Wonderful birthday party for grandson at Cracker Barrel. One of my favorite restaurants in Chattanooga. Great gift shop and clothing for the special ladies in your life too. Highly recommend.

Food was ordered with a pickup time for 107. Didn't receive food till well after 130. Had to go back inside because they left our Mac and cheese. The only thing that was warm in my order was the Mac and cheese. Chicken tenders taste reheated and extremely dry.

Very delicious! Large portions. Also, Always wonderful waiters and waitresses! Very kind, friendly atmosphere. But I noticed something very special about this particular Cracker Barrel, one waitress went as far as to help an elderly lady to her car, carried her food for her, and even helped her get her seatbelt buckled in! You just don't normally seeing someone go out of their way to show so much kindness! Thank you to such a compassionate waitress! You just never know who is watching, and today my heart was blessed to see this!! You deserved 5+5 stars! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have always liked Cracker Barrel with their southern style food - but . . . This is the second Cracker Barrel I have been to in the last month (one in Chattanooga and one in Murfreesboro) that has told me their latte machines were “broken”. Made me think of McDonald’s and their ice cream machines (when was the last time you found one of those that worked?). Now you no longer get grits as part of the fixins’. Grits are cheap! I love them. With my meal, you got biscuits and gravy and a choice of hash browns or apples. I personally would prefer the grits rather than hash browns. Of course you can purchase grits separately. I did ask the server if this new “rule” pertained to all breakfast or just the one I chose. It seems it now pertains to all breakfasts - and, lucky me, this was Day 1 of these new menu changes - I was told there are other changes. Oh well, we’ve got to figure out a way to get around the “grit rule” without an extra charge. If not, I’ll be making my own at home. I did notice there was practically no one there and it was “prime” breakfast time - 8:30 AM.

Ordered fried chicken tenders. Explained to the manager that we had them last week at the Ooltewah location and they looked nothing like this. I couldn’t even bite into these. He said he would drop some new chicken. After everyone else in our party was finished eating, we asked for the ticket. We didn’t want the chicken anymore, we just wanted to leave. Then the manager brings the chicken out and says he went back there himself to drop the chicken. I explained I just want my ticket, everyone is finished eating. He leaves and I stop a server to ask if we can have our ticket. Then the manager comes back out and says he took it off. He literally discounted $3 a plate for the 3 of us that got chicken. We left and still have to go through a drive through somewhere. Rude service- never even an “I’m sorry they even tried to serve you this mess” or anything. Will not go back. Very terrible service.

We were seated immediately upon arrival. We ordered our drinks which were brought out promptly. We ordered our meals and waited patiently. After about 30 minutes we asked about our orders and asked for some biscuits to snack on while we waited. After about 5 minutes, the waiter brought out some biscuits and said it would be at least another 10 minutes as there had been some screw up in the kitchen. Food was eventually brought out but 3 or 4 tables that were seated after us had been served while we waited for our food. I don't know what the confusion was but the waiter kept our drinks refilled while we waited. The manager gave the table the meal 1/2 off due to extremely long wait. Food was fine but wait was not.

The young Gentleman did his best but had two many tables and food was like warm and waited 20 min for check. Again. Do not think it was his fault. Just sat to many in his area. There were lots of open tables.

Ordered 2x Chicken and French toast and 2x pancakes/eggs and bacon family meals. Hot and fresh and they packed it up perfect for me to transport to my team for breakfast! Included all the goodies like serving utensils and the little bottles of syrup. Thanks for making our celebration breakfast awesome!

Cracker Barrel let me down on my first visit in Florida, but has redeemed itself. The burger and meatloaf were tasty. I'm often disappointed by the lack of dessert options and here there's two, one was out (the coke cake).

Had my morning brunch with my husband there. I received, so many kind compliments upon arrival and leaving the place. Everyone was kind and welcoming! The food was tasty ...Love my new ornament that we bought from their Christmas tree. Will be putting it up on our xmas tree soon and placing that ornament on top of the tree very soon. Great vibes all the way....❤

Stephen, our waiter, was great! Friendly, courteous, attentive without being overbearing. The food was ok, but The squash casserole was too spicy and the sweet potato casserole, only available on Thursdays (?) Was a big disappointment.

Have been going to this Crackle Barrel for years now...always this time of year as a birthday gift from my family. But last night was the worst service ever. It took forever to get any cornbread....had to ask twice and the first ones weren't even cooked all the way. No one even asked if we wanted biscuits instead (my preference actually.) Drinks were messed up, sides were messed up, and ultimately we were all just ready to leave. And they really need to clean their oil! My chicken fried chicken was so dark brown and oily...proof that their fryers are far past due for a cleaning. Very dark brown chicken should tell you the oil is very very old. We had plans to order more for take out to enjoy the next day but didn't bc our initial order took so long and wasn't correct. Sorry CB....no more $ from us.

First off, I love Cracker Barrel! However, I have a sick child and was not able to leave to go pick up my “to-go” order so I ordered via Ubereats. Because Ubereats does not offer a selection for dressing, I called to request extra dressing. Daniel answered the phone and dismissed the request and asked me to hold after he answered. I then waited for 15 minutes on hold, and finally hung up to call back. The nice lady that answered did say she would take care of it if the order was still there. That being said, I worked at restaurants as a server, bartender, and manager and his dismissal of my call is very frustrating and should not be be tolerated by anyone. I also understand that these 3rd party services take 2nd fiddle to their walk-in patrons, however, a patron is a patron and the service, or lack therein, was atrocious this time around. I hate posting bad reviews on restaurants but when it’s as simple as requesting extra dressing and I am dismissed as if I am wasting Daniels time, it’s very frustrating. In the time I spent on the phone, I should have just driven to the restaurant but again I have a sick child and wasn’t able to. It’s very frustrating because I’ve been on the other side of this and would never make someone hold for 15 minutes at all, and much less for that simple of a request!

Here we are, 550 miles from home after driving for almost 10 hours, find a Inn right across the street from Cra cker Barrel. Order food on the phone, go pick it up and go back to the Inn and No plastic ware, no salt or pepper or napkins. We had to cut up the lids on the food to make utensils to even eat. At least use your head and realize that when traveling ,people don't carry that stuff with them. ,

Stopped here off I-75 in Chattanooga. We had a family of six that day. Our server did a great job. She had a wonderful smile and attitude. Meals were very good. We had some special orders for our meals. Each meal was perfectly accommodated. I recommend this location.

I had not been to a Cracker Barrel since 2012. This one had a wait like they always do but when we got sat I noticed they were only using one side of the dining room and only using like 8 tables, my guess this was for covid standards so good job for keeping people safe. The reason why I am taking away two stars is because everything we wanted on the menu was out so we had to settle for the three options that they did have and because the waitress was inattentive. It also took about 45 minutes for our food to get to the table. The food we did get was good and it was fun to walk around the country store while we waited. I will go back just not to this one.

  • 4/5 Stones B. 2 years ago on Google
Always great classic food!! They are very shorthanded so the wait times are longer than normal. I think this is also why the men's bathroom was dirty. If you need a job, then apply here. I had my usual dish of "Mommas French Toast with 2 eggs over medium, turkey sausage, and hashbrown casserole" Our server Jeremy was awesome!! He has some great customer service skills! Keep up the great work Jeremy!

We went to this Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Well we ended up eating a cold lunch! We sat for an hour waiting for our food. Apparently there was only one cook. I don’t mind waiting, but I expect for my food to be warm. It was cold. Our waitress also disappeared for long periods of time. Our drinks remained empty. She never checked on us. We won’t be back to this Cracker Barrel for a while.

  • 5/5 Nathan K. 2 years ago on Google
Our server Lydia was very friendly and did a fantastic job of keeping our coffee warm despite the rush of customers that followed behind us. They we're very concerned with helping customers in the order they arrived which is very appreciated. For was the quality except from a Cracker Barrel which is to say delicious and warm. Everyone here was hustling to get to every customer in a timely manner.

  • 3/5 Katherine P. 1 year ago on Google
Food is good but the waitress is so rude. I don’t want to name drop. I have dietary restrictions and asked to substitute a side (menu said y’all offer substitutions) and she flat out glared and said “no” so I had to scramble to find something I actually could eat, and I wanted that Cracker Barrel experience if that makes sense? I had to get carrots and broccoli for the price of something way higher. I can get that anywhere. I don’t know what we did to offend her but she was rude to the entire table. She made us all so uncomfortable because everyone else was ready to order, I told her I had to find something else because I couldn’t get the initial meal since I apparently can’t switch a side out, and she said she wouldn’t until we all ordered. So she literally stood there and glared at us. I wish I was over exaggerating because this sounds so dramatic but I kid you not this is how she was acting. I hope her day gets better I guess.

Avoid this Cracker Barrel. I go to Cracker Barrel restaurants all the time, and in general they are very reliable. This particular restaurant is not. I arrived tonight at 8:30 and was told by the host it would be a 20-30 minute wait. After 30 minutes, I asked how much linger and he said 10 at least. He also said that most servers left at 9, so it would be slow. I asked how long it would take if I ordered to go on the app. He said 15-20 minutes. I placed the order almost immediately and the app said it would take 36 minutes. I have been sitting on the parking lot for 36 minutes and the food still isn't here. If they were honest from the beginning, I could have easily gotten food in a timely manner somewhere else.

  • 2/5 Thomas S. 1 year ago on Google
Cracker Barrel used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Consistently great food at a reasonable price. Since the pandemic it has been a consistent disappointment. Two different locations (East Ridge & Hamilton Place) are just bad now. Long wait times to get seated then long wait time to get food (1hour from ordering) and then the food was substandard. $12.00+ for Roast Beef that looked like a child's order. Wife ordered fried bone-in chicken and was told after a 45-minute wait, there "was a problem" so she had to settle for boneless chicken 15 minutes later. Finally upon checking out with a $90.00 bill, no "how was everything?", nothing friendly, no "thank you". We are done for a while, maybe check back in 2024.

The staff was super friendly which is a must have to set a environment. The store was well displayed so you could see all the cool things they had for sale. And the food was melt in your mouth delicious. I had gotten the new chicken dish and it was so good i ate it slow to savor the flavor. Even though it had cheese it wasn’t greasy which is a plus for me. I would have to say it was the best meal I’ve ever had there. My hat is off for their cooks and recipes. And the waitress was great, friendly and attentive without being over baring.

Cracker Barrel is a place my grandma would take us after church on Sunday. Now it's a place I enjoy taking my daughter to we visit a Cracker Barrel @ least once or twice a week. Good country food wonderful country atmosphere and memorabilia. Not to mention the country store you must check out some of the merchandise even if it's just to look some cute little items.

First I would be happy to say that our service was great, fast, & professional. Her name was Lydia. Thank you ma'am. This is review is about the menu changes , alcohol sold, etc. You cannot order tomato juice, but you can order wine and beer. Also the breakfast menu is printed with syntax errors. They lack commas properly showing what you can choose between, causing confusion or forcing you to spend more. Notice the hamburger steak at 6.99, according to menu that says plus a 8 oz sirloin steak. Very sad and wish we had gone to Maple Street Biscuits on Gunbarrel.

I ordered online, so I wouldn't have to wait. Got picked up the order and noticed that it was bagged differently than normal, so I checked the bag. I had ordered the sampler with three entrees, chicken n dumplings, meatloaf, and country style chicken. I immediately noticed that the country style chicken was not in the bag. Took the bag back and was told it was going to take 4 minutes to cook it. I didn't want to wait. They didn't offer to substitute, and the manager said that it would take him longer to give me a refund. I used to love their chicken and dumplings, but for the last two times that I have ordered it, it was dry and gummy. Guess I have to go back to making my own. The meatloaf was crumbled and bland. The best part of the meal was the fried okra.

Very busy location. It was great at 1pm on a Tuesday. Plenty of parking, we were seated immediately, prompt and friendly service and the food was delicious. Everyone in our party of five enjoyed it. Note: you’re not likely to have an experience like this on a Saturday or Sunday morning at this location. Be prepared to wait. Be prepared to wait a long time

The food was great tasting and competitively priced (as has been our previous experience)! Our waitress was young and new; but did a nice job. A little more experience, and she will be fabulous. The decor in the eating area is a nice blend of pictures and historical objects. The gift shop has many unique and interesting things for sale. I would recommend.

We stopped by on our way back from Ohio to Florida. Ordered the country fried turkey (delicious). Our waitress was great. . .food was good until I found a 6" long hair in my cranberry sauce. When manager was called over - he simply acted like it was an every day occurrence and offered me a new serving of the sauce. While our waitress was great - management needs help. He appeared dumbfounded and did not know how to handle the situation. Would not suggest eating there.

The food was a leeks bland but ok. I'll have something different next time. Can't go wrong with breakfast choices.

Over the course of my lifetime, which includes eating here for at least the last 35 years, I can honestly say I can count on one hand the number of times I have been disappointed by the food. Excellent menu selection and I love that they serve breakfast all day! Always friendly and efficient servers. 😊
