The hotel is on the second (European first) floor of a residential building across the street from Winterfeldplatz. The signs are not well lit and the stairwells are worn, but the rooms themselves are newly renovated, large, bright, and very comfortable. You're paying for a nice room in a great location (in the middle of restaurants and a couple blocks from the Ubahn) and not the services associated with hotels. For instance, the front desk is only open 10am - 10pm, but we made arrangements to arrive late and they are available to answer questions via WhatsApp. You also have to pay to use the coffee machine, but you are across the street from a coffee shop and in the middle of many cafes. Gaststätten und Kaffees sind direkt vor Ort und etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der kurzfristige Service war ohne Beanstandungen und sehr schnell und höflich. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten und sehr sehr sauber. Wir waren eine Nacht dort und das war super und hat ausgereicht. Gefrühstückt haben wir woanders. Der Besitzer war super Mega freundlich. Mega cooler Typ :) gerne kommen wir wieder. Dankeschön

Feb. 2024 for 3 days was my 3rd time staying here in the last 7 years, and it has held up time and again. I recommend it to everyone: younger/older, singles/couples, gay/straight. Just a great place to stay.

Ich schreibe die Bewertung für meine Mutter die vor kurzem mit ihrer Freundin hier genächtigt haben. Die beiden waren sehr zufrieden. Nette Atmosphäre. Zimmer einfach aber sehr sauber und für einen Städtetripp optimal. Die Lage ist top.

Die Pension ist außergewöhnlich, da man von außen erstmal denkt, wo bin ich denn hier hin geraten. Dann hat man den ersten Kontakt mit dem sehr sehr netten Besitzer, der alles möglich macht! Die Zimmer sind im „Berliner Stil“ gehalten, sehr sauber und leise, selbst wenn man ein Zimmer zum Winterfeldtplatz hat. Ich werde gerne wieder kommen! Vielen Dank für alles!!!

If you want a cheap room for a lads holiday then it's great but for a business trip it's too noisy to sleep more than a few hours. Drainage backed up into my room in the night and reception doesn't open till 10am but other than the noise and drainage issue it's very clean and the rooms are of a decent size

Unser Besuch bei Ihnen Ende Oktober war ausgesprochen schön! Die Zimmern sind groß und gemütlich, die Lage ist perfekt (sehr nahe an U-Bahn) und die Gegend um euch herum (Schöneberg) ist sehr schön ! Das Team im Hotel-Pension Michele ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr nett! Das Hotel Michele ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wir kommen allerdings bestimmt wieder!!
