Yo... food horrible... chicken had no seasoning no salt pepper nothing and was below room temp. Greens needed Jesus the most. mac n cheese needed my great great grandmother prayers cause they were dried. Yams taste like someone forgot their bifocals and they picked up a can of pumpkin intead and tried to doctor if up. I hate to say this but somebody Grandmother(s) actually cooked this .... stop your Granny from embarrasing herself. If know she can't cook then do not allow her to cook at a Black Church. Instead have her watch your kids. I had my mouth fixed on redemption and instead was poisioned.

Food is great, good customer service. I have been going to third ward for about 4 months now. And god almighty it feels great to be apart of the family as a member of third ward. I was appointed a deacon of the united house of prayer for all people last Sunday. Members are phenomenal, pastor and his first lady are holding it down very well. We as members know a man who knows a man....

Kitchen ran out of to go boxes and the food didn't taste so good. Got the bottom of the pan of baked chicken Mac n cheese and collards and they still charged me $21.00 no love in the food. I will not be back

Love this place!! if you have never been here this is a must go you have to treat yourself. You going to get a home cooked meal with no MSG in it and it tastes really good and all the food is hot and fresh. In the customer service is great those ladies are really good in that kitchen. I appreciate their skills with the pots and their smiles on their faces.

Haven't been here for a while due to food was too salty. Came back last Thursday and the food was dy-no-mite. Missed coming three days a week so the Turkey wings are the bomb, Mac and cheese cabbage and candied yams yesssssahhhhhh...

The food is satisfactory, but it was even better before they closed for several months. The main thing that prevents me from coming back is the lack of customer service skills from the cashier. Most of the people I encountered were pleasant, but one person's attitude can damper the entire experience. You have to know how to speak to your customers respectfully if you expect them to come back. Edit: service has improved at the register. The food has also improved since a year ago. Only issue is getting food out on time.

Every since the chef left years ago, the food has not been the same, the mac and cheese is dry. I do not plan on eating there no time soon until the food gets better.

WOW. all i can say is AMAZING i went for the first time today and i got bbq turkey wings, mac & cheese, yams, rice & gravy, red velvet cake & corn bread. I am addicted. the best tasting soul food i have had in a long time. Defiantly going back

Amazing home cooked meals before every Panther football game.

Went here for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago.......lord you have answered my prayers.....the food was delicious and cheap. Had I been here 1st it would have saved me a lot of money on trying some of these not so good soul food restaurants. Staff was very friendly. We were greeted by the pastor and the 1st lady made our food. Thank you all for the great food and hospitality

Pastor call tow people to boot my car only was there 30 mins picking up my children from an event charged me $250 money I didn’t have to spend it seems like during this time of year holidays and inflation people just don’t care anymore and for you to be a pastor and say call the police was just crazy
