This place is top notch from the food to the service. Taylor is amazing and recommended the best things on the menu and also made sure our drinks were full. Would highly recommend this place. After trying to figure out where we were going to eat at. We decided to stop by Cheddar's in Chattanooga. From my personal opinion Cheddar's delivered everything to my expectations. The food was exceptionally well and was enjoyed by my family. I did have a bad experience once with cheddar's but that was in a different town and I said I would never try Cheddar's again but after all the years that went by I decided to actually give them one more try and must say it was an entirely way better experience not just for me but also for my family. Thanks. Would I try them again? Of course. I hope you guys enjoy

Unless you have 2 hours to sit and wait for a table? I would not go on prime time dining. We were a large party of 10, and we were told that there was no call ahead waiting. We were also told or arriving that it would be about 40 minutes. Almost 2 hours later we finally received a table and as you can see, they did not take the time to clean around our table. The food was mediocre at best, and although our waitress was very pleasant and attentive to some degree, we still wound up waiting for refills on drinks, and the overall service from the staff showed a lack of professionalism. We had never eaten at a Cheddar's before, but decided we would give it a try. We were impressed. The food was delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I had the Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms (so very good), and my wife had the Smokehouse Burger (and said it had really good flavor). Oh, and we had the Wisconsin Cheese Bites as an appetizer, which were melt-in-your-mouth yummy. And the side salad was great, with a great ranch dressing which Valerie (our server) said they made themselves. Great experience. Would definitely go again!

We went for a early family supper! Seated immediately by a nice hostess. Waiter was very knowledgeable about all menu items. Food was delicious and hot. My 1st time eating at cheddars. I will definitely be back.

TLDR- amazing food and service Waiter was very nice he accidentally added two teas to our recipe but noticed and fixed it before we said anything very helpful with figure out the electronic payment system. The food was amazing I got the chicken sandwich expecting it to be small and come with almost nothing on it like most other restaurants but it was quite big and had lettuce and tomato on it and tasted really good. My girlfriend got a pecan salad and she said "it's great I love it" and the amount of chicken that was given with it was more than enough she ended up giving me two piece of it . The men's restroom was clean and nice

Food, Service was fantastic! Friendly service and good food. Price is good too 2 meals , appetizer, dessert, drinks , and 1 alcoholic mixed drink and 15% tip all for under 50 bucks!

I don’t think you can go wrong with Cheddars. I love the flavored teas they offer. Strawberry is my favorite. I got steak and it was delicious. They offered bread as soon as we came which I love, it was smothered in butter, yummy!

My family and I went to celebrate my birthday and had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and our server was a bit eccentric but entertaining. Will definitely return! Also, the painkiller cocktail is delicious!

This is what the young lady wrote on our receipt after we did not give her a tip. If she had greeted us in a nicer manner she would have gotten a tip. Poor service.

Restaurant has dine in and outdoor available. Staff seated me right away. Clean and comfortable seating. The croissant with honey butter is to die for! I almost ordered more. I chose the cheddar bites as appetizer and was not disappointed. The New Orleans pasta was perfect and full of flavor. The strawberry lemonade tart, sweet and cold. All in all, a lovely and enjoyable lunch!

No serious complaints. This was our first visit at this location and the customer service was great. My Bourbon-Glazed salmon is always good and this trip did not disappoint me. However, my husband tried the new Monte Christo and it missed the mark unfortunately. To those who are adventurous and have leftovers, try it with grape jelly. It may be better for you as it was with him. He says it wasn’t horrible, but he wished he had ordered his faithful Buffalo Chicken Wrapper instead.

Really enjoyed my dinner. We sat at the bar and Michael was our bartender. He was super nice and fun to chat with! The manager came up while we were eating and made sure everything was good (it was!) it was a very enjoyable dinner. Hard to find restaurants where managers and servers actually care that their experience is good.

We have only eaten here 3x. And love it. We live about 2 hrs out from Cheddar's and try to have it when we can.

The best place for the price

It was our first time eating at a Cheddar's. Very nice place inside and out. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. The hot buttered croissant rolls they bring out when you sit down are to die for! I had to order another plate of them. It was a very nice lunch.

I have never had a bad experience at Cheddars. Go to the one in Daytona every time we're there. Mostly go to Chattanooga on Gunbarrel rd. Awesome food.

The experience here was overall well! The food tasted amazing, and the staff was very patient. However, I was a little off put by one of the servers who was a little too friendly for my comfort. Regardless, they checked on us and made sure we were all set. 9/10 would recommend

I had the 8oz steak and chicken strips steak cooked to my preference. The service was slow so was the restaurant. Nothing stood out to be great!

We got to our table, and the floor was dirty; food from the previous diners was on the floor. It did take a minute to be waited on, but she was awesome. The veggie plate reminded me of hospital food. The monster cookie dessert was great, though. It's worth trying, but it's just okay.

The food was great but the manager is amazing! Laydon came to our table after we had waited for over 40 minutes for a server. He more than made up for our wait! He really cares for his customers and we were blown away at his kindness!

We ate at Cheddar's today for lunch. It was delicious! I had my favorite...Monte Cristo, and Broccoli Casserole. My husband had the Coconut Shrimp, which was also delicious.

So we have been here numerous and it’s always great, today was a slight exception. We got sat quickly and our server was great. Love the pain killer drink it’s 🔥. The pot pie was good. My daughter liked her kid’s Alfredo. I got the small steak and was my only complaint really, it was really salty and a little overcooked. Also the server asked if I wanted garlic butter with my steak, so I said sure. I was charged a dollar, a freaking dollar for a tiny bit of butter. Other then that everything was good and I wouldn’t let that stop me from coming like I said this is the first time out of about ten visits, that had a complaint at all.

If you want a FANTABULOUS strawberry lemonade... ask for Avery! Best one I've ever had! Great experience as well!!!

Haven't been here in a long while, but love it every time. Food was delicious and our steak cooked to perfection. Loved the Maui Margaritta and cheese bites. Date night for me and my hubby. Waiter was very nice.

Love the cheddars in Chattanooga!!! We eat here just about every weekend and we love it. The food is fresh and fairly priced. The customer service is great.

My husband and I visited and had a very enjoyable time. Ribeye was good, potato soup yummy, salads good. Sitting near the fish tank was an added bonus!! I would recommend this Chedders!

The steak was tender and juicy the taste is a 3 out of 10. It was good but not comparable to one that comes from a steakhouse. However if you’re not looking to spend $60 a meal Cheddars will fit your perfect budget.

I missed the taste of industrially cooked food, but just for a few seconds until I recognized the taste of scratch cooked food that we make at home and don't keep heated for hours. I keep telling myself that I can cook this kind of meal at home for a lot less but that only accounts for the cost of the food. When I factor in the energy cost, the mortgage payment, my labor, the lack of a friendly waitress, buss boy and a dishwasher, this restaurant starts to seem like a pretty good deal.

Really good food and amazing service they were out of the ribs I wanted which are excellent but the steak was good to they run out because everything is made from scratch but this place is the place to go for good ole comfort food and great waitresses I will go back again soon

We had Cheddar's cheese fries as an appetizer, we had to ask for the bacon that was supposed to come with it. Waitress brought a small bowl with 2 tablespoons of bacon in it. I ordered the country fried steak, that was pretty good, the red beans and rice as a side, half the rice was still crunchy. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm. Our waitress was nice and attentive, named Taylor.

So happy we found this place as we were traveling. Enjoyed the fish tank. Nice atmosphere and good food. Service was good. We had been to other cheddar's locations, so it was familiar. I like the salmon with vegetables. Husband got ribs, coconut shrimp, corn and red beans & rice.

This was my 1st time at Cheddar's! Very impressed with the variety and value. My chicken sandwich was well prepared and tasted great! My wife and I will definitely be back!

The Lemon Chicken and Grilled Chicken Pecan Salad were EXCELLENT! The menu has so many choices it is hard to make up your mind. The service was remarkable. Our glasses were never empty and our server checked with us often.

We had a large party of 13 for a birthday, our waiter handled our large (loud) group very well. We all got our drinks and food and everything tasted great. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name.

Steak was sent back 2 times because of being incorrect. But otherwise service was good and server nice and friendly.

Can’t believe they got rid of the chicken and shrimp meal they had before Covid and didn’t bring it back. Hadn’t been back 😏

01/30/2021 - Cheddars has changed their menu offerings, and their prices seem to have gone up a dollar or two. Can't complain about their food or prices, the value is still there, it's just less now.

Great place to eat, had about a 20-25 minute waiting time but our food came out fairly quick and it was great.

The waitress was so nice and on time with the food and drinks.

Went for lunch and had the BBQ bacon burger and it was great!

I liked the food, wife did not.

I had a mobile order picked up today and the food was not prepared how I wanted in the French fries tasted like microwaved French fries. However they were very quick to correct the mistake and replace my entire order for free.

I came here with my family and it was about 16 of us. Our service was very good and the waitresses did their very best to accommodate all of our needs. My meal was very delicious and I know my father enjoyed his. The atmosphere was very delightful by being comfortable and yet spacious to our seating needs and requirements. The cost of the meals were what you would expect for a sit down type place so not heavy on the pocket but just enough to warrant a "night out" type of feel. I will definitely come here again to experience this place and try some new dishes.
