Came as a photographer for a friend who has WW2 US naval attire, so we could do some photos. Staff were super helpful and attentive. Amazing piece of history, literally stepping in the footsteps of unsung heroes.

A good way to see what life would have been like on a Royal Navy frigate. Be prepared for a lot of climbing up and down ladders.

This ship has a wheelchair accessible bridge around the otherside of the non-wheelchair enterance, if you ask the staff for help they will be happy to help you get on board, once you are on there you can see the main deck of the ship but there is a ladder to see the top deck which isn't wheelchair accessible

Overnight stay with 21 8 - 10 year olds. Great talk and tour from Tracy and Karen. Thanks to Joanna for looking after us all night and the restaurant staff for Dinner and Breakfast. Staff were amazing. Only issue was only two toilets and one is very noisy when flushed but awesome.

Large ship to explore. Alike HMS Gannet, you do not need to book a tour. You can explore the ship at your own leisure. Some rooms are closed off and there are ropes in many places limiting where you can and can't go. You can still explore a large section of the ship including going up to the bridge.

What a brilliant day out. It has been a while since I have been here we spent six hours and still did nt get round all of it. We had a tour of Ocelet the nuclear submarine. . The ropery worth a visit and see how different ropes are made and the history of rope making. Caverler royal naval steam boat and a walk around a frigate . Plus the old Smith work shop . Mast making and the life boats a brilliant day out with plenty to do and see . A payment of £25 for a years ticket and to visit as many times as you like or if you go on line in will cost you £ 22 for adult and £13;for children over five . There is a train and play areas for children . Two resturants and places to visit with the story of chatham dock yards . . Well worth a visit and you will want to come back again .

Great interesting place. Good information. Very eye opening. Booking on the different tours is worthwhile. We had a great day despite torrential showers. Return visits are a must.

Great battleship within the Historic Dockyard. Don't let little ones run crazy as a lot of trip hazards. Loads of things to touch, grab, twist and look at though. It's not a toured thing, least not when I visited, but that makes it easier to do with child.

I personally don't like boats but the guides were very informative and made it very interesting. I recommend going to see the lounges as they are very interesting.

Great History of the Royal Navy, over 400 years of the historical dockyard birth place of HMS Victory and HMS Cavalier the last distroyer built and WWII veteran, with the last P&O boat (Submarines) being built in Chatham.

👍 Amazing place full of military history, lots to explore with amazing views. Didnt get to do the tunnels as ticketed and full today, but an excellent reason to return. The grounds are free to visit, so a real must. Lovely cafe well priced and food is good. Nice to find out that it serves breakfast,...
