I would give this 0 starts if i could. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!! disgustingly dirty and horrid. I opened the door to my "suite" and the armchair was covered with stains and filth, carpet and floors were sticky. Turn the sheets down and found bugs in the bed. This hotel is not what i have come to expect of the Hilton brand. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Upon check-in, the first room I was in had an electrical problem with the lights in the kitchen and the closet door was hanging off the hinge. I was told it would be a few days before maintenance could look at my room. The furniture and carpet were stained beyond belief. The kitchen floor was sticky. The bed had small hairs and grease-like stains on it. Some of the towels were also stained. After requesting a new room (that was inspected by the front desk who told me is was completely clean), I found much of the same. Stained carpet and furniture, sticky floors, hairy bedding, and a broken bedroom curtain. The dishes and silverware were disgusting and had to be washed twice and the highest setting to look remotely clean. There was also an inconsistent amount of kitchen items (3 forks to the 8 spoons). My first room did not have a hair dryer but had a luggage holder. The second room was missing a luggage holder but had a hair dryer. After accepting the fact that all rooms were most likely the same, I stayed in the second room as little as possible out of pure disgust. The breakfast was iffy at best. The drinks were inconsistent (some days they only had a half gallon milk carton, some days only had apple juice, and others they only had water). The food was mostly inedible and at times hard to determine what it was (there was no menu either). The afternoon meals were only once a week (contrary to what all of their signage says) and that food was iffy also. They had conference room signs from early 2021 still posted (at nearly 8 months old, it shows the lack of attention to detail). For a 31 night stay, I had to ask for house keeping twice (it was suppose to be automatic every 5th night on extended stays). After the bedding and towels were changed, I had to reinspect everything in which I found more stains and hair. The kitchen floor was never cleaned. After leaving for one weekend during my stay, I requested a shuttle pick up from the airport over 24 hours in advance and was told I was on the schedule. After standing around at the airport for nearly 1.5 hours waiting, and a phone call later (after they ignored my message in the app), the shuttle arrived. The front desk told me the driver was “very busy” that night with runs to/from the airport. I never saw the shuttle while I was waiting. Overall, the staff was friendly but the property was a total mess. I would give the property 0 stars if I could. As a Diamond member, I was far from impressed and am hesitant to stay with Hilton in the future.

Although I’m a big fan of the Hilton Hotel chain, I’m pretty sure that I won’t be staying at this location ever again. The worse thing about my stay is that the white comforter on my bed was stained with several yellow stains. It was covered with the duvet so it wasn’t immediately seen. The fitted sheet kept coming off of the mattress also. There were cobwebs in the corners and the floor wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There was only one trash can in the room which was in the bathroom. The only other bin was for recycling. Breakfast was terrible! The tv’s need to be upgraded. I want to feel comfortable that the room is clean when I stay at a hotel. I didn’t feel that the room was properly cleaned or sanitized! This is a Hilton hotel so make it a Hilton! Never again.

The good: Friendly and accommodating staff, fantastic complimentary breakfast (including waffles and biscuits & gravy)! Relatively close to the airport. The bad: proximity to the airport means you can hear the jets flying overhead. Plus there was some sort of loud noise that kept repeating, I think it was the sliding door? And the HVAC blower was in one of the bedrooms, which woke me up when it cycled on and off during the night. Hint of marijuana smell crept under the door late at night. The ugly: some marks on the walls where it looked like a luggage cart had banged against it. Some stains on the carpets in various places throughout the hotel, although the floors in the room were fairly clean. The cabinets in the bathroom had the hardware removed and had apparently been screwed shut? But the holes for the hardware were still in the cabinets, so it was a bit odd looking. Overall, the impression was that the place could use some maintenance. Decent enough though, for the price. Would I stay here again? Maybe, if only for the biscuits & gravy. ;-D

Overall horrible experience, we will not be returning. It's very sad how fast a hotel can go downhill in a year. Last year was great, great staff, great rooms, clean, no problems. Last night was a different story, after traveling a long distance, as we have each previous time, we arrived at about 1 am. We had completed digital check in, but because digital keys do not work on two devices, we needed a physical key. By the reaction we received, you would have thought we asked for a heart donation. After receiving the key from the lady at the front desk, we loaded our bags onto the rolling cart, only to find out the elevator was adorned with an out of service note. This is apparently when the front desk lady also found out. It wasn't until we then struggled to find another elevator that the front desk lady decided to come yell at us, from the end of the lobby, down a hallway of I'm assuming what we're sleeping guests, that the out of service elevator is the only one to our room. Then she walked away. We return to the lobby, where she tells us to take the stairs. It was at this point, given the pure disdain she seemed to have towards us, that we became extremely frustrated. Here's where we made her do more work and really seemed to tick her off, we asked for a different room. There were no rooms like the one we had reserved. We ended up taking several trips up to the 3rd floor, okay, it's not like we can't walk, but in a hotel with several bags and things we expect to have a working elevator, especially with the times of day we often travel. We reach the floor and we're both just relieved to get into the room with the first set of items. That quickly fades when the smell in the room quickly wafts into our faces as we open the door. It was disgusting. It was disgusting all night. Nothing could clear the smell and there was no point in telling anyone given our experience 15 minutes prior. The room was overall much worse off than it was a year ago, definitely not taken care of. This hotel definitely does not live up to any Homewood Suites Hilton standards.

Let me start this off by saying 2 things that are important to the following review: #1 I have NEVER in my entire life had to leave a bad review for a hotel...EVER. and #2 the front desk staff was very understanding of the situation and seemed to know exactly why we were leaving and said they didn’t blame us and weren't surprised whatsoever, so they are aware of the problems....so....that being said here is my honest review...This hotel was beyond deplorable. We checked in and left within 30 minutes for a proper Hilton Property. How this is a Hilton Property is beyond my comprehension. I am speechless. Like, where do I even begin? This hotel is insanely outdated. The carpets are DISGUSTING! Hilton is supposed to update carpeting every 3 years as mandated by corporate. As Hilton employees were were shocked and appalled by the poor conditions. Every hallway...every room, every elevator reeks of cigarettes, mildew and weed. It's humid through the hotel. The carpet stains everywhere you look is vomit worthy. 🤢 The elevators moved at a snails pace. The staff sent us to the wrong elevator. Aparently the hotel is split in two. The rooms were not properly cleaned. Crumbs, fingerprints, and the white wipe test? 🤮🤮🤮 blackness. Stains on the chairs, bedding, even food stains and what appeared to be a fresh-ish glob of mud or other brown substance in the sheets. The kitchenette was dirty, there was soap scum and hair in the bath tub. Hardware missing from cabinets...I could go on and on. But I'll save you the rest of my bitter diatribes, but I digress... I am so shocked and appalled by the conditions of this property that I truly had no choice but to report to Hilton honors and immediately book another hotel. This was just bizarre... I should have read the reviews first. So given. That's on me for not doing my own due diligence, but y'all, Save yourself some nausea and sanity and don't even book this place....seriously. you'll immediately regret your decision.

I've always associated Homewood Suites with comfortable quality. This hotel does not represent that. The two good things I can say is the front desk staff are absolutely lovely and the bed was comfortable. However, upon arrival at the airport, I called for shuttle service. I was told someone would be by to pick me up shortly and where to wait for them. After waiting 45 mins, I tried to call the hotel and got to answer. I was lucky enough to get a ride from another shuttle from a nearby hotel. When I got to the hotel, I was told they had no shuttle service today. That the guy working was....not reliable. I was given a king room with kitchenette. Kitchenette has newer appliances and a good selection of dishes, but only knives and spoons for cutlery. No forks. Besides being dated, with stained furniture and threadbare creeping carpet, the room was simply dirty. Stains and dirt on the walls, doors and bedclothes. Dust and hair along every wall. I doubt the carpets or floor have been fully cleaned in ages. Cigarette burns on the toilet. The ceiling fan was badly out of balance. If you look around when walking the hotel hallways and elevator, you'll see the same dinginess, dirt and disrepair. All that was missing was a cockroach and I would have have been staying at a discount motor inn. All I can assume is hotel management pays their hurried cleaning staff the bare minimum and it clearly shows. For the price, pick a different hotel.

First room we got was absolutely disgusting. The place wasn’t vacuumed, the table and counter top had crumbs. The stove top was broken. The chair had stains. The bedding was dirty and had hair on the pillow. No hand soap. Wife went to try and change our room. They switched us but said that the place was full. New room was cleaner but still gross on the inside. Staaaaay away!

Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely. It's only a few minutes drive from the airport, and it's my preferred hotel when I'm in the area.

I want to preface this review by saying I am a loyal Hilton customer and travel a lot for work, with over 70 nights in Hilton brand hotels in the first 6 months of 2022. I typically love staying at Homewood Suites, which is why I wanted to write this review. Pros: - Front desk staff was very nice - Easy to find, convenient location Cons: - Old, dated carpet with multiple areas in the hall where the carpet is bunched up, which could be a trip hazard - Musty smell in halls and room - Gym had no towels, no sanitizing wipes, and only one working cardio machine. Much below the standard quality of Homewood Suites (one of the reasons I usually like staying at these) - Air conditioning in room is poor. With a forecast reading 90F outside, the coolest the room could get is 72F. Not a huge deal, but again, unusual for this brand or other brands at this price point. Summary: Not terrible, but definitely not up to the quality of the many other Homewood Suites and other Hilton-brand hotels I frequently stay at. I will not stay at this location again; and suggest to anyone else to look elsewhere to get a better value for their money.

If you're planning in going to this hotel especiallywith family or friends, I would advise you not to do it. I stayed here for a short time (1 month) and the hotel service is really horrible. The rooms are very run down and poorly maintained. I've never had a room cleaning done and just had towels thrown on the counter and just the trash emptied. If you stay they claim to do a cleaning once a week but it is never done. You'll have to deal with the rude staff and ask over and over for a cleaning. The room ac units are so bad I watched as the temperature would increase over the day and never stayed at even the lowest set temperature. The kitchen cabinets were leaning down which looked like they were about to fall off. There were spiders that came out as big as a fist in my friends room at night. There was a dead bug that never got picked up through all the "cleanings". The hallways and have a stench in them and it never seems to go away. The elevators barely work and seems like they'll break at any point, hell going up the stairs is faster. Long story short just avoid this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable stay, this one ain't it.

Hotel staff called to make sure we had checked in our reservation on the app at 10:45PM. (If you do not check in you cannot get in the room) I was asleep along with my wife, toddler and baby. Not to mention the bathroom tub was disgusting. There are plenty of other hotels to stay in Charlotte. Don't choose this one.

Stay away and avoid at all costs! This property is an embarrassment and not befitting of the Hilton brand. It is run-down and is more of a trashy motel than a Homewood Suites. The hallway carpeting is dirty beyond recognition with stains and wear and tear. The elevator is so slow that you don’t even feel movement and they have a placard making excuses to be patient with it vs. fixing it. My room keys initially didn’t work and had to deal with that at 11 pm after a long day, but was fixed. The front desk staff member was the only good thing about this place. The room itself was run-down and dirty. The kitchen floor was as sticky as a glue mousetrap, so I had to keep my shoes/socks. The upholstery of some furniture was visibly frayed. The TV console had a huge piece of wood veneer missing/burnt off. The nightstand had grease/residue from a former guest putting drink glasses on it. It came right off, indicating that it had clearly not been cleaned. The base of the nightstand lamp had so much dust that a dust bunny formed. The tub had rust like stains even though it was fiberglass. The toiletries were really bad quality as well (hair was like a Brillo pad after using them). The A/C was extremely humid and smelled of mold. Overall, one of the worst, if not the worst hotel or motel stay I’ve had. Luckily it was just for one night. I was confident in Hilton’s consistency in quality and didn’t look at reviews as I was in a rush. My experience was consistent with many of the reviews on here. The property should be shut down by Hilton corporate and forced into renovations or closure.

When we arrived, the man at the front desk seemed like he was upset because he had to do work and stop texting on his phone. He never welcomed us and made us feel like a bother. When we asked about the details of the breakfast, he said he didn't know the times and didn't ask anyone else to let us know either. I knew then that this was not going to be a good hotel experience. When we got to the room, the carpet which is a dark brown had red stains on it and was obviously old and dirty. I refused to touch the floors without shoes on. The sheets and towels were musty smelling- like they hadn't been properly laundered. Then I saw that we only had two towels in the room for 4 people. I called housekeeping and no answer, called the front desk and no answer. Then I walked to the front desk and was given 1 additional towel. The next night, we had a massive ceiling leak that dripped all night onto the master bed which forced all 4 of us to squeeze onto the sofa bed in the living room. When the front desk was alerted, we were told maintenance would be notified in the morning. There was no apology offered, nor a discount. I would never stay here again nor do I recommend it to anyone else. I would rather pay double or triple the price and have a good experience.
