The panoramic vista is nothing short of spectacular, offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. It's the perfect spot to pause, catch your breath, and take in the beauty of nature. The pathways are clearly marked, making it easy for visitors of all ages to explore and enjoy the surroundings. Suggestions: the toilets needs more frequent maintenance. Waterfountain needs repair works

Wow just wow!!! My face was permanently like this: ๐Ÿ˜ฎ walking around this place. It's peaceful, tranquil, very quiet and simply stunning. There are lots of trails to choose from that take you around and in between the woodland. Around this there are pastures and fields so please be mindful if you got a bubbly doggie as at some point there might be livestock grazing. There's no fencing around either. We did not see any horse tracks along the paths so if you stick to the middle of the woodland you should be ok. Surprisingly though the woodland was not muddy even though we've had wet weather, I would still recommend walking boots or wellies. Most of the trails are easy going relatively flat but there are few that will get your heart pumping a bit faster, so a bit for everyone. Further inside you go the place becomes soooooo quiet you can literally hear your blood running. It's just incredible ๐Ÿฅฐ we're definitely going back.

We've been here several times over the past 4 or 5 years and have never walked the same way twice! It's full of nooks and crannies and places to explore! My kids always love the adventures we have and the cafe and park are an excellent treat and reward at the end.

Super day out. Nice fresh day, but warm. Great routes around. Our little boy was learning to read his map. Pretty solid underfoot with a few rocky, and areas with roots. Our 3 year find it easy going.

We met at the car park and enjoyed the Sculpture Trail. Leaflets are provided. I had been previously but my friends not. New & old sculptures to be seen but us oldies were useless at the 70 little ceramic men sitting the trees. We only got to 17 where a mum + 2 children had 26.

The woods and the sculptures were great. Well worth a afternoon out with the family and dogs. The car park is ยฃ1 which is not to bad and you can park as long as you like. There is a play area for the kids and a cafe which closes at 4pm. Service was a bit slow. Had to wait for 1 drink after all my family had already even served and they had finished there drinks by the time I had mine. Other than the cafe well worth the trip out. Also not far from Beacon Hill and Beaumanor Hall.

Great place to walk the dog. Lots of different paths or you can go off piste and get lost! Beautiful broad leaved woodland in summer, Bluebells in Spring and fantastic Autumn colours too. Also has an added attraction of some of the oldest rocks on Earth: precambrian rock dating some 600 million years old. Has cafe there now too.

Lovely morning at the temporary sculpture trail. Great area to have a walk around in general with an excellent cafe (and pastries). Toilets available on site, but keep a pack of tissues handy!

Love, Love, Love this place. Canโ€™t get enough. Itโ€™s therapeutic, full of life and when we visit there was a display of some of the most amazing sculptures by local artists. If you want to get away from it all for a couple of hours then Outwoods is the place to go.

A beautiful place to walk around...very peaceful and not too overrun with walkers at the time of my visit ( August Sunday afternoon). Wasn't sure how long the walks took or if the distance ( missed the map at the entrance) so had a wander for about an hour. Very relaxing.

Very beautiful and there were lots of blue bells, which is what we wanted to see. Nice walk although some sections were muddy and therefore slippery. There's a viewpoint from where you can see Loughborough's countryside. Toilets are not that great. So just manage your expectations with that
