I cannot say enough good things about Windsor Jewelers in Charlotte. We drove up from the Upstate of South Carolina to look at watches (specifically Grand Seiko). My wife had spoken with David in the morning on the phone, but when we got there, he was busy with another sale. Totally not his fault, because we didn’t set a specific time but he was still apologetic and SO NICE about it. While he was busy, Ulrike came and helped us. WOW! She was incredible and so knowledgeable. She showed me some brands that weren’t even on my radar and was very gracious with her time. I ended up purchasing a really beautiful Grand Seiko… but because I have big wrists, it was too small. I had a quick turnaround time because I am leaving the country for work in a little over a week, so David and Ulrike went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure links could be added to my watch quickly. I honestly have never had such an incredible experience at a jeweler or a watch dealer. Period. Ever. Windsor Jewelers is a couple hours away from where we live when we are stateside, but I can promise you that they are officially the only place I will go for my watch pieces. Their level of service and stock (17 brands of watches) is out of this world. Worth the drive! You won’t be disappointed if you do business here.

My wife and I happened to come on an Octoberfest store day. We happened on our sales rep Adam after speaking to the rep for a new watch company. (Norqain) After some back and forth Adam took us to the Tudor display and that’s where I saw the new GMT Pepsi in the Opaline colored dial. What a beautiful watch! It didn’t take long to convince me this would be the watch to hand down to my son in the future. I also left my choices for a Rolex, and hopefully I’ll get a call one day. But for today, meeting Ben the owner and Ryan from Tudor was a great, and friendly experience.

I have visited multiple times now and the experience has been consistently excellent. The staff is vastly knowledgeable about all of their products, they are friendly and eager to help. We went to Windsor to see about having the wedding sets from both of my grandmothers plus a ring from my husband’s grandmother made into a new ring. Dan and Heidi helped us out and were so wonderful! They both agreed my husband’s grandmother’s ring ended to stay in its setting so we made that into a pendant. Then Heidi suggested my grandmothers’ rings stay in their settings and we made them into a stacked ring and added 2 eternity bands to the mix. I couldn’t be happier! I have something that means a lot to me now. Customer service was outstanding and I can’t recommend Windsor Jewelers enough!

Can’t give enough praise for Adam throughout my entire process of building an engagement ring. I drove up from Tampa to specifically work with Adam and I’m so glad I made the choice to do so. After looking at rings at a few other shops, the service was underwhelming and wasn’t the experience of buying a ring I expected. Then I went to Windsor Jewelers and it all changed. I told Adam ahead of time what we were looking for and he brought in several diamonds for us to be able to look at and was so patient with us, stayed late, and treated us like family. After needing to look at more diamonds, Adam sourced exactly what we were looking for within one week. I highly recommend working with Adam whether you’re looking to purchase a watch, ring, or other jewelry pieces. Adam is genuine, extremely knowledgeable, and will offer kind and helpful advice, and will make you feel great about your decision. He’s got that Midwest charm. You couldn’t ask for more when making a big purchase. It can be stressful, but working with Adam removed all of the stress and made it an extremely memorable experience.

I visited Windsor for the first time to see if they would be able to fix a cracked shank on my engagement ring. Heidi was incredible and super helpful, and Tom (the jeweler) was able to fix it that afternoon. I am so satisfied with how it turned out! The store is beautiful, and all of the employees had such a wonderful sense of hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again and will always go there for our jewelry needs!

From the second I walked into Windsor, Jackie Rowe and Ben Simon provided me the best service I could possibly ask for. Not to mention they provided dream watches for my best friend and I for my wedding that is coming up in a few months. Customer service is not dead.Do not let the posh Phillips Place location deter you. They employ real human beings who happen to be jewelry experts at this location, not sales sharks. I cannot recommend this location highly enough. In particular, due to two stellar experiences with Heidi. The first time (several years ago), I entered under duress, as I had placed my wedding ring set (not purchased from Windsor) on the opposite hand when my left hand was injured. Bad idea. My right hand swelled up around the rings and wouldn't budge. For days, I had tried to remove the rings from my swollen right hand. I came into Windsor, under recommendation, as a last ditch effort to see if the rings, with tiny stones all the way around, could be cut off and salvaged. Heidi has the expert hands of a surgeon and cut my rings off my finger exactly between the tiny stones. All stones were saved and they were able to do a beautiful repair in a timely manner. Today, years later, I entered with the same rings to see if Heidi could check my settings as a maintenance check. She spent time checking and testing the settings with a smile on her face. Years in between visits haven't changed her approach and professionalism.

This was my first experience shopping with Windsor for a new watch and I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. Mike Trescott was my advisor and he walked me through several brands. I am a watch casual collector, so I have a good idea of the different brands, but he took the time to explain some nuances of brands I have had less exposure to, treating me with the respect and courtesy one would wish for. We eventually ended up on the Grand Seiko brand, one I had not given any consideration to previously, and after a thorough explanation of the history of the brand and the movements offered I ended up with a beautiful new watch for my collection. I will be shopping and buying from them again very soon I am sure.

David located it at another Windsor in Winston Salem and took excellent care of having my purchase moved down to Chalotte expeditiously and delivered just in time. My wife had an issue with two of her watches that needed the attention of an experienced jeweler. We did not buy the watches at Windsor, but we dropped in and not one, but two wonderful employees rallied to her rescue: Ulrike Hood and David Hollis. I went into Windsor the other month in search of a watch for my fiancé before our wedding. He knows about watches, I do not, so I was a bit intimidated going into the store without much knowledge. My mother recently gifted me a ring that was my grandmother's that I needed sized 3 sizes down to fit, I took it to Diamonds Direct and was told it was impossible, the best they could do was 1 size down.. decided to pop into Windsor with no prior knowledge of the business just for a second opinion, they sized it down within 36h and even told me they could make it smaller if need be. The ring is beautiful, and everyone I interacted with in the store was so knowledgeable and respectful, they will be my first stop with any future jewelry needs.

I just purchased a new Seiko at Windsor Jewelers. I usually purchase JDM Seiko’s from overseas. This is my first watch purchase from an Authorized Dealer in the US. The service was OVER THE TOP EXCELLENT!!! If you decide to check out Windsor, ask for Heidi. Very knowledgeable and extremely patient. I can be quite a handful of a customer to deal with. I worked with James to get an every day luxury watch. Something nice, but something in a reasonable price range. He was fantastic! They have a huge selection of luxury brands including Rolex, IWC, Panerai, and Tudor to name a few. We settled on a Tudor. Several of the watches I had in mind were not in store. James contacted another location and had the exact timepiece I wanted in store the next day. Additionally, the offer military discounts on some items and jewelry. I cannot think of another luxury jeweler that offers military discounts on any gold, diamonds, or luxury timepieces. They has earned my business for life. When you go to spend some money on jewelry/watches, you expect that the sellers are knowledgeable, nice, patient. I found all of that at Windsor. It did not matter who I talked to, everyone were able to answer all my questions, nice conversations, and I never felt they wanted to push me out of the store once the business was done.
