I
came
to
my
hygienist
and
dental
check
up
recently,
all
good
with
no
problems
with
my
teeth
but
there
were
such
widely
differing
experiences
with
the
practitioners.
The
dentist
(Romy)
and
the
two
dental
nurses
were
lovely
as
always
but
the
hygienist
was
a
bit
rough
and
I
wondered
how
much
further
he
though
my
mouth
would
stretch.
Even
the
polishing
hurt
and
I
was
left
with
a
mouthful
of
gritty
polish
even
after
I
had
rinsed
several
times,
the
dental
nurse
helped
me
clean
off
all
the
bits
that
were
stuck
on
my
face.
When
the
hygienist
had
finished
my
treatment
he
just
turned
his
back
and
got
on
with
what
was
on
his
laptop.
He
was
thorough
though
taking
25
minutes
and
led
me
to
wonder
how
the
normal
hygienist
could
do
a
treatment
in
10
minutes
but
still
charge
£60.00.
and
wondered
if
this
was
because
I
am
an
NHS
patient.
I
felt
the
hygienist
was
rather
abrupt
with
the
dental
nurse
as
well,
and
I
really
felt
for
her.
The
dentist
and
receptionist
both
asked
of
my
experiences
with
my
hygienist
appointment
and
I
gave
my
opinions
verbally.
I
did
make
clear
that
the
dentist
and
nurses
were
great.
I
have
always
found
Premier
Dental
to
be
professional
and
courteous
but
on
this
occasion
I
was
pleased
for
my
appointment
to
be
over.
However
I
have
now
been
booked
with
a
different
hygienist
and
will
look
forward
to
the
visit
without
trepidation.
