the menu, he literally said that we should have read the menu better. There was no arguing with him even though pricing is a pretty black and white issue.

Tried it because the reviews were good and it was within walking distance of where we were. Walked in and it was not very crowded so I was a little worried that it wouldn't be good, but decided to stay because it was late and didn't want to have to find somewhere else. The food was absolutely excellent. I definitely recommend it if you're in the area and don't mind eating in a sports bar atmosphere. By the time we left the place was packed.

Can’t even sync up the audio to video during the biggest game of the regular season. Only reason they get customers is because it’s a hub for Bills fans not because of service, food, or prices. Place has been going downhill for years.
