Capstone Form Country Park covers 114 hectares of former farmland set on the North Downs. There are a variety of habitats withing the park there, including ancient woodlands, old orchards, fresh water lake with swans, ducks and seagulls, meadows and hedgerows. Many of woods and hedgerows are more then a hundred years old. You can use different trails for your walks or cycling there and enjoy fresh countryside air. There are playground for kids, cafe, which is working 7 days a week with last order for all food at 3 pm, toilet facilities, and 2 decent size car parks. The car parks are free of charge, so you are not limited for time you are spending there. Although, the closing time ( in August) is 8:30 pm, Sept - 7:30 pm, Oct - 6:00 pm, Nov - Feb - Main car park- 5:00 pm, Drow Hill - 4:30 pm, March - 6:00 pm, April - 7:30 pm, May - July - 8:30 pm. Also it is closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. There are plenty of benches to have picnic or just relax and enjoy the area around there too! Great place to bring kids and dogs. Although dogs are not allowed at Round Grade Woodland, other areas are safe. We have had a great afternoon there, luckily for us was sunny day too! :)

Capstone country park is one of my favourite place to get my steps in. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets, never too crowded, dog friendly etc. Lots of different walking paths, an orchard, old ruins, lots of trees and plant life, horses etc. There's also a lake with fishing podiums, swans / ducks, children's playground, cafe, plenty of car parking. Lots to do near by as well such as the snowsport center and alpaca farm. Plenty of pubs nearby for food or huge fields perfect for picnics in the summer. There's also horse riding paths throughout 👍 Love having this near by

Lovely place for a walk. The cafe offers a nice variety of food. Including some gluten free snacks which is nice to see. Always nice and clean. 3 disabled parking bays right near the pond which is good. Nice flat walk which is wheelchair and buggy friendly.

Lovely park. Safe to let dogs off lead to run over open fields and explore woods. Ruin of very old house. Cafe is dig friendly with lovely staff and good food. Can sit outside and eat looking out over lake. Cafe sells duck food and doggie and human ice cream. Free car park and outdoor play equipment. Adult outdoor gym equipment in woods. Great place

Balmy temperatures today therefore a lovely day for a walk. Take stout shoes as its a bit muddy underfoot. Nice cup of tea at the cafe and then feed the ducks and swans. Plenty of parking.

I can't rate this country park enough, it has something for everyone, free parking on several levels on rough ground at the main entrance with large lake and wooden bridge, tarmac level ground around the lake with bench seats at many points off the paths. Green open spaces with woodland on the outside, tourist information and park rangers are in a brick built two storey building opposite the cafe and toilets building with a quick service counter for snacks and drinks with the main cafe inside. Swan's and ducks are on the lake waiting for any spare bread from your sandwiches. Up the slight incline is a large play area with many swings, slides, climbing frames and zip wire all fenced off from the dogs and escaping child. The lake and buildings are at the bottom on an incline, steep in places with many large open fields some manicured and some left wild. Various parts have paths though the woods to find open green spaces with no one in sight, great for dog walking, hiking, fitness fanatics and mountain biking. Free carpark at the top of the hill where the main grassed open recreation fields are, no facilities here unless your a dog. We visit on many occasions, great walks with the dog with great views, well worth a visit.

Had a lovely visit here with friends, free parking in the large car park. We walked round the little lake, then sat and had a drink from the café. We then had a lovely peaceful walk along one of the marked walks..... literally pick a colour then follow the signs to do the walk. Plenty of places to sit and take in views or just have a rest. We walked past a lovely kids play area, which my kids would have loved when they were little. Well worth a visit.

Surprisingly good food there, and every year it just keeps getting better. We had a lovely cream tea a few years ago, and now a few years on they have better ice cream and drinks options for vegans. They also do duck and swan food for the local wildlife. Lovely stop :)

Lovely place, play area treks wood lake wildlife. Shame the cafe is always running out of supply's. Been going here for years. And there is a ski centre next door with toboggan run

Lovely park with a beautiful lake, the play areas are really nice. Big downfall for us was the pricey cafe and the crazy wait... It was an hour for a sausage bap and chips. I would recommend a visit but definitely take a little packed lunch to save time and money!

Excellent park for all, plenty of space to explore and walk with or without your best friend (Dog). Wonderful play area for the children, a small Lake and a coffee shop. 5* and a regular place to visit and enjoy my photography.

Lots of lovely walks and running routes around the lake (with lots of ducks and swans) and further. Parking is free closes between 5-6pm (depending on season). Has publics toilets and a little cafe which was very nice, staff friendly, prices reasonable.

I visit here regularly with my young daughter. Plenty of parking, always clean and the cafe is really nice as well. It's a great way to spend some time in the outdoors, walking around the lake and feeding the ducks. I havent used the park yet but I'm sure we will when she is older.
