Had a great experience at Dot Dot Dot in Charlotte NC. The ambiance was really great. The bar looked fun- I’ll try and sit there next time. The drinks were fantastic. I had a dirty martini and a mezcal drink- both were delicious. Will def try the food next time. The service was amazing as well!

Dot Dot Dot is one of the few “must see” bars in Charlotte. I’m not one to usually be wowed by most places, but I have to give credit where it’s due, and Dot Dot Dot deserves high praise. Their bartenders are absolute professionals, and we had a great time conversing with Rachel and Casey. They recommended multiple cocktails, and each was incredible. The menu is extensive, and don’t be afraid to try something new or a drink that might seem too far outside your norm. If it’s on the menu, you’ll probably like it! Cheers! 🍹 🥃

We have been going to Dot almost weekly for over two years and there's a reason we keep returning. It's is the place you go for expertly crafted cocktails prepared by knowledgeable bartenders. I would never say it was a bar that was suitable for everyone - for us, we appreciate the focus on the drinks and the atmosphere created by a lack of TVs, warmth from the staff and the sense that you're at a place that cares about presentation (both of the menu items and of its customers). We occasionally get food and it is consistently good, but the cocktails and people are what keep us coming back. For us, the cocktail menu is full of well-balanced drinks, and if you want to play around with different liquors/flavors, the bartenders are well equipped to make whatever you're looking for. Just keep in mind a lot of ingredients are seasonal. We do suggest, especially for parties of one or two who are serious about their cocktails, sitting at the bar if at all possible. But remember the bar is reserved too, so you can't just walk up and sit. For the people who complain about ID requirements - regardless of you age, don't go out to bars without your actual ID. I've been legally able to drink for 20+ years and I know I still need my ID when I go out drinking. Why would a bar want to possibly lose its liquor license because you didn't bother to plan ahead? Another point to clear up, membership is $10 per year, not $25 as someone erroneously said in another review. And we consider it money well spent.

Vibe was fun, cocktails were interesting and really good for the most part. Our party of 4 did several small plates and then shared two entrees. The food was all good but nothing really blew us away. It's a fun spot, and I would come back for drinks with friends, but I wouldn't come for dinner again.

Food was superb. The ability to modify menu items vegan was extremely appreciated. Beautifully designed. A little hard to see the menu with low lighting, but we managed. Total vibe!

My favorite speakeasy in Charlotte...the drinks and food are amazing. They also have food and cocktail themed tasting that are quite the experience. This place is great for a dinner date or a after work cocktail.

The atmosphere and charm of this small speakeasy makes me add Dot Dot Dot to one of my top 5 spots in Charlotte. The staff were extremely personable and genuine and never got tired of chatting and answering our questions. The food was exquisite and I'm excited to see what the chef comes up with in the Fall.

The drinks were really good here. My best friend got the pork belly which she really enjoyed and I got the pumpkin spice crème brûlée that tasted good but not fresh. I would come back here for drinks and maybe try a meal.

Thank you Dot Dot Dot for a wonderful night out with my hubby. From the time we sat down until we left we had such a good time. The food was absolutely divine. The drinks were phenomenal. We both had the steak and wow! Every Server/Crew in that building knocked it out of the park. They all knew the menu and what paired well. We will so be back!

While this place was difficult to find, (given the speakeasy theme), once inside it had a dark, moody vibe in the best way. Food and drinks were spectacular, albeit a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected given the experience. I was at another restaurant the next night and had their Old Fashioned but it not compare to DotDotDot’s. Highly recommend for pretty much any occasion.

Upscale well hidden speakeasy behind a garden center featuring comfortable tables, booths, and an incredible bar with knowledgeable staff and bartenders. Expert mixologists passionate about ingredients make exquisite cocktails unlikely to be found at most places. Jenna was especially well informed about base spirits, amari, mixers, and more and was able to create unique experiences in addition to the well designed standard menu. Went for a private event and food was outstanding. Will come again!

It’s not so much a speakeasy as a bar with a required membership. The food was ridiculously overpriced. We paid $16 for a “tapas” style plate of gnocchi. While tasting perfectly fine, it was six gnocchi. I think they fell into the Charlotte trend of saying they have tapas style food in order to get away with serving less for more. However, the cocktails were delicious. They ranged around $15 for house specialities. The bar would have been perfect for date night in its ambience.

Truly a special experience. My partner and I went here on our anniversary, and it was a great spot to facilitate good laughs and good times. We each ordered two different cocktails from their varied menu, and we were blown away by their spectacular presentation and flavor. We even got a complimentary glass of champagne for the special occasion! I recommend coming on an empty stomach and enjoying a few of the small plates. The menu changes often so I'll make a point to come back soon and try some more dishes.

A great place to gather and have some delicious food and drink. Frequently come here with my middle-aged parents for a dinner with conversation. Excellent cocktail list.

Canceled Membership! ... This was an unfortunate decision which has been looming sense their reopen after the 2020 shut-down. We have been members sense 2018 and loved, loved this place. Even purchasing the drink mixes and charcuterie boards during the shut-down to help the establishment and employees. This place has defiantly changed towards the ($$$$) Inner Circle group (as mentioned in one other review), of which we are not. just regular folk who enjoy splurging on good food, great atmosphere, and good people to hang out around, once in a while. Have decided to start exploring other restaurants and bars in and around Charlotte for the next ($$$) hidden gem without the inner circle priority. Wish you all the best with your future! Gave the 2 stars because we still like the place, just get the feeling the place does not like us back as suggested by the last time there, we were sat at a small table just before the back door, which is unfortunate...
