Me and my wife’s experience with Donald Haack (Justin Smith in particular) was nothing less than outstanding. I was in the market for a 2c diamond. I happened to come across their website and had inquired about a specific diamond they had on their site. Justin emailed me back and was telling me important things to look for, and things to avoid when shopping for diamonds since I was new at diamond shopping. He was never pushy in trying to sell me anything. We communicated several times and he found a few diamonds he thought I may be interested in. I live in Winston-Salem where I had been dealing with a high end jewelry store that had a diamond I was interested in but they were super pushy and never offered to show me the diamond under the scope. I decided to make the drive and visit Donald Haack where I ended up making the purchase. It was a completely different shopping/buying experience than my Winston Salem store. Justin spent an extraordinary amount of time showing us a few diamonds under the scope and helping us decide on the perfect one. I brought my father’s signet ring in for a cracked shank. I had already received a quote from another well known local jeweler for over $800. Haack quoted me $300 for the exact same work. And their work is phenomenal. In fact, the shank is wider and stronger than before. They are consistently professional, honest, and fair and do what they say they are going to do. I’m not sure why I even went somewhere else for a quote, but it was a good reminder of why I’ve always used Donald Haack.

During COVID quarantine I’ve realized a number of things I need to get checked off of my master to do list including repair my engagement and wedding rings. Just a quick note of thanks and recommendation for Justin... several years ago my husband designed a beautiful diamond eternity band with Justin. I never take it off - I’ve been rough on it - but he carefully checks the setting a couple of times a year, makes any repairs quickly and brings it back to look brand-new!
