I booked this hotel as a place to stop overnight while traveling from FL to IL. I had called ahead to let the hotel know I would probably be arriving late. When we arrived the woman at the counter (11pm on 8/5) was super friendly. Our room was clean, but you can tell it is probably older and could use to be updated. The bathroom was super clean as well. I felt very comfortable staying here. My only reason for 4 stars is I felt the pricing was a bit high for being in an older room. This is the ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. Also, the breakfast was yummy, but the area to sit was smaller.

We checked in late in the evening after a longer than expected trip. We only stayed one night. We had two kids with us so when we found out the room was by the elevator we got a bit worried but we’re just too tired to ask to be moved. Well there was no noise the whole night (weekend night too). The room itself was very clean and nice. Breakfast was pretty standard but very good. Staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable.

We spent the night here and were surprised by the spacious room. Two queen size beds with adequate storage for luggage. They also offer a business center with printers, etc. The work out room is fairly well equipped and clean. We liked the large indoor pool and hot tub. Just the thing after a long drive. The included hot breakfast is also very good.

Really don’t know how this place has such good reviews. Maybe from people who don’t travel much? I booked last minute and just went off the high reviews- which was a huge mistake. I’m Diamond and here in town on business for 24 hours. When I checked in at 10p, it looked like I woke up the front desk clerk. Get up to the room and the A/C is set on 66, which was a little too chilly. I moved it to 68 and then the heat comes on instead. It’s August. So I had to choose to either freeze or overheat. The room is dated and dirty. Gross carpet floors, old school bath and shower, dark lighting. I accidentally dropped something in the bathroom and was horrified by how disgusting the floor was in the corner.

We stayed in room 102, and the minute we walked in our shoes were sticking to the tile. The rooms are dated and in need of a refresh. The mattress is very lumpy. My 2 year old son was walking barefoot on the carpet and his feet were black, our socks were dirty also. Breakfast was great though

Stay here if you can! This place was fantastic from the kind greeting at the front desk, to clean rooms, to top-knotch breakfast! The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, the interior was very festively decorated for October, and the breakfast was probably the best I've ever seen in a hotel. We had a marvelous stay and will go out of our way to stay here again. Thank you, Hampton Inn Ooltewah!

100% online process is great with digital key, direct to room. Only interaction with staff was when app would not work for checking out and we had already left the property and had to call back to confirm check out, staff was very helpful and friendly on the phone. Humidity in the room was very high and we couldn't figure that out so it made the room a bit uncomfortable.

Came in late on a Friday night. Jasmine the host at the front desks checked us in very quickly. Told us what floor & room we where staying at. She was very friendly and kind. Will recommend this hotel to anyone who ask! Thanks

It's going through a renovation so it's a little messy, but they were very accommodating to our youth football team. The heater in the indoor pool was broken, which was disappointing, but breakfast was good. I'd stay here again at the right price.

We had an unpleasant stay at this hotel for one night! The room was very dirty, pillows and bed smelled terrible, the carpet was sticky and the bed boards, remote controller and other spots were greasy. Towels in the bathroom were set in different spots and some weren’t properly folded(demonstrating that they were in a hurry or didn’t care). We could tell that the room was not cleaned properly or not really cleaned at all.

We checked in for 2 Rooms for 3 nights. they said there is a possibility you might need to be moved to deferent rooms in the middle of our stay. We said put us in the rooms that we won’t be bumped out of. The Mgr assured us we wouldn’t need to move. I thought that was a bazaar deal why even minsson it if it’s not going to happen. Well you guessed it, we got kicked out to deferent rooms. Our new rooms smelled of dog poop and urine.

Stayed on our way to Michigan from FL. The location was great for what we needed. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. They had Strawberry Waffles included in the complementary breakfast, which was a favorite for our kids.

Attended a conference in Collegedale and the hotel was only 10 mins away. Breakfast was good as well as the service at the hotel. The bed was comfortable. I had no problem getting to sleep the first night of our 4-night stay. I was told the hotel was scheduled for renovations sometime this fall. The carpet in our room was dirty and there was not a working fan in the bathroom.

Absolutely fabulous hotel!!!! Very clean, comfy beds, plenty of pillows, got the best night's sleep! Refrigerator & microwave!!! Best shower I have ever had in a hotel!!!!! Water pressure was strong & shower head had many options. Breakfast in the morning was incredible!! Great food & plenty of options, something for everybody.. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Breakfast was exceptional! Service was super friendly. & the rooms were clean and well equipped! The pool is open late and indoors, which was a nice cherry on top! I will definitely stay again when passing through Chattanooga. I did have a miscellaneous $13 charge, and getting it resolved was very easy and painless. The charge was annoying, but getting it taken care of was easy. Which I feel says a lot about the quality of service here if any issues WERE to pop up.

Our stay was great. The beds were comfy, the sheets and comforter was soft, had plenty of hot water, and overall was a nice room. However I rate this 3 star due to the price being higher than told over the phone, the hot tub was broken, and the lady at the front desk was rude when we were checking in.

A breath of fresh air. Immaculate hotel with excellent service. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable with extra towels. We were 1 room away from the indoor pool and hot tub. After our long trip, it was a delight to spend time together in their hot tub. The bed was clean and cozy. The front desk personnel greeted us with a warm smile with every encounter. Nice to have hot beverages two doors down with a mini cafe in the hall. I would rate this 10 stars.

I had checked in via the app and said we should be arriving @ 5pm, figuring that would be plenty of time to get the room prepared. (Considering there is a 11am check-out.) Arrived 10 minutes to 5 and room was not ready. Was not until 5:30 that room was available. Elevators were not working.. this is a 5 story hotel. Luckily I picked my room via the app and choose a 1st floor room. Felt sorry for those that had lots of luggage having to carry up the stairs. TV reception must have been via wi-fi as some of the channels were pixelated and kept cutting out for the sound. And the breakfast buffet was "meh." We opted for the Cracker Barrel across the street. Seemed to be a bad day for the hotel all around.

Awesome breakfast. Not just bagles and cream cheese. They have sausage, bacon, eggs, DIY waffles, etc. When traveling with your family you will save a lot on the breakfast alone. Rooms are clean and do not feel cramped. Price is good.

The only thing I would have liked different was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and didn't have sheets. When we asked room service to bring sheets no one showed up (3 stars). Things ultimately worked out but it could have been better. The breakfast bar and the hot tub are wonderful.

Full disclosure, I'm pretty biased when it comes to Hampton Inn. We usually like to stay at them and are rarely disappointed (check last year's reviews for the exception). Happy to report that THIS Hampton was wonderful. The desk people were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and very reasonably priced. Everything was clean and we had a great stay.

Everyone was so nice. Our room was clean and spacious. breakfast was outstanding. The eggs were cooked on site, the bacon well done and the biscuits were fluffy. Will stop there again when we travel north.

I loved that my dog could stay in the room with me, and we could choose any room- there weren’t any designated pet rooms. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the room was overall pretty standard- nothing too special. The complimentary breakfast had great variety and was tasty! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience! Taking off 1 star for room cleanliness- the night stand had a slightly sticky ring from a beverage and the alarm clock/charging ports were weirdly sticky too. (thought it seemed like it might just be the rubbery layer on the outside getting old)

This place was very clean, which is the #1 thing I look for. Pool and hot tub were clean and taken care of. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very nice. Plenty of restaurants around for a quick bite to eat. I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. I felt safe and was comfortable with leaving my boat parked overnight. The Local Goat restaurant next door is a must try for some great food! Only negative was there weren't any exterior outlets to charge my bass boat batteries. These outlets are common at hotels near fishing lakes.

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The ladies at the front desk had a sense of humor and made me laugh. That it isn't easy to do after driving a long distance. I asked to change rooms due to road noise. The ladies were very accommodating. The new room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast---Wow! I had to take 3 pictures because I could not fit it all in one shot. At check out, the lady at the front desk helped me with unifying my account. Great experience! I will stop here again when I am in the area.

Stayed for 6 nights. Was a pleasant experience. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was good. Almost a perfect experience. There was a large stain in the middle of my room floor. Also, the heated pool was not heated. Jumped into to icey cold water for an indoor pool was shocking. Overall good tho and will visit again.

Easy location to get to. People were nice and rooms were decent. Cleanliness could use a little detail for example the grout in bathrooms had some mildew. Pool was nice and hot tub was the best part. Nice place to stay on the way to the smokey mountains.

This hotel provided a stay that rates among the best our family has ever experienced. From the professional and welcoming front desk staff...to the cleanliness of the rooms...to the awesome breakfast provided...we enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Ootewah, TN thoroughly. It is a great location. The only thing we would have preferred was to have water in the pool much warmer. Thank you to all for this wonderful experience.
