I
will
start
by
saying
that
I
do
not
write
reviews
unless
I
absolutely
feel
the
need
to
do
so.
In
this
case,
I
do.
I
had
bought
the
dinner
package
with
the
upgrades
and
appetizer.
Paid
more
than
$200
for
what
was
suppose
to
be
a
special
occasion.
I
had
envision
'dinner
on
the
river'
as
we
will
be
eating
our
dinner
while
sailing
down
the
river.
That
did
not
happen.
We
followed
the
instructions
of
arriving
an
hour
early
to
be
checked
in.
We
were
guided
to
our
table
that
was
preset
with
our
salads,
appetizers,
desert,
and
glasses
of
water.
Part
of
the
upgrade
I
paid
for
was
to
have
a
bottle
of
wine.
I
was
told
I
would
have
4
tokens
I
could
redeem
for
1
bottle
of
wine.
I
stood
at
the
bar,
that
had
no
bartender
for
about
10
min
to
get
a
bottle
of
wine
so
we
could
enjoy
our
meal,
but
no
one
ever
came.
So
I
sat
back
down
in
hopes
someone
would
come
by
and
ask
if
we
needed
anything.
We
depart
at
5:30
pm
and
its
now
4:45.
We
ate
our
salads
and
appetizers
by
this
time
with
no
one
wine
or
anyone
checking
on
us.
Our
window
view
that
I
paid
extra
for
was
at
that
time
the
back
of
the
building
that
the
boat
was
docked
at.
They
bring
our
meals
to
us
before
we
even
finished
our
appetizers,
we
still
have
not
departed
from
the
dock.
Since
we
did
not
want
our
food
to
be
cold,
we
planned
to
just
continue
to
eat
our
dinner
entre
once
we
finished
our
appetizers.
Time
is
now
5:10.
The
food
was
sitting
next
to
us
for
maybe
less
than
10
min
in
a
food
warmer
tray
thing
(whatever
you
call
it).
We
start
to
eat
the
dinner
and
it
was
barley
warm
enough
to
be
enjoyable.
Steak
was
chewy
and
not
seasoned.
Chicken
was
so
tough
we
could
not
eat
it
without
our
jaws
hurting.
Rice
was
basic.
The
vegetable
medley
was
veggies
that
was
steamed
(I
presume).
And
the
potatoes,
which
was
the
best
thing
on
the
plate,
was
decent
but
still
cold.
The
rolls
that
came
with
it
were
old
and
chewy.
We
had
drank
all
of
our
water
and
I
had
asked
3
different
people
who
were
walking
by
to
bring
us
some
water.
I
got
the
same
response
each
time;
"I
will
let
your
server
know"
or
"I
will
get
you
some
in
a
second."
We
ate
the
food
that
our
stomachs
were
able
to
tolerate
before
someone
was
able
to
bring
us
water.
Time
is
now
5:30,
food
has
been
ate,
waters
JUST
got
refilled,
no
wine
or
any
alcohol,
window
view
was
a
back
of
a
building,
and
we
still
have
not
departed
from
the
dock.
That
experience,
or
shall
I
say
lack
thereof,
cost
me
over
$200.
So
my
'dinner
on
the
river'
plan
turned
out
to
be
a
horrible
decision
for
our
special
occasion.
We
had
even
discussed
that
going
to
Waffle
House
would
have
been
better.
I
really
hope
this
experience
was
due
to
in
part
of
COVID
and
that
other
people
do
not
experience
this
the
way
I
did.
Maybe
better
planning
is
what
Southern
Belle
needs.
