Nice little shopping centre. Good shops and afew eating places and a coffee shop. It's very convenient for me as it takes five minutes in the car from where I live. The parking is not too bad most of the time. I really like Thurmaston shopping centre.

Multiple shopping options to name a few TK max, poundland, Hobby store and quite a quick service restaurant like McD, Greggs. The other side is ASDA and accessible. Good parking space. A city bus is also a good option to go to Thurmaston.

Always too busy, parking is a nightmare. Shops decent though with a good variety to suit all. TK Maxx is my favourite store. We always pop in M&S to grab some bargains later in the day when the parking has dies down.

Over the years the shopping centre has improved with the change of outlets. There is a good balance of clothing and accessories retail, home items and beauty items. Length of visits are limited due to lack of customer toilets and the automated number plate cameras. The shopping centre is a convenient alternative to a trip into the city centre.

Our usual shopping place. My 2nd fav shopping place to go in Leicester. Shops are all great. Sports Direct, Starbucks, Greggs, M&S Food-hall, Hobby Craft etc. There is also a McDonalds, Pizza Hut And Asda opposite the shopping centre.

Good selection of shops including Next, Hobby Craft, Marks and Spencer, Boots, Dunelm, Poundland etc. The car park does get very busy at times though.

Highly recommended if you want to get scratches and tiny little dings on your car. Always busy parking spaces can't be any tighter. Better to park at asda and walk

Shopping is good but the car park is not sufficient and frequent back logs. Enjoy having M&S, Next and Starbucks close at hand.

Visited for Starbucks which was lovely. Was able to get parking close. I've often found the car park to be busy on most other visits in the past and it is very tight to manoeuvre. There's a good choice of shops there now, definitely worth visiting if you want to avoid Leicester city centre.

I visit frequently to get coffee on the way to work. However received a parking fine for a visit 5 months prior advising I had stayed too long when in fact it was 2 trips ( on the way to work then on a lunch break) The faulty anpr system didn't detect me leaving the first time. The fine was cancelled However no apology provided.

Always busy even during the week. MacDonalds Car Park becomes the overflow. Shopped at Dunelm which had stuff we needed. Car drivers don’t look or stop which makes it risky. Just to much going on for the Car Parking allowed.

Appallingly designed car park. As if it were laid out for Morris Oxfords and Austin sevens. Absolutely park at Asda and walk across if you have need of the dreary identikit shops lurking here

Sometimes I feel that the store options here are limited, but I love visiting this shopping centre as there are nice places to eat and affordable shops.

Good variety of shops. There's plenty of parking although it is very tight to get round and can easily clog up during busy times. Not many parent and child spaces.

A nice little shopping centre. My main reason for todays visit was to get a few groceries from Asda and do a return at Next. The shopping centre is small and the carpark can feel quite crowded. It can often take a long time to get out of the shopping centre with the traffic light controlled roundabout

My go to for a quick nip to the shops!! Good selection of merchants and good opening hours means it's really convenient.

Good collection of shops but parking could be a lot better, very tight parking spaces

A wonderful shopping complex consisting of Sports Direct, Boots, 02, TX Maxx, Pizza Hut, and McDonalds, just to name a few. Across the road is a large ASDA, which is brilliant to do all of your day to day shopping.

This place would be better but the car park and the road system around here is terrible. Better than city centre and better than going all the way to Fosse park if you live this end of town. Shops are ok though, decent variety.

Having visited different Sports Direct stores, I would say that this store must be the most crammed. It seems they want the same amount of stock as their larger stores, with less than 50% floor space. However I will add that the efficiency, attitude and professionalism of the staff offsets the downfall of floor space. Highly recommended 5*

Lots of shops to fulfil needs, such as Asda, M&S food Hall, Sports Direct, and many more. However, I feel there is a lack of spaces available for disabled people wishing to visit. There have been many occasions that I have witnessed, where disabled bays have been taken by able bodied people. There is no clear signs and no monitor in place. I have been to many retail parks that clearly ensure there are adequate bays available for those with a blue badge, and this needs reviewing asap.

Routine out of town shopping experience. The usual names (in this case including Boots, Dunelm, Superdrug, Poundland, Next and Asda all built around a too small car park with poor access.

A pleasant place to do your shopping quietly. In this location you can find almost everything you need for everyday use. The atmosphere, both outside and inside the stores, is pleasant. At most stores, the clerk is very kind and jumpy when needed. For me, this location where I still shop has offered me a pleasant experience every time. I warmly recommend visiting the location, even if you don't live nearby, you won't regret it. Succes for shopping.

Shopping retail Park like any other, good choice of shops and sufficient parking. Can get busy especially weekends. Its situated opposite Asda supermarket, so additional traffic congestion due to this, as only one road leads to both places.

Has the majority of essential shops you would need which can save a trip into Leicester City centre. Parking can be a nightmare during peak times but that just goes to show how popular it is.

An amazing local shopping area which helps instead of going so far. Wish there was a cinema nearby.lol Overall pleasant place but can be very busy on peak dates

If you are just looking to go for a little shopping trip without the hassle of a packed town centre then thurmaston shopping centre is great for you, there are a range of shops in one area with an added advantage of a large Asda just over the road in walking distance, it can get rather busy on a saturday but it's well worth a visit

I have loved shopping here for years. There are a large variety of shops in a relatively small area. Very easy to get to from all over Leicestershire.

  • 4/5 Desiree M. 1 year ago on Google
This shopping area is small, but a good variety of shops: Asda, tk maxx, boots, Claires, Dunelm, pizza hut, McDonalds, m&s food, mountain warehouse, Hobbycraft and more. However, because it is so small and popular, I would not recommend visiting during peak hours as the carpark and roads leading to it get very hammed up. It's a reasonably pleasant shopping experience though

Small, compact, shame that some shops were shut when I visited esp the week before Christmas . So that's a #fail to #Claire'sAccessories and #Greg's for a cold chicken bake.

Great shopping centre! Has food restaurants, art, sports, general needs, cafe and even clothing! The hobby craft is always great for my art needs and the sports direct is good too! There is always good deals there. Asda is across the road and has good petrol prices

A small shopping centre but has good shops on site. Has a Poundland, a Dunelm and a Boots among the shops as well as a number of eateries. Enough parking for the size of the shopping centre.

Pretty much all sporting items. Refund policy is naf (only credit notes), odd sizes - not fit for multiple purchases of the same item (different colours etc)...

Really nice with some nice shops and you can grab a coffee and snack or you've got pizza hut and McDonald's,something for everyone

Big shopping center on the outside of the city, good location and easy to reach. Here you will find different shops from a starbuck coffee to sportswear and a McDonald come and enjoy ample parking.

Very nice here. Dunelms is one of my favourite shops and Next. Hobbycraft wasnt very big, Boots staff were very helpful.

Shopping center itself is fine, a good variety of shops. Wish there was a homely cafe up here and not all corporate like there is now. Cant beat a family run cafe the are more tailored to people and you mean something, unlike the ones at the center at present. The worst thing about the center is the car park. It is FREE but that is where the good points stop. The car park is small as in very tight to manoeuvre around and even park. Disability spaces are few. Its extremely busy car park with people and cars trying to move about. Entering the car park is horrendous. You enter straight off a tight small roundabout that blocks very fast as it also feeds a busy supermarket across the way. Planing for the parking is very poor. Once parked then the shops are in good access for all.
