Very quiet and peaceful. Absolutely gorgeous view! It's a nice quick hike up to get here. There are small "trails" around the body of water as well. The water is pristine and serene. Highly, highly recommended!

A short hike with spectacular views. But you have to climb a steep area to be able to get to this viewpoint (see picture). Swim at your own risk. The area is unsupervised. No picnic tables, no toilets around. There are other trails around if you want to explore the area.

Beautiful hidden gem in Cabot trail (Cheticamp), this privately owned trail is open to public with a small hike to this blue water lake with beautiful white gypsum rocks. For the views of the lake from top you must climb a very steep hill/cliff. Definitely not kid/senior friendly but worth the view. Heard you can swim in the lake on not so breezy and cold day. This trail has garbage cans and highly recommend the hikers to clean up after themselves. There are a few park benches to sit throughout the trail and by the lake but no sitting areas or picnic benches. This trail however is missing a portable/outdoorsy bathroom. There is also a parking lot with free parking for large vehicles like the RVs as well.

It’s so stunning view. You have to trail for about 3 kms to reach the spot. The water is so pretty and so calm and peaceful nature around. And there is spot where u can climb the cliff with the rope and get to enjoy the marvellous view of the lake from the peak. Not to miss the rocks 🪨 where u can click decent pics at the peak.

Phenomenal view if you can make it up the little steep hill. Fortunately, there is a rope to help. Would not recommend making the climb up if it is raining or just finished raining as it can be slippery. Make sure you have shoes with tread if you want to make the climb up.

We didn’t go swimming but wish we did! There were areas to climb and jump into the water. It wasn’t too busy either. There is a short hike to get to the water so I would suggest wearing running shoes to walk to the water and bring a pair of slippers for swimming. Not much shade either so apply sunscreen!

I honestly didn't know what to expect but this place is a must see. Just beautiful! The swim was perfect on a hot summers day.

Just wow. There's a parking spot 1 km away from the water. No room to place your things really, went in for a swim water is gorgeous, cold and clear. It was however very busy.

Breathtaking view. Don't stop at the lake, climb up to the view point. The view is worth every effort. One of the most iconic views in the whole Cabot Trail.
