Hoppin' is a great place to go and chill with friends! I like how the beer is self serve, so you just find a drink you want to try and go for it. My favorite drink I got was the strawberry apple cider. The music and atmosphere is great as ,playing good music with a DJ. This place has drinks for everyone, and if you want food the taco truck has bomb boreas. It's honestly one of the best places in Charlotte!

Loved the atmosphere the most! If you have ever been to a self-serve style place, then you know how it works. Beer prices are on the more pricey end. I wouldn't go if you are trying to taste a bunch of different beer (because of the price). I would definitely go for the vibe and the crowd. They had a food truck as well!

A really fun experience. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager there since we were the only ones there; as they had just opened their doors. Very clean and relaxed environment! My wife and I had a blast and the use of bracelets to self pour is such a great idea and cost effective if you just want a sample size in case you don’t like it! Highly recommend if visiting or local to Charlotte! Very close to everything and walking distance to a lot of other great food as well for those munchies.

This was my first time at Hoppin CLT along with my friend Jayde and the atmosphere was amazing! Even on a Tuesday night! The bartender Travis made us some amazing drinks, they were so delicious (especially the frozen drinks ). Also Joey G does trivia nights on Tuesday from 8-10pm called mindless minutia, and it’s super fun with the chance to win free gift card! Especially when you’ve been drinking, it’ll really have you thinking! I highly suggest you come here for great drinks and a great time! Also amazing tacos. Good vibes only!

The newest bar in the Charlotte area! Located in downtown Rock Hill next to Marshall Piano. Tremendous selection of pour yourself beers, cocktails and wines. 62 pour taps!! Owner Joe Gulledge cares a tremendous amount for his customers and it shows in the quality of this place. Food is provided by a food truck from the legendary Rock Hill Restaurant “Kounter” named “twisted eats” adjacent to Hoppin, that is phenomenally good. I got the barbecue wonton nachos, and they are 5/5 great. Free parking!

Interesting concept. Kind of loses the luster of the beer experience in my opinion. The bracelet system is clunky you lose some of the friendly interaction with the bar tender. Space is clean and large. Just wasn't feeling it it as a beer guy myself.

The bar was as good as ever but the following day they texted me and asked me to leave a review. I never gave them my phone number.... Edit: alright, I will be a little more fair. Hoppin' is a pretty good bar in Charlotte. It's a good experience every time I go there.

Great self pour place with tons of local, domestic, and international beer and ciders. They also have a small wine selection and a bar for mixed drinks. The food truck outside is good for some small bites. They usually have daily events going on, and some board games, darts to kill some time. Upstairs has some couches for a more cozy vibe.

My husband I have been curious about this spot so we dropped in while trying Tacos Rick'O Truck in their patio area. There was a live band there who sounded nice. The atmosphere was nice also. We aren't really beer drinkers so we didn't try the beer wall. There was wine on the wall also, I just wasn't comfortable with the wine glasses that look to sit below the wall all day. I'd prefer a clean glass from the bar. But the bartender quickly arrive when he saw us go near the bar and our drink was just a vodka and pineapple. The tacos were okay also. I like the single tortillas tacos. I wasn't aware that they double their tortillas. The flavor of the pork & chicken was okay for me also. I saved some for my 11yr. old and he gave them a 10😀 I think all authentic street tacos are worth a try. I didn't get any pics inside, sorry.

I loved this place. I went for the first time last Thursday. The vibe was great and the drinks are priced well. The taco truck out back was so amazing. And the bartenders are super friendly and quick. This is definitely my new go to spot.

Friendly spot right in the heart of Charlotte. Great selection of beers and they even have liquor, wine, sours and a make your own mimosa spout pour! The employees here are friendly and knowledgeable.

Came for Taylor Swift Music Bingo. Firstly, walk there if you can, parking in south end isn’t that fun and is definitely not free. Walked in without and issue but quickly realized there were no seats- it’s a popular event so I understand, but it was overwhelming and not in a good way. I know they want to make money but this would have been better as a ticketed event. To make matters worse, half of the chairs were empty, but were being held by people who weren’t there. There were even people who had their dogs in chairs while others stood. People are inconsiderate but it would be nice if the managers helped by making sure more people were in seats. Event started at 8 and it was a whopping 8:46 before a Taylor swift song was played, which means by the time the real event came, the mood was killed and we were ready to go. Probably won’t be back. Check out music bingo at triple c or one of the other places in town as I’ve never not enjoyed bingo anywhere else.

Had a great time at trivia night here! The birria tacos from the food truck were good, the vibes were great and I enjoyed the host mindless minutia. Definitely will be visiting again.

Great place, Travis was great at the door , Joe g was a good a DJ playing all the right vibes with playing the @mindless_minutia_trivia game. They also also have a great beer, wine, and cider selection.

Great place to bring friend to experience self serve. Good atmosphere and music most days. They have great music trivia nights as well. There’s an on-site food truck serving up tacos and you can’t go wrong with the Birria Pizza. Wide selection of beer to choose from and full bar as well to imbibe and they have games you can play from UNO to jenga. Gets packed on weekends! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Hoppin’ from the wide draft selection, great wine choices and wonderful atmosphere that was inviting. Travis was very informative with it being our first time at the establishment helping us understand how each component worked. We also happened to come in on a Tuesday night for Survey Says with Joey G and Mindless Minutia. We had a great interaction and really enjoyed his trivia delivery! Definitely a great spot for a night to enjoy CLT!

If you are sick and tired of breweries like I am… try this place! The beer has a much better selection and they have really really really good cocktails. The food truck is also good too!!!! The vibe is also super nice with options to sit outside and upstairs! I will be back!!!

Martin helped me and my cousin out. Awesome place, great beer but Martin from West Virginia made it phenomenal. I’ll always stop in when I’m in the area! Champagne Velvet is the go to

Was quite dissatisfied with the cinco de mayo experience. Staff seemed ill prepared. To get anything there was a 45 minute to hour wait. Drinks were a long wait and they didn’t accept cash. Weird. Money is money. To get food was an hour wait as well. People were spending more time waiting in line than dancing and enjoying the atmosphere. My friends and I were disappointed so we walked elsewhere.

Great night life venue for beer aficionados. 2 story venue with pour your own beers. Think there is a full bar too for those interested. There was a DJ spinning too

I had a good experience overall, nice staff, nice ambience, they have games for you to play there but the most cool thing for me was trying different “Self service” draft beers and wines. You pay per oz so yo can get a glass cup and start trying them.

Really cool atmosphere. Had beer, wine, and sangria on tap as well as a bar for cocktail options. We came for the on site food truck (Tacos Rick-o, very yummy) and stayed for the drinks. It's charged by the oz but can add up FOR SURE for the ones with a wooden leg.

👍👍 It was delicious, exceptional drinks, I expected a heated space, as it was cold. I definitely recommend wearing more then 2 layers in the Winter. Despite everything, this this is arguably the better rooftops in Charlotte. Delicious delicious drinks, decent prices, casual atmosphere, amazing times....

👍 This was our first time at Caroline's Oyster bar and to be honest it underwhelmed. Now does this mean it was a horrible dining experience? Of course not. We gave it 4 stars! The Charlotte area is craving a good Oyster bar and sadly Caroline's has missed the mark. Will they do well? Yes, they will...
