I am a nurse and honor graduate student at UVA obtaining my masters and still, I was publicly lynched here. I was accompanied by a friend and his buddy who was an off duty bartender. The place has multiple levels, but none of them are for people of color. After exchanging what I assumed was playful banter with a group of Caucasian women behind me I had two bouncers come to me and ask me to leave for “grabbing two white girls’ ass”. Although the accusation was preposterous, there was no hope for resolution beyond me leaving for scaring the pretty white women sitting behind me. I was completely sober and cooperative, yet the manager would not come to speak with me. Extremely humiliating and sad for a business in 2022, but probably par for the course in good old Charlottesville. Being a Chicago native, I had a chat with the two young black bouncers that were sent to remove me and reminded them who we were, where we’re from and where we’re welcomed. I can’t help but feel that if this was 70yrs ago I would be floating in the Tallahatchie river beside Emmit Till. Black men stay far away and instead enjoy a night out at The Biltmore or Rapture where you’re welcomed. You have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND to believe that I made it this far in nursing or survived 30yrs in this country grabbing on young white women. This place is a culmination of the entitlement and dirty little secret of racist, bigoted Charlottesville. Lesson learned.

Went here and had a $20 tab but I forgot to close out. Bartender proceeded to tip himself $40 to bring my tab to $60 total. 200% lol. Thankfully my bank notified me, but won't be going back. Good for him I guess

"Vodka pineapples were solid portions." Winter months and warms bodies are a plus. A little musty, use deodorant. Very packed but still had a good time. Bunch of college students bc there is a college nearby and it's finals week so ofc everybody is out and celebrating the semester being over. Our Irish pubs back home just have one rule drink til you drop 🤣.

Where do I even begin? From the staff, to the selection of delicious beers and beverages, and the amazing food specials, Trinity hits on all of the 3 S’s of service. The manager, Austin, is everything you could ask for in the hospitality industry and the staff are all lovely folks. Definitely check out the burrito and wings and keep an eye out for some great pitcher specials. Don’t forget to come in on game days and support the Hoos! You CANNOT go wrong with Trin. Best spot in Charlottesville no doubt about it.

Please don't bother going here. It's not a true Irish pub. It's just some college kids working there who will ignore your requests for refills, neglect to check your id, and forget to even provide you your bill while they flirt with each other. Definitely not making the mistake of going here again. I had to leave cash on the counter and leave because they never even brought me my check.

Waitstaff are friendly and good at their job! Young man who works the bar is rude and condescending to customers and fellow staff. Overpriced for the quality. Two men were arguing on the sidewalk, screaming obscenities throughout the meal. Staff did nothing to alleviate. It’s all part of the Trinity ambience, I suppose.

Came here to wait on a reservation for brunch. Loved the vibe, the staff was super nice and friendly. Who doesn't love a bar opened at 10am?!

We just stopped here for a quick bite. The bar area was not very nice so we sat outside. The waitress recommended a chicken wrap topped with Buffalo sauce. It was not bad....also they had red bull on tap so that was good. We also got chicken fingers...they were not as good. They have a nice outside area.

Came in for a drink and dinner. After a drink, I had to leave. Several of the bartenders were vaping behind the bar.

This place was mediocre. I got a different meal than I ordered, soft drinks were flat and the food that did arrive was just ok. I wouldn't go back.

Ordered two drinks and the bartender made 3. Told him we only ordered 2 and he still charged us for 3. Not the best experience. The drinks wernt good either.

Not impressed with this place. Tried to have dinner with a party of three. Entered for dinner, walked upstairs, and was rudely told the upstairs was closed. However, there was no sign, nothing blocking the upstairs and no one to greet us at the front door. The group behind us got the same treatment and also complained. You should think of treating customers and potential customers with more tact and a measure of politeness. Isn’t that the Virginia way?

Kendall was so friendly and really made our experience at Trin great. We all got chicken tenders and they were awesome. Thank you Kendall #bae #bestserverever #giveheraraise.

First floor of the bar was barren. I didn’t feel like I was in an Irish inspired bar, but rather someone’s basement. I ordered a Guinness and was shocked it came in a cheap plastic cup. It also tasted as if the tap lines hadn’t been cleaned in a while. From the website I assumed this was a high class place. So disappointing. Call John Tapper!

Bartender working on June 27th afternoon kicked my fiancé out for buying a pitcher to celebrate our engagement before I even had a chance to walk into the bar. Was negligent to even let my fiancé close out the tab and then lied about being management—my fiancé had to remind the bartender he had an open tab to close out if he was going to be kicked out. That’s what you get for hiring people fresh out of Monticello high school to “run” your bar. Will be following up with actual management.

Busy, lively campus pub atmosphere. Bartenders very friendly and efficient.

Do not go to this bar. They charged my card for 6 different purchases that I didn't make because they thought we weren't going to check it. We had to have $50 worth of charges reversed with the bank.

One of the best places in Vienna for a good drink. Friendly stuff, nice atmosphere ,like you are in pub in Ireland!!

Went for a Bill’s game a loved the food and drink specials they had and the regulars there made it a lot of fun! Food and service were great!

Luke is an amazing food runner who is quick, polite, and attentive. I will return frequently for service of this caliber!

This place is the absolute best. Staff is always friendly and attentive. They are constantly adding new items to the menu and never disappoint. If you are in the area, there is no better spot for a bite or drink at any time of the day!

This bar bounced me on my 21st bday and ruined my night. The bouncers are college kids who have no idea how what a real ID is

these are high school dropouts or college kids thinking they are hot stuff. Worst customer service I have ever received. They have kids drinking back in the bar hope ABC gets on these guys quick. They let everyone under age in specially since they have a high school kid working in as a bouncer truly embarrassing. These guys are due for a huge law suit the way they feel welcome to treat guest and put their hands on them. They are also very racist this has to be the worst bar ever and specially un responsible by whoever runs it. Heard the owner and their managers always party together and don’t care about under age kids getting in and their customer service hiring kids with no experience truly sad and awful. Hope ABC gets on these guys horrible everything GET BETTER.

Came in at 1:20 on brunch day to get the $3 mimosa special, literally made eye contact w every single server as they walked past us, sat down and checked their phones for 35 mins, at which point we decided to just leave. Very disrespectful & unserious establishment
