This Planet Fitness was the best in Charlotte for many years but it has gone downhill. Always a mess every time I go in. Weights everywhere, paper towels everywhere. The women’s locker room tile is torn up, showers are taped off for months. Squat pads missing or torn up, cable accessories are missing, extremely worn at best. All this while staff is standing around. Do better. ***UPDATE*** Come thru Planet Fitness, ask and you shall receive!! All new equipment and I am here for it!!!! Now if we can get the tanning beds serviced and new bulbs we are running an A-Game franchise! Nice work and thanks for listening to your customers!

When I first signed up for the black card they told me that my guess can have the same benefits. They never told me that my guests couldn’t use the massage beds. Also I feel some of the staff there don’t have a whole Lotta knowledge with the equipment nor special remedies at the club . One time I went in and I asked for the chair and very rudely they told me there was no chair referring to the lobby chair and they knew I was talking about the massage chair. I just kept my cool and went with the flow. Then at one over with my day. I feel that the customer service could nprove a little more and give the members better service.

Not the best and it is a mid size planet fitness. Nothing is broken when I was here. It is clean but there are no paper towels in most of the dispensaries.

I always get asked what do i think of this gym by google. They cant ever be on time on the weekends. Parking lot full and workers late. Thats not how anyone wants to start their day. This is the worst part of this gym. Update SATURDAYS have been opened on time for a while.

My experience was great. Planet fitness associate, Mr. Tyquon was extremely professional and always ensuring the atmosphere is clean. I come here everyday and he takes time to speak and ensure everyone is happy. This is my favorite location and I plan on being a customer for a very long time. He definitely deserves a raise!!!

I've been doing an hour on the stairmaster.... y'all when I tell you, drenched when I leave. Lol. I really appreciate this location always having disinfectant solution available. Gives me the opportunity to really clean my machine down before and after each workout! Women's locker room may have a leak or something. Smells like mildew water. Other than that I really enjoy it here!

This planet fitness is a disaster. Constantly filthy. Paper towels rarely in the dispenser. Small, over crowded. Staff constantly just chillin. Equipment is clearly not maintained well, many machines are broken or having missing pieces/sticky parts. This particular planet fitness isn’t even worth the 10$ a month

This was my first time visiting this specific location as I recently relocated to Charlotte. I experienced a very unpleasant encounter with one of the employees, that goes by the name Michael, at the front desk. I didn’t really understand where the micro aggression was coming from, especially because it’s an diverse area. I hope to see change in the future.

Trucker from Texas here...front desk is friendly enough. Machines could use a little cleaning as well as the womens' restroom. Crowd is very diverse which was great. I will return if I'm in the area.

The amount reviews t about the workers not being able to show up on time on the weekends a year ago or 6 months ago are still correct. Its 7am, if you can't wake up for that get a new job or learn to go to bed on time and quit wasting other people's time and money

Used to be very nice. Now equipment, facilities are constantly broken down. For the 3rd day this week, they are not open on time, forcing me to drive to another location.

It’s been a while since of being a member of a gym and I have had nothing but good experiences at this planet fitness. The staff is very friendly and great to speak with. The facility is always kept extremely clean and I love that there are almost 2 of every workout station so you rarely have to wait to use a machine.

I was in town for business and have a black card for any gym location. In comparison to my planet fitness, I felt like this gym had old equipment and not nearly as well laid out as my primary gym. It's to packed and I get the space isn't big but remove equipment then. It makes it feel crowded

Always a mess everytime I go and the worse part no hot water,, 🤔 the only thing you want to do after work out it's a nice shower🚿 come on guys! just got home sweaty and smelling terrible .

This PF is always insanely busy. If you're lifting weights and going on a weekday evening/afternoon, you'll have a hard time getting a bench. Also, the bottle refill/water fountain station is broken and has been broken for 2 months now. Doesn't seem like something that should take that long to fix. Other than that, everything else is good

Watch your membership when you cancel because they will take your money and say you didn't! Get an email and a signed paper of your cancelation because they gonna keep charging you and say you didn't! Won't give a damn when you tell em!!!! Planet fitness, you robbed me!!! 😤

Definitely my least favorite planet fitness in the greater Charlotte area. I've been to all the planet fitness's in this area for reference. This gym has good equipment, but other than that it's not the best. It's always busy, and always smells like some cheeks

Where’s the A/C? Not sure if this is a known issue but it’s been hot and humid here for the past couple weeks. Feels fine when you walk in but once you start working out you start sweating immediately.

I have decided to give one star because of the following: My number one issue is the drinking fountain. It is always broken. And whenever it is "fixed," the filter is never replaced. I talked to them about how red the light indicator was, and they told me, " Oh, we are going to fix it it's been3 weeks. And till the moment I am writing this review, it's still not fixed . And number two is it's too small and gets overcrowded, especially Mondays . Also, crime!!!! My car was stolen right there in front while I was working out. I went to the front desk to ask for the camera footage. They said they don't have outside cameras. We looked from the inside, but the footage was terrible. You can't even see anything it was blurry. Luckily, the police found my car after a month and half of search. So this place needs more fixing to do .one star and nothing more!!!

Everything here is just great and it is always a pleasure to come here and enjoy my workouts. I do enjoy being able to listen to the news and other programs while I am working out.

Only 4 of the tall lockers in the men’s room are available to put a lock on. The rest are broke. Have been asking to get fixed for 2 years. As of jan 2, still not fixed. Please read review before telling me to contact local management. I have done that for 2 years with no response. Shameful.

Honestly the gym does need some work! Nothing happens overnight!! I do know a lot of people that complain are the issue!! They write reviews instead of talking the the people in the gym! They write all these bad reviews and complain but stay coming back to this very same gym!! This gym has been in a worst state then it is now!! Keep up working on this location💯💯💯

Always something broken. Water filters never changed. The lady with the glasses who is usually there in the morning is always harassing clients. Bathroom always stinks.

There are 2 in the area. This place was clean and the worker was extremely nice. Nice place with typical planet fitness equipment.

Don’t join at this location . The manager Neiby is super rude and lack good customer service . Ladies be careful with this location as well .

They are weird with the massage chair on nov 1st I ask to use the chair as there was no one else in the gym. I paid for my membership I should be able to use the amenities as I please as long as no one else is waiting

Great facility. Lots of equipment and a great staff. Very clean and mostly new equipment.

Newer equipment but very disorganized. Seems like machines and cleaning stations were just thrown all over the place with no thought in mind at all. Really wish I had a better experience.

Arrived Saturday around 7:25 in the morning. No one's here at gym . Doors locked TV 's. Needs new management at this location.

Been trying to come here for over a month. Way to overcrowded. Doesn't matter what time a day. Never once have I been able to even use a bench press. Every machine is taken. No point in paying a membership when you can't even use the equipment. It would take hours just to do a 30 min workout. Worse than Disney World with all of the waiting

I love that I am able to workout with my 15yr old and there are no issues. The gym is always clean when we come in. They have plenty of cardio workout machines, I always able to get in my 2miles on the elliptical.

Clean facility, equipment is in good working condition, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms/locker rooms are well maintained.

The app is very user friendly. It has lots of resources and information. You can even do workouts at home. I love Planet Fitness and the option of having the Black Card allows me use all facilities nationwide when I travel. I don't have to miss a beat.

Tiffany is sooo pleasant and greets you upon arrival and departure everytime! It gives a warm feeling of caring and appreciation. Go Tiffany 2 thumbs up. Hopefully, this will inspire her colleagues to do the same!

I recently started back on my fitness journey in March. I was met with a very friendly staff, a clean environment, and nice people who were able to assist me and encouraged me on my fitness journey. No matter what time I go there's always equipment available for me to use. I want to give a personal shout-out to Elias, Jordan, Charles, Brandon, Tia, and Tiffany... They're the best frfr!!

Great location, tv channels have fallen off.... Today, 5 TVs out of the second batch of 12 had either dish network paid programming or were turned off. Used to enjoy the closed captions on these TVs... Used to have better selection months ago. Great distraction when reading news while working out on machines

Today was my first time coming back to planet fitness since I had moved, so i was very aware that i might have a balance due to inconsistency. But i just wanted to check it out and i had spoke with a manager Sabrina and she was not welcoming or informative of what my next steps could be to resolve the issue but when I came back and spoke to the GM Tia she was very helpful, understanding, and welcoming and was aware of Sabrina’s not so good attitude about the situation and made me want to keep my membership and come back again. Thank you so much, GM Tia❤️.

Planet Fitness is a Rip Off, I apparently signed up for the end of the year 30day trial in 2020 online by accident; Never stepped a foot in Any Planet Fitness Door happened to looked at my bank statements yesterday in 2023 and I have been charged almost $300 dollars a year up until yesterday and they wouldn't even credit me back a dime even after them having no track record of me even going to any location. unless you SERIOUSLY NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT OR HAVE HEALTH CONDITIONS that Requires you too do so I wouldn't recommend planet fitness. There are cheaper options like the YMCA income waiver for your entire family, Charlotte recreation centers and much more all with no annual fee or recurring payments for service you don't use. Thank me Later.. and watch your bank account they'll charge you $12.00 three times a month.

The disinfectant bottle are empty sometimes and the paper towels are almost always out at one or more stations. I've mentioned this to employees and they addressed the issue at that time. However, that should be something that they are on top of at all times! The pilates ball has been nearly deflated forever and now it's gone. Bring back that ball at the Freedom Dr location!!!!!!! The water fountain doesn't work properly and the bottle refill part does not work at all. This has been going on a long time😑
